In today's episode, we discuss 48 year old Hélène Jégadom a French domestic
servant, Kleptomaniac and notorious serial killer who is believed to have murdered as many as 36 people using arsenic as her weapon of choice over a period of 18 years. After an initial period of activity, between 1833 and 1841, she seems to have stopped for nearly ten years before a final killing spree in 1851. For this episode, we will discuss her timeline, various killings, and criminal trial, ultimately resulting in her being sentenced to death by guillotine in 1852. Francis Heaulme was officially arrested on January 7th, 1992 for the murder of Aline Pérès.
Today is episode 2 of The Backpack Killer, Francis Heaulme series , this individual was a notorious French Serial killer active from 84 to 92, convicted of killing 11 people and suspected of killing up to 50. As previously discussed in episode 1 was the murder of Aline Peres, a 49 yr old nurse and mother of 2 who was brutally murdered at Moulin Blanc beach, near Brest, in the north-west part of France, in broad daylight As we begin our discussing into episode 2, we will dive more into the details of his younger life transitioning into the Killing years.
