DJ Mabena

DJ Mabena is a South African Club & Radio Dance DJ from Pretoria who is very passionate about the entertainment industry. His been pushing South Africa’s dance music culture genre from 16 October 2018 when he began his career as DJ. He sees himself being locally and internationally booked around the globe pushing the South African dance music culture to many people out there and there is no doubt that he brings heat with his mixing hence he goes by the name DJ Mabena which is a homonym which means fire always burning the decks up when performing.

Among his achievements in his career from being nominated for numerous awards he is amazing to work with and having him at your events which many of the event promoters/hosts that have booked him say that his sets are incredible and the style of djing he brings when entertaining people which sets him apart from other DJs within the industry. Many promoters/hosts enjoy working with him because of the skills and professionalism he has when it comes to the entertainment industry. The DJ says that the only thing that keeps him going and pushing in the entertainment industry as a DJ is staying true to his craft and giving the outmost best at all events that they book him at and embracing the South African dance music culture.

DJ Mabena has pleased many crowds throughout his career as well as playing at venues/events, such as The Gauteng Summer Cup, U-Party SA, and More Entertainment Soft Life events. The DJ has been on stages alongside South Africa’s biggest acts such as Kabza De Small, Major League Djz, TXC, Carpo, Abidoza, J Molley, Timo ODV, Costa Titch, The Big Hash and many more. His earned himself a radio residency gig at Johannesburg’s universities campus radio station UJFM on Wednesdays for the #UJfmDrive Bumper to Bumper Mix.
