Man… what a year this week has been 😅 In this episode I discuss our experience with hurricane Ian, buying a new car, why my old one had such bad juju and our plans as we head back home to Canada in a few days! As always, thank you so much for the support and please head on over to my IG (@brittanylauzon) to see where you can contribute to those in need that were affected by hurricane Ian 🖤

In this episode I interview my very first guest, Jessica Lagos, whom is a very close friend and my longest reigning client of 4.5 years since I started coaching for the Audacious Athlete team in 2018. We talk about her journey with PCOS, hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, pregnancy, overcoming postpartum depression, the highs and lows of her first bikini prep and the new goals she has set for herself since stepping on stage. To inquire for coaching, head to www.audaciousathletes.com and fill out an athlete inquiry questionnaire (& be sure to request me as your coach!)
In this episode we dive a little deeper into the financial expenses that are demanded of you throughout a bodybuilding prep alongside a little chit chat about post-show depression/blues.
Just a little quickie for you! The first look into a series that I would like to make a few more episodes on in the future—The pros and cons of competitive bodybuilding.
On this episode I go into 10 very common reasons I see people not achieving their physique and aesthetic goals :)))) Hope you all enjoy! Happy Sunday lovers 🖤
EATING DISORDER TRIGGER WARNING In this episode I go into detail about my 20 year battle with disordered eating, mental health, some of the causes behind it and how I eventually overcame it. I talk about how competitive bodybuilding perpetuated (and almost encouraged) the cycle of restricting & bingeing and how I wasn’t able to start my healing journey until I dove into inner shadow work. Shadow work, trauma recovery and healing is not, and will never be a linear journey so I’d encourage us to be a little kinder to others as well as ourselves & to find comfort in the fact that we are never alone in our struggles. We may fall, we may fail, but we are never defeated unless we choose to be. So, choose to keep fighting…. Because you’re worth it. There’s so much more I’d like to talk about surrounding this topic but I thought this would be a good start. I hope you enjoy :)
Allow me to introduce myself— A little snippet into my life journey which started in the land of maple many moons ago, how and when I initially moved to the USA, to Mexico and now back to the US. Ya girl has been EVERYWHERE and idk about you… but I don’t enjoy the process of moving.
