In my experience, whenever I have heard the baptism of the Holy Spirit preached, it is more of how to receive the baptism than who the Holy Spirit actually is. It makes me wonder how many of us have the foundational doctrine on this particular topic.

So as we look at the Holy Ghost as the promise of the Father, we get to answer these questions:

  1. Who exactly is the Holy Spirit?

  2. Who baptizes us with the Holy Spirit?

  3. How do you receive the Holy Ghost baptism?

  4. Why do we need the baptism of the Holy Spirit?

You are not alone if you like things because there is something in us all that loves things. However, things will always be there. You needed them yesterday, you need them today, and you will still need them tomorrow. Your parents needed them, your children also will need them.

But in life, only one thing is necessary, if you can find God, then you have everything you need. If you can find His presence, seek His kingdom, and be at the center of His will, then everything else will begin to locate you. Whatever you have been running after will start to run after you.

Luke 10:42 "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Mary's demonstration of worship was one of the greatest worship experiences. Jesus Christ said for the rest of history, as long as this world remains, what the woman did will be spoken about. Mary was such a God-seeker that she became the first person to see Jesus when He rose from the dead.

I pray that God will help you and me so that we will always be after the one thing, to please Jesus.

Harvest is preceded by sowing. No Harvest comes if there is no sowing. Similarly, when the clouds are full they do not have a choice but to pour out rain. So we need to ask ourselves these questions any time that we are not able to receive our harvest:

  1. What have I sowed?

  2. How am I sowing?

You may be sowing good seeds, but how are you sowing them?

  1. What are the hindrances or destroyers of my harvest?

So as we look at these questions in greater depth, we will reap the benefits of our efforts.

Bishop | Charles Cody.

Your will is critical in God's plan for your life. As long as you are willing to do what God called you to do and you stay around the word of God so that it can begin to instruct you, and give you insight, then God will do something special with you. When your obedience to God is locked in place, you begin to experience the next phase of your life.

If you seriously desire what God has for you. If you want to be more than all right. Drop everything and dive deep to get out of that situation.

When I prayed many years ago, I was crying out to God, asking how I could stand the test of time and sustain the anointing. I wanted to keep the calling and do the things God had called me to do. My concern was that people I looked up to had fallen into all kinds of sin. I thought they had succeeded, but they were not where I was expecting them to be.

God revealed three to me things that I have been taking my time to share:

  1. The foundations: -Prayer-The Word-Love -Evangelism
  2. Maintaining focus, and not being sidetracked or distracted.

These are important things to remember, especially in these times when there are more things that want to move us away from the path we are meant to take.

Following Jesusrequires us to learn how to follow, because you cannot keep your focus on Him unless you follow.

John 12:26 "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."

Following Jesus is therefore, a lifelong journey, but it is one that leads to a deeper sense of purpose, fulfillment, and joy.

People want to worship God because it is convenient. But God is calling us to another place. A place of worshiping out of sacrifice because true worship is worship given out of sacrifice.

Habbakuk 3:17-19 "Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation."

Before anything else, we are worshipers, before I am a preacher I am a worshiper. There is not going to be any preaching in heaven. There is not going to be any praying in Heaven. The only thing we will do in heaven is to behold God's glory and to worship Him.

And so one of the things that we must focus on is to be like Mary when we are in the presence of God, to worship without reservation. Sometimes true worship comes out of pain. The more you have gone through, the deeper your worship is. The more your pain, the greater your worship.

The Journey of salvation is one of following Jesus and hearing His voice. That that which breaks His heart, breaks our hearts, and that we carry His burdens. We go with Him wherever He wants us to go. We begin to live as strangers on earth because the things that other people are motivated and are driven by are not what drives or motivates us.

"These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being first fruits to God and to the Lamb." Revelation 14:4.

When you follow Jesus, you begin to understand His heart. You begin to know His ways, you begin to desire what He desires and all these things will be added to you. Unless we fix our eyes on Jesus, we will not be sustained. Because life is going to bring all kinds of obstacles, there are going to be challenges. There are going to be betrayals.

Not everybody who came to Jesus stayed with Jesus. Some crowds were following Him because they had seen the miracles. Some people were looking after Him like Judas because they knew they would get something.

But thank God there was also a Mary who did not care about anything around. She was extravagant on Jesus, she broke the perfume and worshiped.

Who shall we be? Will we be counted among those who just follow because we want to see miracles, because we want to see what we can get, or shall we be counted as one like Mary? Who says, Lord, I just want to worship you.

May we be seekers of the Kingdom, God's ways, and His true love.

We should all ask ourselves these questions that Paul asked. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

God did not call us to be comers, He called us to be goers. We all want to participate in the great commission. But we are not fulfilling it probably because it is uncomfortable. It is not comfortable going out and speaking to a stranger. However, if you are moved with compassion, the compassion will be greater than your fear. It will be greater than your comfort, and your fear of rejection.

We need to show people we are not just bringing them to a church. People know about churches but they are saying what is so different about you? We have to be practical in showing love and fellowshipping with people. We should show them the love of Jesus Christ and pray for them.

Further along in the message, we look in-depth at how to effectively evangelize. Below is an outline of what to expect.

Steps to evangelizing:

  1. Establish a relationship with them.

  2. Introduce Jesus.

  3. Led them to Jesus Christ.

  4. Follow them up.

In case you have never felt a burden for souls, or you do not have the fire for evangelism, by the time you are through listening to this message, the fire to win souls will enter you. And you will have a testimony of having preached to some people.

Once you start going out to evangelize, you will be amazed at how people are hungry for the word of God. The harvest is plenteous. Some people are just waiting for someone to tell them about Jesus. May God use you as a tool to bring healing and salvation to many.

Why is the word so fundamental in this Foundation? Why is it so key? The Bible says in Psalm 138:2, "I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name, For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name."

In this message, we look at why we need to build on God's word as our foundation. We will further analyze seven things that the word of God does to us.

1. The word of God has the power to cleanse us: to cleanse our minds and to wash us.

Jesus said in John 15:3, "You are now clean because of the words that I have spoken to you."

Ephesians 5:25 the Bible says, "Husbands love your wives as Christ loved his church and gave himself for it that he may cleanse it by the washing of water by the word. So that he might sanctify the church having cleansed her by the washing of water by the word."

  1. The word of God has the power to transform us.

Romans 12:2 says do not be conformed to the standards of the world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.

If God has given us His word to transform us, His word will transform us if we are ready.

Isaiah 55:9 says, "As the rains do not come from the heavens and come to the earth without watering the earth, so is my word that comes out of my mouth it cannot come to me empty but it will fulfill that which I have commissioned it to do."

  1. The word of God shows us the will of God. We struggle with the will of God because we do not know the word of God. God's word can direct you in the will of God. There is nothing God is going to do that is outside His word.

Romans 12:2 says, "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may be able to prove what is that good acceptable and perfect will of God."

  1. The word of God activates faith.

Romans 10:17 "Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God."

Habakkuk 2:4 The just shall live by faith, my righteous one shall live by faith.

5. The word of God instructs us in righteousness.

Instruction in righteousness comes from the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 the Bible says, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

6. The word of God corrects us.

The Bible says it is profitable for correction. God wants to do great things in our lives however, He will not do certain things unless He corrects us.

You are going to blossom but before you blossom you have to be pruned. This is what Jesus said in John 15:2 "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit."

So sometimes correction is not even that you are sinning or doing something wrong. God is just saying you are doing so well my son my daughter, so I need to prune you so that you may do even better.

7. The word of God comforts and strengthens us.

The word of God is a source of comfort and strength. The good thing I love about our God is that even after He has beaten you up, and corrected you, He comforts you. Even when He corrects and instructs us, He does not do it to harm us.

1 Peter 5:10 "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."

Whatever you are going through, as someone said, you are just going through. God is not going to let you die in that wilderness. God is not going to let you get destroyed where you are. He is going to build you.

He will finish what He started, He is faithful to His word. He says the word that I have spoken, I will watch over it to fulfill it. Faithful is He who promised.

God has placed a certain command into the lives and hands of fathers. They are to teach and command their children and their household to keep God's way(psalms 78:1-7). This is a charge to fathers, your responsibility to your children is to show them God; teach them about God.

You need to have a big expansive heart to embrace people because as you develop in the Lord, He sends you children. And He will send some your way, so begin to expand your heart.

In this message, we will look at two examples of fathers in the Bible, Abraham, and Eli.

Genesis 18:19, "For I have known him (he's talking about Abraham) so that he may teach and command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is righteous and just so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what he has promised."

God is giving a testimony about His servant Abraham.

As we read Abraham's story, we conclude that It took a father who had taught his son to trust and obey the Lord to bring that son to a point where he obeys so foolishly. I call it foolish obedience because he laid his life on that altar willingly and said take my life. Abraham's obedience to sacrificing his son, coupled with his son's obedience was what pleased God about him.

And in 1 Samuel 2:12, we see God's report concerning Eli's sons. He says they were worthless men because they did not know the Lord, they did not respect Him. And as you read on you get to see Eli calling his sons and confronting them about the report he heard concerning them and about what they had done.

1 Samuel 2:29 "Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?"

In the above text, we see that Eli placed reputation above everything else. He said I do not like the report but he did not go forward to correct the sons. They should have been kicked out quickly because what they did in the temple was not acceptable. So before God, he was honoring the sons above God.

The first example we saw was of a good father who placed his son on the altar before God and said if I have to kill you for Him, I am going to do that. Eli on the other hand, honored his sons above God and that was the problem.

I urge us to be careful not to place our children, the offspring that God has given us above Him. The offspring, the blessings, and the things God gives us can never take His place. We can not place them above God. We can not create a situation where our children are more important than the Lord, and pay more attention to them. Because, in the long run, we end up neglecting the things of God.

Sometimes as we take care of our business things that matter to us more, we cause the things of God to suffer and eventually perish. In the eyes of God, that is honoring your sons more than Him.

God is so powerful and so great but He predetermined that there is nothing He will do on this earth without using a human being. And the way we permit Him or the way we give Him the license is through prayer.

So how come many of us pray but very few people really pray prayers that can shake the heavens?

What does it take to pray prevailing travailing prayers? What could be hindering us from praying effectively, and from seeing results to our requests?

In this message we will look into the barriers to prayer.

Barriers to prayer:

  1. Religious prayers.
  2. Unanswered prayers.
  3. Praying in the flesh.
  4. Praying in a hurry.
  5. Praying and stopping at prayer.

This will enable us to move from praying popcorn prayers; prayers that just pop and they are gone to praying prayers that cause a difference and have extraordinary results.

The Blessed One | Minister Annbell Murangi

The Beatitudes. (Matthew 5)

  1. Blessed are the poor in spirit because the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them. To be poor in spirit means you are at the point of surrender. Where you say yes God you have given me all this but I have nothing. And every time you wake up, every time you go to the place of prayer or every time you go to church, you are in a state where you want to be filled and fed by the spirit of God.
  2. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Comfort in this context comes when you bear the burden of the one who called you. Whenever you get a burden concerning God's purposes, you will get a reward. If I am thinking about the kingdom, I will be mourning because I would be wondering when will the lost souls come to the Lord.
  3. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Meekness is a sign of humility before God. And the greatest sign of humility is obedience. If I could translate it, I could say; blessed are the obedient, for they will inherit the earth. In the place of obedience, you will possess whatever you desire.
  4. Blessed are the ones who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they will be filled. Obedience itself is righteousness. We ought to hunger for the presence of God and thirst for His word. God told Joshua to meditate on it day at night. The devil fears people who are in the presence of God, not those with titles. That is not the language the devil understands. He understands the language of him that has completely emptied themselves and has been filled with the righteousness of God. The only way we get an identity is when we allow Him to be in us and get fully immersed in His presence.

My work my ministry | Pst. Paddy Musoke

In 2010 the Lord asked me questions concerning the productivity of Christian professionals in the house of God and out there.

God never asks a question to get your information. He is all-knowing. He will always ask you to attract or draw your attention to something.

So a Christian professional has two things:

  1. He has education-acquired knowledge and skills.

  2. Heaven has also invested in you - you have salvation, eternal life, and the Holy Spirit.

There is a lot of input investment in a Christian professional. So the question is, how much is the output?

The Christian professional is unproductive for God's kingdom in the workplace. Unfortunately, he is not representing the kingdom of Christ but working to meet his personal needs.

Things changed in Egypt after Joseph got employed in Potiphar's house. The change was also evident to Potiphar thus, he made Joseph prime minister. In God's kingdom work is defined as what you do to make a difference. Joseph was not working to enrich himself. He was working to make a difference and meet the needs of mankind. And in so doing, he brought glory to God.

Daniel never preached any gospel in the workplace, however, Kings bowed down to his God. What matters in our workplace is our work, not our words. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16 "Let your lights so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." The Bible does not say let them hear your words, it says let your light shine before men; let them see your works. Action speaks louder than words.

In the workplace, your work is what people are looking for, not just your words. It is not wrong to preach to them nonetheless, before your mouth speaks let your works speak. Let all men see your works. In Babylon, the Kings and everyone saw the works of Daniel and they bowed down before his God.

Christian professionals are a big force in the church however, the church has not yet recognized it. We have recognized all the other ministries for the youth, women, men, and children but have failed to acknowledge this group. Every Sunday they come to our churches but the problem is we recognize their cars, and their money but we have failed to recognize them. As a result, they are not empowered.

Men of God let us know that the nation changers are seated in our churches. Let us not expect transformation to come from elsewhere. To ensure we have a voice, a representative amongst the makers and implementors of laws and policies that run the nation, we need to focus on the Christian professionals. They need empowerment because the laws they make can kill or raise a nation. They can make Kenya shine or take it into darkness.

One woman Esther was intentional about her position. By virtue of her position as a Christian, she brought Deliverance to the whole nation. It is possible for Africa to change. We simply need to be strategic and intentional in equipping Christian professionals.

The church has formulated its lingo. Where we know how to do everything. We can jump, shout, clap, fall, and get slain; however, the Lord does not recognize us. We are not His; why? Because whatever we are carrying is not from the womb of the spirit but is of the flesh.

We come to church like a ritual, as if it were just another social event. We expect nothing from it and leave with nothing. Then we ask ourselves why we have no miracles. Nobody is asking neither is anyone hungry.

We need to repent and ask God for forgiveness for digging our own cisterns and trying to manufacture His glory and power. We need to come back to the source. We need to come back to the Fountain. We need to come back to the message. We need to come back to the cross.

We need to ask the Lord not which doctors for the rain. If we ask we will have it. There's never been a time when there is so much need. He says when you ask, He will send showers, not just drops.

Where are the people who are saying God it is not enough? I may have seen some Miracles, I may have had some words of knowledge, I may have prophesied, I may have done some things, I may have seen flashes but now I need showers.

The time of the shallow waters is over. I'm tired of shallow preaching and shallow Worship. I need something different this is why I'm asking.

It is the time for you to ask for rain.

Sadly, we have reduced the working of the Holy Spirit as an emotional experience; some goosebumps, but He does more than that. After listening to this message, I pray that you bear the burden and yearn for more than just an experience.

Ask the Lord for rain; your family needs it, your children need it, our nation needs it, and the world needs it. God said in His word that the knowledge of His glory shall cover the Earth as the waters cover the sea.

Ask God to rend the heavens!

The Tabernacle that David had pitched is what the Bible calls the Tabernacle of David. It is a tabernacle that hosts the presence of God.

2 Samuel 6:14-15

"14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might, and David was girded with a linen ephod.

15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet."

God wants to commune with us, to have fellowship with us. He desires to walk among us so we must create a place for Him. When we believe in God, the Holy Spirit lives in us. We become the temple of the Holy Spirit. We then carry the power of God, the presence of God, and the Holy Spirit. We become God's moving Tabernacle as we host His presence.

Now that we are the temples of God, we carry the power and the glory of God; how does God want us to offer sacrifices?

The Lord wants you to stand as a priest unto God. A priest who is not offering bulls and goats and sheep but offers daily sacrifices of praise and worship to God. Not complaining, not grumbling, not murmuring but praising the Lord. Praising Him in the good and in the bad times like David. (Psalm 34) Bless The Lord At All times. When we do that we are rebuilding the tabernacle.

Before David pitched this tabernacle, he dances and praises. The key to your breakthrough as a child of God is learning to praise and rejoice in God at all times. Your praise is a sacrifice to God. Your praise and your worship is a sweet-smelling sacrifice that causes the presence of God to come down. Psalm 2:3 the Bible says, He is The God Who inhabits the Praises of His people.

David was different from all the other kings because he was able to operate in three anointings; he was a prophet, a priest and he was a king. God used him as a type of what the church would be because the Bible calls us Kings and priests. As priests, we are the ones that are to stand at the altar and initiate communication with Heaven.

God is rebuilding the Tabernacle of David and He's going to use you and me that wherever we are, we pitch the Tabernacle of David Hallelujah! You walk into that house and you lift your praise and create an atmosphere for God to dwell.

No matter your past, your present, or the battles you face, choose to raise a tabernacle of praise. Hallelujah!

Five pillars to build on the Foundation that Christ has already laid:

  1. The first thing is the word of God.
  2. Love. (I'm going to focus more on love and Fellowship.)
  3. Evangelism.
  4. Prayer.
  5. Holiness.

Our focus today is on love. Jesus Christ talked so much about love more than anything else. Love is the most important thing. It is the foundation of Christianity. Unfortunately, today in the church we struggle to find it. Moreover, our society has the wrong concept of it.

Many of us think love is what you feel towards somebody, and that's just part of it. However, love is defined by three things:

  1. It's a commitment
  2. You cannot talk about love unless you commit. Marriages today suffer because people jump into it to test if it works. When you tell someone I love you, you mean that, "I am committed to you; I accept you the way you are. No matter what happens, I'm not about to change because I have chosen you among the others."
  3. God committed himself to us. We are not the ones who chose Him; He chose us. His love for you is constant. There is nothing you have ever done to earn that love and nothing you'll ever do can stop Him from Loving you. Not even sin can stop Him from loving you.

  4. It is what you do

  5. it is not what we say but what we do. True love has to be demonstrated by what we do.

  6. It's what you give

  7. God loved us that he gave. Love is about giving and not taking. As human beings, we want to take. We get into relationships thinking about what is in it for us. What am I getting out of it? Yet God wants us to give because it is His nature to give.

It is not easy to love like God unless He helps us. We don't have that ability. We are very selfish as human beings. We want to love ourselves. But if we allow God in our lives, He can teach us to love others.

True love is so rare on this earth people are looking for genuine love. I believe as we get closer and closer to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, one of the things that God is pouring into His church is genuine and authentic love for one another. People will experience love, feel safe and have a sense of belonging.

The last words of Jesus, " IT IS FINISHED" was not just an expression to mark the end of the long season of suffering. He was not saying "Finally, the Lord is of my head. Let me go". It was not a dying cry of a matter. Some people even think when He said, "It is finished"; He was speaking to man. No, He was not speaking to man neither was He speaking to the people who were around Him. He was addressing God.

And that is why it is crucial to study the text when you are reading the word of God and find out the background; the meaning behind the meaning.

Here is the meaning of the words " IT IS FINISHED":

  1. The Search is Over/finished { He is the perfect sacrifice} - Christ has redeemed us with precious blood as a lamb without blemish and defect. He's the only lamb without blemish and defect. All the other lambs had defects.
  2. Work accomplished - The work Jesus did does not need improvement. (Hebrews 10:11-12)
  3. Debt fully paid/settled - As we celebrate Passover, know that your debts are paid. Jesus paid Himself; He paid the debt we could not pay. (Isaiah 6:11)
  4. Sentence fully served - It is in your favor, beloved child of God. He served the sentence, paid the debt, gained victory, and perfected the work because He was the perfect sacrifice of God, the Lamb of God who takes away the world's sin.
  5. Victory Day - Victory gained. Christ's victory over the evil forces at Calvary was not a secret; it was a public spectacle. (Colossians 2:15)

Mark 2:22Because of the quick work God is doing, He is not just giving us the latter rain but also the former rain. He is going to cause the reaper to overtake the sower. If you are ready, God will go faster than you.

God wants to give you the Revival and release the new wine. But He can't put new wine in old wineskins because He will destroy both the wine and the wineskin. God does not want to kill you. Until you have developed the capacity to handle what He wants to release, you will burst when He gives you the new wine. Prepare yourself, get ready! Ascend to the mountain of the Lord and build capacity.

Time is running out. There is urgency in the spiritual realm. God is doing quick work. It is not time to play church/be religious/argue/compete. Even the devil knows he has a very short time. He is working quickly.

Do not be slothful, be quick and diligent in whatever the Lord has told you to do. There is no time. We have to wake up as a church. It is not about your church, denomination, or ministry. It is about the Master and the assignment He gave you. God is calling us back to Himself not to the church.

The world has its terms of success however, God sees faithfulness. When the Master returns, will He find you doing what He called you to do? You need not to be known, recognized, regarded, or right. Live for the audience of one. It does not matter who you displease as long as you please Him. Likewise, when you displease God, it does not matter who you please. We must leave a mark for God in our generation.

It is a clarion call to God's sleeping giant.

For every wilderness, there is a backside. God led Moses by the backside. God has a way; no temptation will come against you that He has not given you grace for. God will always make a way of escape. May God open your eyes to see your backside, to see that place you have never seen yet it has always been there. God opened Moses' eyes, and he was able to lead the flock, and he ended up on the mountain of the Lord.

And the Bible says that when he was at the mountain of the Lord, there was a bush burning. It was burning with fire, but it did not get consumed.

The Wilderness experience for Moses was a baptism of fire. God began to change him. For some of us, we are in a kind of wilderness, and we have gone around this wilderness, but God is saying there is a new way I want you to know me.

Moses had never known God in this dimension. He had never understood God as a consuming fire. He looked at the burning bush and was surprised it was not burning. He turned around to see.

God is raising a generation of people on fire for Him. People who will take a stand for God when everybody else is moving away and impact their generation. You will be on fire for God with a passion burning within you, just as Jeremiah was.

Jeremiah 20:9(NIV)

But if I say, "I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire; a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.

The presence of God is the best place to plant oneself. Psalms 92:12 states that " The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God." It is crucial to choose carefully where you get planted, as not everyone needs to speak into your life, not every environment is ideal, and not every ground is suitable for you to get planted. It matters where you go to church, hang out, and who your friends are, as these things affect whether you develop, bear fruit, or remain barren.

The righteous shall flourish like the cedar. I like the words that the word of God uses because the cedar is the most amazing tree in terms of how its roots grow wide. Cedars are mostly in Lebanon; their roots go so wide that they break rocks. Some Cedars you find them growing on mountains they're able to penetrate even rocks. Their ability to grow so wide makes them the strongest trees on Earth. It's hard to uproot a cedar because it goes so wide.

Even when it is pushed by the wind, the palm tree never falls. The roots are so deep, they reach deeper than any other tree. The higher it grows the deeper it goes. This is God's best description for the righteous, they will flourish like the palm tree. The palm tree flourishes because it can get nutrients from places that other plants or trees cannot, it penetrates deeper and the cedar goes wider.

God is calling us to be deep people, from shallow places to deeper places. For us, to flourish, we must be deep and wide. The Book of Psalms 42:7 still speaks of, "deep calling unto deep' This man of God is talking about how he feels God calling him deeper. May this be your year of getting deeper and running away from shallow Waters.

There is still more in God than you and I have seen, even if we have seen miracles or prophecies, or walked with Him. The Bible encourages us to search for God from the outer court and seek Him. When we talk about seeking God, we're talking about getting deep. Even fishermen know that the deeper they go, the better fish they can catch because some fish cannot be found in Shallow Waters.

God is preparing us for depth. We must get to a place where we are deeper in the things of God. Deep calls unto deep!

Repairers of the breach are:

  1. Intercessors.
  2. Watchmen.
  3. Priests.

So let us learn how to repair the breach as intercessors, watchmen, and priests.

  • Intercessors

Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one."

We often talk about intercession as standing in the gap for somebody else. But I want us to understand today; intercession is more than that, it is about building a wall. Many times we read this scripture and do not see that God is saying, I do not want you to just stand in the gap; I want you to build a wall, to close that gap and build a hedge. A hedge is only Built where there is danger.

  • Watchmen -the real purpose of a Watchman is to alert when there is danger.

Isaiah 62:6 - "I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth."

After you have built the wall; you do not just walk away, you have to watch the wall. Here is where the watchmen come in. After you repair the breach, then God assigns you as a Watchman. Jesus told us not just to pray, He told us to watch. Breaching means to break little by little and before you know it the enemy has made another entry.

  • Priests - Perform priestly functions. The world can only have power if it connects to God.

The first part of standing in the gap between God and His people is building the wall. The other part is performing our Priestly function because you represent your family before God. You are the one who is standing in there to pray to God. There is a misconception; I do not know where it came from, in which we always talk about men only as priests of the household, but that is not in the Bible. The Bible says we are all Kings, a holy nation, and a royal priesthood, so whether you are a man or a woman; you are a priest. A priest stands on behalf of God to declare the purposes of God. So do not just say I am not a man; therefore, I cannot be a priest of my family, no! God expects you to be a priest to raise an altar, to open a portal that heaven gets access to come and intervene on behalf of your family. So it is not enough to build the wall and repair it, we must offer sacrifices to God daily as priests. Our sacrifices as we know are not animals; it is our worship, our praise, our prayer, and fasting.

God wants you to know that certain things have stayed so long because you've allowed them to. Jesus Christ says I have given you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven whatever you bind on Earth shall be bound in heaven. Bind means whatever you refuse you refuse permission to, heaven will endorse that whatever you lose/whatever you allow God says I will lose it.

So some of the things we think are God's responsibility are because we haven't taken our place. It is time to engage the spiritual gear. I know you've been going up that hill, I know it's been tough, I know it's been very painful and I know you've almost felt like giving up. But it's not time to give up, it is not time to retreat, it is not time to surrender, it is not time to give in or give over. It is time to say enough is enough I must take what belongs to me.

The Bible says that on Mount Zion there shall be Holiness, there shall be deliverance and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Where are the people of God who are saying enough is enough? What the enemy has done, the people he has taken in my family I cannot let him take another soul. I won't let another brother go into alcoholism. I won't let another sister go into prostitution. I am raised right now to say enough is enough. The walls you have broken down are enough, the gates you have burnt down with fire are enough now I must do something.

This takes me to the last place the last dimension the physical when you have thought, you have the fact you have prayed now you better wake up and do something about it.

Nehemiah 2:5 says and I say to him if it pleases the king and if your servant has found favor in your sight I ask that you send me to Judah to the city of my father's tombs that I may rebuild it.

Are there people who are saying I am here because some things need to be rebuilt? God saved me and put me in this family because certain foundations must be repaired. The Bible says in the book of Psalm 11:3 "if the foundations are destroyed what do the righteous do?" and the answer is when the foundations are destroyed the righteous rebuild them.

I pray that you will be among those who are saying, I'm tired enough that I will engage in every dimension. I will do whatever needs to be done to break down whatever spiritual forces that have been stopping me from advancing because I am in the Kingdom for such a time as this. Mordecai Challenged Esther and said, "if you hold your peace deliverance will come from another place." so God is not limited to you God could use anybody.

Today I'm talking about prayer, how to pray and why many prayers do not get answered. Many people think they're praying yet they don't see the answers to their prayers. And the first reason is:

  1. We pray out of order. We are trying to get God to work against His Word and He can never. God can never operate outside His Word. And all the devil wants to do is disorganize your life and open you to things that shouldn't be there.

We do not pray to inform God. We pray that God may inform us. I want you to think about that again, there's nothing about us God does not know. And so a lot of us, when we go to pray, it's just a monologue. We're trying to tell God this and that, but let me tell you something that I learned. And this changed my life. I realized that I need to stay in prayer long enough to hear God. Because it is when He speaks that your situation changes.

The other thing that pains me and this is everywhere, even in our nation is:

  1. Mixture. God hates mixture. If you are light, be light, don't be light and darkness. In the very beginning, God separated the light from the darkness. He didn't say, let's have something that looks like light. This year, your prayers will be answered because you are bringing back order where there's been disorder, you are bringing back divine structure.

Jesus Christ said if you are in me and my words are in you, you will ask whatsoever. So as long as you are in divine alignment, you are seeking the kingdom of God, and you are seeking His righteousness; anything you desire, He will do it.

John 15:7; says, up to now, you've not asked me; can you imagine? He says you've not asked me for anything. These guys had been with Him for three and a half years but He tells them; you guys don't know who I am, you've not asked me. He says, if you abide in me, my words abide in you, you shall ask whatever you need, whatever you desire, He says, and it shall be done for you.

I read a book in it, the writer says, bold prayers, honor God because God is a big God. In 2023, may your praying go to another level! May you begin to believe for the impossible, and may you not limit God by your salary, connections, and job. May you begin to believe God for what your salary cannot do, for what your job cannot do, because your salary is not enough. However big it is, it's not enough to fulfill God's vision for your life. So I've learned to believe God for big things, to pray bold prayers, and to tell God what, not just what I want, but even what I desire, why, because that's what the Bible says.

Many of us pray prayers God has already answered because we have not learned to pray. We have not learned to descend that miracle. We have not learned to just receive the blessing. God has already commanded your blessing, O Hallelujah. All You need is to hear where it is. Everything about you has already been planned. You're not just trying to make things happen. When you understand that, then you realize you just need to spend more time with God, understanding His will, than trying to make things happen on your own. So a lot of what we think are unanswered prayers are not unanswered prayers. God has already answered; we just don't see the answer.

Every instruction God gives is a seed. So the instruction you hear from God could be an idea, a dream, or a new business idea, and God speaks in all kinds of ways. He will speak, but sometimes we think, this is my voice or this is my own thought. But God wants to direct you. Many of us go back to prayer, asking God to answer, but that instruction will work for you only if you obey it.

So today, we're going to speak about creating an atmosphere for your seed to blossom. There is no better place to see that than from God Himself. When God was creating this earth, He fashioned it as a seed. Everything God has spoken to you is a seed. Everything God has revealed to you is a seed.

How do we ensure that the seed God has given you will reproduce? Because not every seed reproduces and this is caused by different reasons. Some seeds are sowed on the wrong ground. We know the parable of the sower. Some seeds are picked up by the birds. Some seeds are choked as they begin to grow. And so there are many people's destinies and many people's lives, that have not been fruitful.

What will change your year is not just a change of dates. To ensure that your seed blossoms, you have to consider these three things:

  1. Recognize what kind of seed God has given you.

  2. Where are you supposed to be planted?

  3. How will you provide or create an atmosphere for that seed to blossom?

There are three things we see in Genesis 1:1-4:

  1. Emptiness
  2. Lack of structure/ form
  3. Darkness.

So when God saw that these three things were there, what did He do? Did He panic? Did He call a committee? What did He do? The Bible says He let His spirit hover over the face of the waters.

So the key thing for you to blossom in 2023, is learning how to create an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to hover over your life. Because this is what God did when He realized things were out of hand. Now before we go on, let me talk a little bit about this word, hovering; it is very powerful because it's the same word as brooding. Brooding is what the hen does over the eggs so that they can hatch. And for 21 days, this hen will come and sit on these eggs. And after 21 days, the eggs hatch. But you see, that process cannot happen unless there is brooding.

The seed will remain a seed unless it is subjected to a process. Everything God has spoken to you is a seed. Everything God has revealed to you is a seed. It must go through a process. Many of us don't want the process. When God speaks to us, the Bible says He declares the end from the beginning. When God speaks to you, you don't just hear it, you see it.

Habakkuk says, "I will stand on my watch and wait to see what he will say to me."

God is so good at creating a picture in your imagination. He will show you the end at the beginning. The end you have seen excites you. But there is a vast gap between the vision that God is giving you and your situation.

And coming from your situation to the place of your revelation is where a lot of people give up. Because God, even in the beginning, His idea of the earth was not darkness, it was not emptiness, His idea was us and the plants and all these things.

But, He comes face to face with this situation and says, I know how to deal with this. I will let my spirit hover, glory to God. Friends in 2023, there are certain things that you're going to learn not to do. I like what somebody said; many of us write a to-do list, as our new year's resolutions. Most of us, by the end of the second month, realize we've not done anything. I learned that instead of writing a to-do list, I should write a not-to-do list.

That great name | Pst. Andrew Mutana

Because of Jesus, you are a winner in life, an overcomer, and a victor.

Romans 5:17 -You are supposed to reign in life.

God has already planned your life. The script has been written. All you have to do is walk and live by that script.

In Christ, we enjoy life. There is no joy outside of Christ. In Him, we have joy unspeakable and full of glory. Joy is not the absence of pain or sorrow; the presence of God is what gives joy. His joy gives us strength.

The Bible says, "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say rejoice." Do not put your joy on hold because of your expectation. Begin to enjoy life where you are on the way to where you are going. You will have the joy of the Lord that is not dependent on happenings when you begin to celebrate God's goodness.

Waiting is never an easy thing.

Waiting on God means:

  • Having a confident expectation from God.
  • Depending/relying on God.
  • Raising our hope in the everlasting God; shifting our focus from every other thing to God.
  • Trusting God's timing and actions.
  • Inquiring from God.
  • Understanding His will and purpose.
  • Resting in God- Surrendering to God, not questioning Him, and allowing Him to do it in His own time.

When you wait on God, you create an atmosphere that enables people to trust in God. As you wait, you are preaching because people are watching. Psalm 40:3 "He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him."

No waiter just sits down and does nothing; every waiter serves.

As you wait:

  • Serve.
  • Keep the faith.
  • Change your confession.
  • Don't give in to shortcuts.
  • Don't give in to backsliding.

God is constantly speaking, but often times we do not receive what He is saying. Sadly this is the case for a lot of Christians today.

The ultimate purpose of faith is to make us more like Jesus Christ. Receiving from God is the key to walking by faith. You must tune yourself to receive from God's frequency. (Job 33:14-16)

God speaks through dreams and visions of the night. God wants to order your destiny through dreams.

How do we tune ourselves to hear from God?

  • Rid yourself of the information that you have filled yourself up with. (Luke 10:21)

-God sometimes hides things from people who think they know too much.

  • Allow God to teach you how to hear Him.

-Knowing God requires us to know less of this world and of what men know and allowing Him to teach us by the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus said, "my sheep know my voice and the voice of a stranger they will not follow."

-Prayer is a means of creating the atmosphere for God to speak. Faith that works miracles and brings us to the next level is activated when God speaks.

-During creation; God said, "let there be"; and things shifted. In your situation; what you need to hear is; "let there be," and your circumstances will change.

Take the limits off from God

Revelation is higher than knowledge and wisdom. It is God breathing into your spirit, revealing truths and mysteries that you need to know. If you are not walking in faith you are in sin (Romans 14:23). A lot of us live by information; every knowledge we acquire through the senses. What we can see, hear, touch, feel or read; which may not necessarily be the truth. The devil bombards people with lies and half-truths; and they begin to doubt what is true.

The devil wants you to sin by making you depend on what you see and hear. You become constantly worried, fearful, and anxious about things that will not happen. When the devil succeeds in making you afraid then he gets access to attack and destroy you. More than half of the things you are fearfull of will never happen. When you overcome fear 90% of the battle is won.

The opposite of faith is not doubting but fear. Fear comes out of information. People have ways of defining us. It is dangerous for us to live under the limitation of people's definitions of us.

Faith is received through hearing(Romans 10:17). The expression of your faith is what you speak. The demonstration of faith is obedience. Until there is obedience, the bible says your faith is dead. It is not about the length of time spent in prayer but the instruction you obey after praying. The essence of prayer is that we may hear God speak. What God speaks creates faith and causes things to happen. God already gave you the solution, until you obey the instruction God has given you, you will stay at the same level.

As human beings, we are prone to forgetting. We forget how God brought us through, how He healed us of those sicknesses, how He opened those doors, how He lifted us, and how He has been providing for us. We forget easily not just the bad things but also the good ones(Psalms 78:17). A lot of the limits we have resulted from what we have heard; we have been told it is incurable, it is impossible, there is no medicine for it, even the doctors have failed. We have so much information. Part of the biggest problem we have is what we know.

We have limited God to be our savior and to certain areas of our lives but there is a segment of your life you have not given Him access to. The Bible says whoever comes to God must believe that He is. He is the I AM THAT I AM. Whatever you want Him to be He will be that; He is El- Shaddai the many-breasted God.

It is not my inability to meet your need that will stop you from seeing a miracle, it is the limitation you put on me that will stop you from seeing the miracle. Every time you limit God you are provoking Him. If you believe He can do it He will do it for you. Don't just take the limit off; throw it.

God wants to have a relationship with you; for you to establish it you have to have a post; a discipline of prayer. It is where you invite God into your affairs, where a portal opens for you for God's interaction with your issues.

The spiritual world and the physical world respect each other. God never does anything on earth unless man invites Him to. He can do anything however; He has restricted Himself from interfering with man's affairs until somebody requests Him.

Until you see what God has spoken to you, you should not leave that place of prayer. You need to move from the level of hearing God's voice to the point of seeing; that is called faith. As long as you can see it, it is yours.

Sometimes it takes a while for you to begin to see. Most of the time it is because of the flesh; the carnal nature. Carnal Christians are not necessarily sinners but are people led by the flesh; they are constantly fearful, worried, anxious, and troubled because they live by what they see. Their motivation for prayer is fear and not faith.

The faith life is living by what you hear from God; by what He says. Not by what you see, hear, or feel. You have to pray until you can see. That seeing is conceiving what you believe for. The angel told Mary, "the Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the most high will overshadow you." Just as Mary conceived of the Holy Spirit; all that God is going to do in your life, you must conceive by the Holy Spirit.

Just as Mary; it begins by us wondering "how shall it be" because we do not have what we need or what it takes; to the place of saying "let it be unto me according to your word. The moment Mary declared that the Holy Spirit took over and she conceived of the Holy Spirit.

The power of one request in prayer

You need to have a prayer list; we are not trying to downplay the importance of a prayer list. But every one of us has got one thing we need urgently and are after.

This kind of prayer points out to God those who are serious and passionate from those who are not. When you stay at it continually, staying in God's face and crying out to Him; without pulling back or turning around no matter how bad it looks or how long you have to keep at it, praising and thanking God you are going to get your request. As your prayers penetrate the spiritual realm, they arrest God's attention and your request gets granted because He heard you. Nobody can stop your answer from coming; God will move heaven and earth if He has to to get it to you.

God wants you to get to the point where you say, "now I know how to get it." May you get to the point where you can get what belongs to you. It is your season, God is answering your prayers, and He is already networking for your breakthrough.

When you walk upright before the Lord you will see things happen in your life that other people only dream of.

James 5:17-18

The things you want to happen in your life can happen but you have to understand that you have to do something extra to make them happen.

Prayer is a part of worship

  1. Worship - It is part of the makeup of prayer. Prayer is part of worship
  2. Supplication - stay on it until you get the breakthrough
  3. Petition - pleading your case before God

Your persistence in prayer gets you what you want.

Steps to getting a breakthrough in prayer:

  1. Target prayers (Intent and intentional prayers)

Systematic prayer repeated regularly

Backed up by the word of God which validates your prayer

Give thanks always for what you prayed for and God will take note of your consistency and persistence

  1. Determination

We need to be wise enough to realize that there are certain things that we need to deal with.

Devote and dedicate your purpose, time, and intention to one thing.

Be passionate, and stay on course with the same request.

  1. Quality of depth and firmness in prayer

Great power is generated when you have a one-line prayer request.

When you stay at it, you break through from the flesh into the spirit realm and can pull those answers into your life.

Your faith is so powerful it can turn anything around in your life.

We perish for lack of knowledge. The devil deals with our ignorance. You have to deal with yourself and with your elements, don't let the enemy trick you.

God wants to grant you your request, it is your season, and you are long overdue. When are you going to get up? It is time for your breakthrough! You should have been out of there a long time ago. God is ready to enlarge your territory, to enlarge your courts. He is ready to give you the power and the anointing to do what He has called you to do. When are you going to get personal? Christ was personal; He was going to get nailed to the cross. Elijah got personal; evil was going to take over and they were all going to suffer.

You have to get personal; stay at it and be firm about it. Set aside a time that God is going to hear from you every day. Other than that the enemy will break in and slaughter you, destroy you and cause you to have nothing. You have to have a serious prayer life that is after the answer and not just going before God and throwing prayers around. You can not play the religious mode of prayer, you have to know what you are after and stay at it until you get it.

IT IS YOUR SEASON GET YOUR BREAKTHROUGH.

The devil always asks us, "where is your God? What is He doing?" So how do we overcome this?

Let us always remember past victories. When you set your mind on what God has ever done for you before; you receive faith and strength to overcome that which comes at you; however big the mountain. (Psalm 77:10-12)

Every time you are confronted, you should remember the word of the Lord. Tell the devil, "it is written."

Just as God used a raven(which is carnivorous) to feed Elijah with meat, He can use anything. He can meet you at the point of your need in whichever way; beyond your salary, allowances, or even your relatives.

1 Kings 17

We are in a battle, a spiritual war. The devil is fighting for the souls of men and not buildings or possessions. He uses demons and men who worship him or have given themselves to worship other gods.

We Christians are not supposed to live on the offensive. Unless there is darkness there can be no light. The light shines brightest in darkness. If we are the light why should we be afraid of the dark? God will send us where there is darkness so that His light will shine because greater is He who is in us than the devil in the world. When we walk in a place we take over and do not plead with the devil, because we serve a superior altar.

Understand your spiritual authority. Everywhere you go know that the power that backs you is greater than the devil or any other force you will ever face. The contention and the fight have not ended; God is looking for Elijahs who can stand and go to mount Carmel and begin to contend.

God is raising a remnant church which is tired of the mixture and going with the wave; and demonstrate to the world that God can still do miracles, heal sicknesses and deliver people from demonic bondage. These people will not only demonstrate in church but will invade mount Carmel.

1 Kings 17

When you come from the presence of God, you gain boldness to confront what other people run away from. When you pursue the presence of God you will not fear the presence of men. Learn to pour out your heart before God. God has already given you authority; everything you bind, will be stopped.

We forfeit peace and carry needless pain simply because we do not carry everything to God in prayer. We sit and say we are waiting on God however; there are certain things that God is also waiting on us to do, i.e. obey the last word He spoke to us. You are the body of Christ stop asking Jesus to go save that brother; He has given us His power that we may go forth. You are His hands and feet; Christ is seated at the right hand of the father. He already did all that He needed to do for us to walk in His power and authority.

He left the Holy Spirit with us; He lives on the inside of us. When we stay in the presence of God, we become the carries of the glory of God, that we may be able to bring healing to the sick and deliverance to the oppressed.

We need stay in communion with the Holy Spirit to exercise the power He has made available to us and walk in His grace. We cannot express the love of the father unless we have communion with the Holy Spirit. Until you abide in the presence of God, you will not be able to challenge the Ahabs in your life.

Seeking God is about the condition of our hearts. (Jeremiah 29:13)

When we seek Him our lives can never be the same again. (Psalms 27:8)

God has never desired that men seek Him for what He can give. His desire is that we have a relationship and communion with Him. When you begin to seek God the things of this world lose their allure, He becomes your only passion. The children of Israel only understood the acts of God however Moses got to know the ways of God because he was a passionate pursuer of God's presence. (Psalms 103:7)

The presence of God is the most valuable thing you can have in life; the enemy will do anything to get you out of the presence of God. He will cause you to sin because sin separates us from God. Eden is not a physical location but it means the presence of God. Any place can become Eden as long as it has the presence of God. The absence of the presence of God is what causes fear, self-consciousness, and the feeling of inadequacy then we become aware of our limitations.

The presence of God is a covering. We were all created with a place in us that longs for God's presence and nothing in this world can take that place. We cannot be sustained outside of the presence of God; we must learn how to pursue His presence. He wants to lift us from the level of living for the vanity of this world to the place where His pursuit becomes our number one ambition.

Psalms 91:1; Jeremiah 29:11-13; Acts 17:23-28

God is omnipresent but at the same time, He hides. He has a secret place; and those who seek Him can find Him.

God is a God who wants to be sought. He is not far yet He wants us to seek Him. It is not those who go to church that finds Him, not even those who read the Bible; it is not even those who pray that find Him. There is a difference between praying and seeking God. So many people pray but are not seeking God. Many people pray because they want God to help them; they are seeking His hand and not His face. It is one thing to go to pray and another to have a heart that is seeking the presence of God.

The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart. Many come to God but their hearts are far away from Him.

We need to ask ourselves; I have been in church all these years, I have been going to church but how come my life has not changed? How come I have never had an encounter with God? How come I have never had the voice of God? Perhaps I need to learn how to seek Him.

Ephesians 6

Spiritual warfare is a lifestyle.

  1. Nature of our warfare.

-The battle is spiritual, not against flesh and blood.

Elements of spiritual warfare:

  • Crucify the flesh. Colossians 3:5
  • Take control of the mind. Romans 12:1-2; James 4:7
  • Total submission to God. Ephesians 6:10
  • Know your position in Christ. Ephesians 1-3

-We have been made to sit in high places.

  • Walk(lifestyle & conduct)in unity. Ephesians 5-6
  • Your attitude

Levels of spiritual warfare:

  • Personal level- dealing with/crucifying the flesh. Colossians 3:5
  • Ground level- dealing with the enemy. Mark 16:17-18; Acts 8:4-8
  • Occult level- dealing with/confronting the agents of satan.
  • Strategic level - dealing with territorial spirits. Needs cooperation, you are not supposed to fight alone. Daniel 10; Acts 19

  • Defensive weapons we have in the word of God.

-Our weapons are not carnal.

  • The belt of truth
  • Breastplate of righteousness
  • Shoes for the preparation of the gospel of truth
  • Shield of faith
  • Helmet of salvation
  • Sword of the spirit

  • The weapons of attack.

  • The word of God

1 Peter 1:23 "having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,"

Life comes out of a seed. An incorruptible seed which is the word of God is planted in us by God the moment we give our lives to Him. This seed cannot be defeated and it is what helps us to overcome the world. We are assured of victory because the seed of God is inside us.

Genesis 8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”

If you don't have the right type of seed it does not matter the kind of soil you put it in. Everything you have in life is a seed i.e time, talent, skills; you can decide to plant it or not. When you don't plant it you will not have a tomorrow.

Everything you need is inside you; God already put it there. You need to know how to bring out what you need from what you already have inside of you.

Attributes of a seed:

  • Right environment- ground/soil represents our hearts and the atmosphere. You blossom in the right environment
  • it must die- letting go of things
  • Unless crushed it still has the ability/power to germinate

Condition your life do not let others condition it for you.

We are already blessed however many of our lives do not show that we are blessed. In this message, we get to understand how to activate this blessing. Galatians 3:13-14

A blessing is a decree/announcement/proclamation upon someone for their success or prosperity. It is something that is spoken to you that empowers you to succeed. God did not create you to be a failure, He created you to succeed. It is God's pleasure for you to succeed.

Everyone wants to thrive  and move forward in life, so how does God prosper His people?

1 Kings 17: 8-16

The devil and the world will always have you looking at the natural and what is wrong around you so that your condition will blend in with it. If you catch God's principle you will flow in God's blessing. You have to go with God's direction; the world is crocked but God's word is straight.

Little things bring forth big things; what you have in your possession can do more than you think it can. Your future starts small however it will end up being great. If you want to get into your future blessing or harvest you have to use what God has already given you.

2 corinthians 9:10

After obeying Elijah, the Zarephath widow went from poverty to plenty, from famine to total supply. She did not worry about what she was going to eat tomorrow, the moment Elijah stepped into her house the miracle happened and the blessing started flowing. The anointing is on God's word. As long as you have a word from Him in your belly, the anointing in your belly does something.

Dealing with discouragement:

You first need to acknowledge what the problem is. We should not live in denial as Christians. Having faith does not mean that you live in denial. It means  you acknowledge where you are and receive faith through God's word to know that that situation can go in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Every time discouragement knocks at your door, remember; remember where the Lord brought you from, how merciful He has been to you, and the good things He has done not only for you but also for other people.

It is unfortunate that in the present day church many people are ignorant of spiritual gifts therefore a lot of us are easily manipulated, confused, and destructed by men and women who claim to operate in spiritual gifts but are not being led by the Holy Spirit. The reason is that a lot of us are not able to discern what is of the Holy Spirit and what is not of the Holy Spirit.

Not only are we required not to be ignorant but also to desire to operate in the spiritual gifts. There is a gift in you if you already carry the Holy Spirit. All you need to do is to activate it. We all don't have the same gifts nevertheless we need to desire every gift. These gifts are given by the Holy Spirit. So they don't come to us because we have fasted and prayed but the Holy Spirit gives to the one whom He sees fit to operate in the gift.

Every prophetic word God gives to you, you need to write it down. It is not the responsibility of the one prophesying to cause that word happen. It is the responsibility of God in partnership with you. Many people have judged men of God on the basis that a word was spoken and the word never came to pass. A word is a seed, a conception that once it is released is supposed to birth something in your spirit, and then you are supposed to travail in prayer until it comes to pass. Some words will happen immediately while others will need you to carry the expectation.

Our God is still in the business of doing miracles but sometimes those miracles do not happen because people do not have an expectation.

If you are going to be used by God the first thing He will do is to cause you to love people. It is not just love but another thing that causes us to walk in compassion is being broken. For us to be used by God there is always a breaking before a making. Some of us are still in the process of being broken where He is taking away our pride, ambitions, and desires.

The number one reason why most people do not operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit is fear, fear of what people would say. If you still have a reputation to preserve then God cannot use you. You have to get to the point where you are serving the audience of one, where pleasing God is all that matters.

Prayer is sweet though for many believers, it is a struggle. It takes tarrying to get out of the flesh, the longer you stay the deeper you get. Prayer begins from a place of discipline, to dedication and finally to a place of desire where you delight in it. The Holy Spirit is the one that makes you enjoy prayer.

Reasons why we pray in the Holy Spirit:

  1. We are speaking mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:2)
  2. We are speaking to God, not to men (1 Corinthians 14:2)
  3. We do not know how to pray (Romans 8:26)
  4. We build our inner man/edify ourselves (Jude 1:20; 1 Corinthians 14:4)
  5. It is the highest form of spiritual warfare (Ephesians 6:18)
  6. It is a sign that you are a believer

The more you pray in the Spirit the more your inner man grows.

Speaking in tongues is not a measure of spiritual growth, because someone who has just received salvation can speak in tongues and some who are so carnal still speak in tongues. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that shows how the mark of the cross has worked in someone's life.

The devil is not scared of people who speak in tongues but those whom the Holy Spirit has done a work in their lives.

The bible says, without love; you can speak in tongues and be like a sounding gong however you can pray in tongues, and as you open your mouth fire and arrows come out of you. When you pray in the human tongue your prayer becomes even more effective when you let the Holy Spirit direct you.

The Bible says, being filled with the Holy Spirit so the filling is supposed to be continuous. Just as on the day of Pentecost may you have a fresh experience of the Holy Spirit.

Often when we go to God in prayer we believe Him for miracles, but every miracle that ever happens is not done by God alone. It is always done by God working with a man; there has to be a response from a man.

There are many people; whom when Jesus passed during His time, needed miracles but only those who responded to Him received their miracles. There are several whose response of faith activated the miracles.

A prophet is one who proclaims, mentions, summons, and calls things. Every child of God can prophesy. You can change your world by your words, not only can you change but you can create another world by your words. You can begin to call forth things that are not and command them to be.

Every word that God has spoken never goes back to Him. But how come many of us have received prophesies but have not seen them fulfilled, many of us have prayed but have not seen things happen? There is a disconnect but the disconnect is not with God, it is with us. It is in how we understand the prophetic ability that God has given to every one of us.

Ezekiel looked at the dry bones and God asked Him, "Son of man can these bones live?" This is the same question God is asking you today as you look at your situation. He asks "do you think this is possible." This is the response many of us give God, "God it is only you who knows, I'll keep waiting on you." Every time God does a miracle it happens as you respond.

Power in the word of God.

The word of God has the power to change your mind and heart. As you allow God's word to change your heart and mind; then your time in the wilderness will be shorter. When you combine the word of God and prayer you can never go wrong, you can change nations.

Do not be conformed to the standards of this world; learn to do things God's way by transforming your mind through God's word.

For you to know the good, acceptable and perfect will of God, you have to  offer your body as a living sacrifice; give yourself to prayer, fasting and walk in righteousness. And as you read the word of God it transforms your mind. That transformation enables you to know God's good, acceptable and perfect will for you.

Our breakthrough lies in loving our enemies. Every time we do not forgive we bind ourselves. Let us get back to authentic Christianity and walk in love.

The mystery of the love of God

When Jesus enters a place He stirs up things. Things have to move and change. To those that believe He has given them the power to be called the sons of God. You have the power to become everything that He was as the son of God.

Your presence must be felt as a son of God. As you walk in places things should shift and people should get stirred up. You should not walk in a place and blend in or allow the world to influence you but be the one that influences the world. We have been called to be the change agents and not people who conform.

May we not be people who just fit in, blend in and disappear into the crowd but be the ones that always stand out from the crowd. For we are the Sons of God that carry the anointing to make a difference. We are not here to blend in for the kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent men take it by force. We are here to change the way things happen.

Jesus walked into a city and the entire city was moved; until men asked who He was. Who we carry has the power not only to change our lives and families but also to change cities and nations.

View Details

"But to those who have received Him, He has given them the power to become sons of God." It is a privilege and a right to be a son of God but there is also a power that makes you and causes you to become. That power is already in you.

Everyone on earth is God's creation and He loves them, but not everyone is a son of God. Only those that believe in Him have the power to become sons of God.

As Jesus was exiting this earth, the centurion exclaimed; "Surely He was the Son of God." Men ought to declare that you were a son of God. As you exit the earth may people look at your life and the marks that you leave behind and testify that you were the son of God.

The gospel was not just written for us to just stand in awe of what Jesus did, it was written that we may walk in the likeness of His greatness. The gospel that we preach cost the life of the son of God that we may become the sons of God. Christ did not go through all that suffering and humiliation for us to build an organization or for pastors to be well paid or so that people can drive big cars and have big homes. He went through all that so that men may walk on earth as sons of God.

It is sad to die like a mere man when you have been crowned with glory. It is sad to run away at the sight of the enemy when God has already given you everything that you need (2 Peter 1:3" as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,").

The power of God is carried by sons of God and only those who are led by the spirit are sons. May your life reflect the sonship of God.

What are you living for? Are you just living so that you can get a family and have a good life because everybody can do that! You don't need Jesus to have a big car or get married. Some of the things we come to church to pray and fast for we ought not to be praying and fasting for. These are not the things that identify you as a son of God, they are not the legacy of sons of God. Your generation is waiting for you to become a son of God. Will you manifest?

The mystery of the love of God.

Jesus is the manifestation of love and His sacrifice was the expression of this love.

Psalms 8:4-8 What is a man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit[a] him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than [b]the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen—Even the beasts of the field, 8 The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.

The earth was made on the foundation of love and so whatever God made on the face of the earth was conditioned to favor man.

1 John 4:8. The Lord is slow to anger because of the love within Him. Anyone who does not love does not know God for God is love.

The only way to silence men that are fighting you is by putting on the garment of love; which is God Himself.

Psalms 145:8 -9 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9 The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Lamentations 3: 22-23 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Who is this man? What differentiates Him from any man that has ever lived or will ever live? He is the hero of the Bible story, everything in the scriptures centers around Him. The prophets in the old testament spoke about Him and He is revealed in the new testament.

History as it is stated is His Story. Even time is marked according to the days that were before Him (BC- Before Christ) and those that were after Him(AD- anno domini, which means “in the year of our Lord.”). He is the only man who is recognized by all men and whose birthday is celebrated all over the world.

Who is the man Jesus? He was not just a mere man that walked on the face of the earth. He was not just a man like us though He looked like us and lived like us, He was a man that left a mark; a legacy. It is because of Him that millions of people all over the world gather to worship.

Not only was He a great man He walked on water; the disciples marveled and asked themselves what kind of man He was that the seas and the storm obeyed Him. The grave could not contain Him. He is the alpha and the omega, the center of the universe. Everything that is is because of Him and everything that will be, consist in Him. He is the God who was, is, and is to come.

Who is this man? If you have a revelation of this man, Jesus; it will change how you live for Him. It will change how you serve Him. It will change what you fear. You will realize that you are in a place of greatness because of this man. He did not just leave, He went to prepare a place for you. He came as a pacesetter and a trailblazer.

The anointing for dwelling under the presence of God and the wings of the father does not operate only in speaking in tongues. When you are faithful to the word and will of God upon your life, your resources will locate you.

Your provision is coming under the wings of God. The ability to discover, engage, produce and make it is from God, switch on your creative mind. God is covering you under His wings so that nothing hits where your wheat is.

Your provision is not in the nest in which you are in; the power does not come when you are in the nest. The power comes when God has poked that nest and elevated you. You have to stay under His wings. God is creating a new opportunity for you because you have a mandate. You are about to be reassigned and elevated to be able to access the exclusive confidential and controlled files of your life.

Because of elevation, you have access to power and innovation. By the power of the Holy Spirit, you have access to these crucial files of your life.

Certain files are only accessed at certain levels, so stay under His wings. You can only get provision and access to certain heights under God's wings. Some opportunities are accessed only by those who have achieved these heights.

The only way to change your life is when you leave your nest and enter the boardroom of the father because you access confidential files concerning your life. These files introduce you to your identity in Christ; making you aware of your mandate of implementing the kingdom of God on earth and enabling you to access certain resources in your life.

You have to sign those files, your name must be assigned to them and your signature must be there because divine interventions require earthly approval.

There are some morally good people in the world, so God did not call us to be morally good people, He called us to align to His purposes. Righteousness is about aligning to the divine order, not just about not sinning. And it is in righteousness that we are promised to be established. It is not enough to go to church, you have to die to every other thing in your life until Christ begins to live in you. You seize being a slave to sin that you may become a slave of righteousness.

We were never created to survive outside the presence of God. Just like a fish cannot live outside water, you and I are supposed to be preserved by the presence of God.

The world we are living in is a dry place; people are hungry and thirsty they are looking for life. Everyone outside God has dryness in them because there is an emptiness, a void in them that can only be filled with the presence God. That is why when God created man He placed him in a garden called His presence(Eden). When you are in the presence of God then you begin to hunger for more of Him, and the more you know of God the more the things of this world stop having their pull on you. You are a river in the desert, a spring in the wilderness as you walk you bring forth life and refresh others because there is a river of life flowing out of you.

James 3:10- whatever your heart is full of the mouth is going to bring forth. One of the ways that men are going to taste of the waters that are coming from you is when you begin to speak grace. The source of the river of life is the presence of God and the only qualification for it to flow out of you is being thirsty.  When you are thirsty God gives you water but it does not stop there it becomes a spring of water. The world will see the glory of God when this river flows out of you.

One of the most powerful forces on earth is the force of water, you cannot contain or control it. When it begins to move and you try to stop it it will always find its way. This is similar to someone who has the power of the Holy Spirit; they will have the ability to break through every obstacle. When the waters begin to flow they cut through rocks, they move things and bring down trees. Rivers are so powerful and that is the image that the Holy Spirit wants you to see.

Ephesians 2:20-22

Everything you see that is standing is determined by its foundation. A foundation is not something that you can see; most times it is hidden, but it is was determines how high a building can go. There are foundations everywhere; in families, societies and other places and what determines the nature of the foundation is the person who builds it. It can be an evil foundation, if the builder is an evil person or a righteous foundation, if the builder is a righteous person. God is raising a people that will rebuild the ruined foundations.

If the foundations be destroyed what can the righteous do?

When God wants to change a society,a family or a nation He begins with one person. And because God loves you and your family, He has chosen you to raise up a foundation for the generations to come, you are the one to break every evil pattern that has been running in your family.

God wants you to have so much authority in the spirit that you go back to the ruins and waste places that the enemy has created over your family and build them back again and correct the wrongs.

Don't expect something in the public when it has not happened in the secret place. We have to learn how to engage the secret place so that public display will not be zero. For us to be productive in the public our engagement in the secret place needs to have intensity, we need to engage His presence until there is a conception for results to be there.
