On this week's Border Country Sports Podcast with Keith Harrington my guest will be my brother Ken Harrington. Ken works at Bedford High School in New Hampshire and is the junior varsity and varsity assistant boys basketball coach.

Ken will talk about how New Hampshire navigated high school sports in the fall under Covid-19 protocols and how they are doing things this winter. Ken also has professional sports experience with the Carolina Panthers. Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox and NASCAR and will have plenty of stories to share about those experiences.

The Border Country Sports Podcast with host Keith Harrington is a production of Border Country Sports. Border Country Sports is located on the Vermont and New York Border and covers local high sports on both sides of what as known as the Lakes Region area.

Harrington has covered local sports for nearly 35 years. Harrington began his career as the play by play announcer for Lakes Region Radio Sports. He remained one of the play by play announcers for the station until last spring. Harrington is the former part-owner of Adirondack SportsNet. He is also one of the voices of Williams College athletics for the Northeast Sports Network where he calls men's and women's soccer, volleyball men's and women's basketball, men's and women's hockey, softball and baseball.

Harrington has called hundreds of high school sporting events, including several Vermont State Championship games. He has also been the play by play voice for several NCAA Division III NCAA Tournament soccer, basketball and hockey games, along with many NESCAC and NAC playoff games and Final Fours. One of the highlights of his sports broadcasting career was calling the Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game.

Harrington is the former host of the Lakes Region Radio Sports Blog and also is the main sports writer for Manchester Media which include the Granville Sentinel, Whitehall Times, Free Press and Lakes Region Free Press.
