Frank Frantz was saved in the early 1970 during the charismatic movement that swept through the traditional churches in the 60s and 70s. At that time, he had a passion to share Jesus with others and later started a church in Colorado. Being driven by a desire to serve Jesus, he went to Kenya as a missionary in the early 80's, and then to France, where he began a church and pastored it for thirteen years.Coming back to the United States in 1997. He lost his sense of ministry direction when his wife died in 1999. He has spent years wandering but has never lost the sense of calling and purpose to serve Jesus. Through Frantz's books, believers and unbelievers will capture an understanding of the miraculous works that God has revealed, exposed, and the glorious things to be seen. The Glory Paradigm and The Revelation Series are powerful insights of the Lord highlighting biblical people and events and how these parallel our times. God is raising up an army of servants and has amazing things that He will reveal through his glory!

Life Flashes: A Memoir, comprising nearly 119,000 words, is a genre-bending combination of diary, memoir, biography, and spiritual commentary written across a fourteen-year span by the author based in Cohasset, Massachusetts. The book folds snapshots of history, pop culture, and current events of the period into the author's private reflections, family moments, and personal philosophies creating a story that functions as both a contemporary guide and time capsule for future readers. The lengthy narrative pace is truncated with short diary entries and quickly changing topics, which tend to keep the reader from losing focus. The book is suitable for readers ranging from some young adults to seniors.

If God had said to me “I want you to write a book,” I would be looking around to see whom He was talking to. Feeling like insecure Moses, I would have said; “Do what? You have great authors out there. You don’t need me. I’m not author material. Please send someone else.” That would have been the end of that conversation!

However, being the all-knowing God that He is, He just prompted me to write short articles on things I’ve been learning that could help others. After I had shared these articles over time, a friend said to me, “You know, these articles are very helpful. I think you should consider putting them in a book.” At that point, it didn’t sound so intimidating. I took that suggestion seriously, and that led to the birth of my first book: "Get On Board and Stay On Board" (be a Christian and remain a Christian). It contains articles on salvation and articles on the Christian walk. So God got me to write a book without asking me to write a book. I have since then published several books with one translated into Spanish. I've completed my first children's book and there is more to come. Please stay in tune.

Leonard Lee Buschel marvels that he survived the first 44 years of his life… He still can’t believe that he didn’t get knocked off by drug dealers, thieves or the copious amounts of drugs he himself ingested. Or locked up for life in a U.S. or international prison. And then again, there were the near-death asthma attacks, open-heart surgery and the brain tumor… Yes, it’s a whale of tale—all true—that he writes in his acclaimed autobiography HIGH: Confessions of a Cannabis Addict. Buschel lived to tell about it with vast humor, thrilling storytelling, and great insight. He is an Addiction Expert and California Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. He is editor/publisher of the respected weekly news source Addiction/Recovery eBulletin, director of the 13-year-old REEL Recovery Film Festival and Symposium. and co-founder of Writers in Treatment, which supports creatives who struggle with addiction and self-destructive behaviors. But to get to that eminence, he first had to survive his profligate youth and his 25-year chosen profession as a drug dealer. Buschel’s life started skidding off the rails just weeks after his birth, when his postal-worker father died of a massive heart attack on his way home from work, throwing what began as the idyllic family life of a middle-class Philadelphia Jewish family into a skid. Raised by his mother – herself a very quirky character — alongside his older brother, Leonard learned most of his life lessons at the corner candy store under the guidance of the local bookie and the a group of cigar-smoking, streetwise philosophers who thought nothing of buying hot merchandise out of the trunk of a car. Gradually, experimentation with pot and sex unleashed a nearly life-long addiction to both -- and what better way to support a cannabis habit than get into the business? Hijinks, adventure and near-disaster across international and state lines ensued, alongside explorations of the spiritual, metaphysical and psychedelic, oftentimes populated by personal encounters with the likes of poet Allen Ginsburg, Ram Dass, Jiddu Krishnamurti; a series of Woodstock headliners; and Hollywood luminaries including John Cassavetes, Gena Rowlands, Stacy Keach and others. And close friendships with Robert Downey Sr., in particular, and Robert Downey Jr. -- who were often there to lend support in challenging times. He spent much of his drug selling proceeds to see the leading jazz artists, rock music superstars and Broadway shows of the era—always living HIGH!. But finally, in his 50s, in the midst of an emotional breakdown over a shattered relationship, and after “smoking his breakfast, drinking his lunch and snorting his dinner” for many years, Buschel checked himself into the Betty Ford Center. It was hitting the lowest of the lows that so many addicts experience. It was time to see what a month would be like without vodka, weed or ecstasy. For Buschel, it was a revelation! Every moment he was struck by how alive he felt when not under the influence. For him, the power of the program there and at AA, worked wonders. He has now been clean and sober for more than two decades. And while he tinkered with several careers to replace his successful, but illegal profession, he finally found himself drawn to helping other addicts kick the habit and find a stable, healthy, robust sober life. Inspired by the work, he launched the eBulletin, film festival and organization Writers in Treatment, which he cofounded with Robert Downey Sr, that have made him a leader in the recovery field. HIGH is a fascinating read, a lively romp through a very vivid life, but it also a cautionary tale and one that inspires. If someone as committed to the drug life like Leonard Buschel can find a sobriety beyond 25-years of active addiction and drug dealing, than there is hope for those who are inspired by his message that there is a better life awaiting—and that they can do it, too.

In 1984, Peter Honigmann started his journey in martial arts in Kenpo Karate under Grandmaster John McSweeney, a pioneer in reality-based self-defense.  John served in multiple branches of the military, was one of Ed Parker’s first black belts, introduced Kenpo Karate to Ireland, worked as a bodyguard for the Kennedy family, and opened a martial arts studio in Elmhurst, Illinois (which is still teaching his style of Kenpo).  Peter was drawn to John’s powerful style of teaching, which focused on simple and effective self-defense.  Peter trained in Kenpo for 12 years under John, John’s student Tom Saviano, and Mr. Saviano’s student Steve Rigitano.

After John passed away Peter purchased the rights to Street Karate from his widow.  He took the book and has annotated with notes from his own self-defense prospective, as well as adding some legal considerations.  While not an entirely original book, it could be very useful to people looking for some hints and tips on learning self-defense, and is a unique book when it comes to talking about real situations where martial arts were used in self-defense.

In 2007, Steve was diagnosed with renal cancer. Although this was a frightening time, it began a journey of discovery into topics such as wellness, nutrition, meditation, and personal development. Much of his belief regarding the importance of healthy lifestyles stems from his experience with cancer and subsequent self-education. The essential nature of this knowledge was then solidified by caring for an abundance of patients in the Emergency Department suffering from complications of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer. Over the years, he began to realize that there was a positive side. He understood that many times these conditions could be prevented and often reversed.

He has years of experience taking care of tens of thousands of patients, and it is his unshakeable belief that we should all be active participants in our health, doing the best we can to take care of the most valuable gift that has been given to us. He believes that we can be better.

To this end, he has written two children’s books that impart lessons of good health and his latest work: “My Steps Forward: An Inspirational Guide to Living a Better Life,” which is part memoir and part inspirational. In its pages, he shares many of his thoughts on health and wellness.

These are Corrina’s words.

“I began drawing in 2010, at the age of 20, after struggling for two years with an unknown illness. Mostly bedridden, I turned to drawing as a constructive and therapeutic outlet. With severe insomnia, fatigue, a 24/7 migraine, anxiety, vision issues, digestive issues, problems with my adrenal glands, etc., there was very little I could physically or mentally accomplish. It was depressing and frustrating, and what helped keep me sane was the little amount of time I could draw while lying in my bed.

After four years of dabbling with drawing from my bed and couch during my “good” hours, I was finally diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, Bartonella, Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, and two types of pneumonia. I’ve been on treatment since April of 2014, and progress is slow, but significant! There’s still a long haul ahead of me with my treatment, but it’s working and I’m grateful I’m able to do as much as I can, and so much more than I could a few years ago.”
