The Winter Wheat Works Initiative is a local Nebraska Extension effort led by Nathan Mueller, Nebraska Extension Cropping Systems Educator for Saline, Jefferson, and Gage counties that encourages and supports growers in eastern and south central Nebraska to move from a corn-soybean rotation to a successful flex-rotation where some winter wheat acres are considered each year and strategically integrated into the cropping system.
