On today’s episode we are returning to a conversation we had with Matt Shoda. Matt is a former college and NFL football player who is now the Sales Director for Beechtree Diagnostics. My cohost and friend Jason Ormond had just heard from Matt about how in his opinion, we win or learn. Beyond this advice, he shares that the successes we have or rather the wins are most likely to be obtained when decide and commit to what we want to do and who we want to be. Lastly, there is some great advice from Matt about how he found one of his mentors and how important it is to have them in our life.

In our first part episode of our recent conversation with Matt Shoda we talk about his early lessons gained from playing football in high school leading into college teams and then the NFL. We also talk about his experiences growing up fast in Midvale, UT. Through these experiences he shares that "...the only two things we have 100% control of is the effort we put forth and the attitude we have".
