We also talk about the importance of making memories together as a family, how we try to model a Christ-like marriage for our kids, and how we embrace the unique roles of husband and wife in God’s perfect design. Philip Anthony Mitchell, Pastor of 2819 Church in Atlanta, shares about his radical transformation from dealing drugs as an adolescent and a criminal lifestyle – to becoming one of the boldest voices for Christ in this generation. After jail time and another decade of trouble, Philip was outwardly successful, but inwardly empty, void, and suicidal. He tells how God supernaturally intervened in his darkest moment, ultimately leading him to Christ and a calling to pastoral ministry. Philip’s life is proof that God can reach us at our lowest point and transform us to a life beyond anything we can imagine – if we simply surrender.Philip holds nothing back in this conversation and exposes the reality of the spiritual war against fatherhood, the need for biblical marriage, and how to combat the rampant deception of this generation. As a man transformed by God’s love, Philip shares how intimacy with Christ in the secret place of prayer is essential for revival and healing, and how humility is the key to a meaningful life in Christ. Don’t miss what God wants to say to you through this video!

My husband, Jonathan Weiss, and my in-loves, Myles and Katherine Weiss, wanted to introduce the RWP family to the Jewish tradition of Passover. It is a traditional meal that celebrates the sparing of life when God sent His angel of death over Egypt. In Exodus 12, Moses retells the story of when God instructs the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb and paint the doorposts with the blood. And when the angel of death would encounter the painted door post, he would PASS OVER, leaving the family unharmed. This meal points to the eternal lamb of the New Testament, Jesus Christ (John 1:29)!
We have been WAITING to release this episode! I am so excited that Vlad Savchuk has come onto the podcast! You asked, we listened! I invited not only my husband, Jonathan Weiss, to the RWP set... but I also invited BOTH of his parents, Myles and Katharine Weiss! They even gave us such wise wisdom on how to honor and cherish the Jewish people.

I remembered when I first saw Dr. Kynan Bridges in an interview almost 10 years ago and told my late father, Marcus Lamb, to bring him over to Daystar Television. And now he’s back in the Rebecca Weiss Podcast studio for a second time! We went straight to talking about the plague of victimhood. As Dr. Kynan mentions in the interview, victimhood has seeped into our present culture. Get ready for an encouraging interview that reminds us: you are not a victim.
On October 7th, during our filming schedule for next year, Israel suffered a horrible terrorist attack by the extreme Jihadist group Hamas. This attack reignited a decades-long dispute known as the Israel-Palestine Conflict, in which both sides fight for the autonomy of the Gaza Strip, a piece of land bordering Western Israel. In response to these developments, I have invited my husband, Jonathan Weiss, and his father, Dr. Myles Weiss, to address and dispel the rumors circulating online, and to answer the question: What’s going on?
