At the crux of life’s major decisions – whether in our career, business, relationships, and personal finance – are our experiences, environment, perspectives, etc. It therefore follows that in arriving at the right decisions, we may require a mindset shift. The goal of these podcasts are to help listeners make informed and excellent life decisions which culminate in a better life. The host, who is a firm believer that our lives are made up of nothing but a collection of the very many decisions we make – consciously and unconsciously – intends to help her listeners make better life decisions.
This episode looks at the role of mothers in bringing forth the best versions of the men we have in our society. Do mothers really have a role to play? Are these roles being played? Could there be rather mischievous reasons why mothers are not playing their roles? Could it be that mothers are simply helpless in the face of societal norms and expectations? A talk on parenting: in the constantly changing world we live in, we may find that some of the principles which our parents used to bring us up may no longer be relevant or may require some tweaking, and so we sometimes struggle with parenting. As our children grow up, we want them to grow into intelligent, independent beings, but we often struggle with how much freedom we should give them. As we strive to find the right balance, we sometimes wonder if we are giving our children too much freedom, or too little. Too much freedom exposes them to unnecessary dangers that they are not prepared to handle, while too little turns them into weak, introverted, needy personalities who cannot function optimally in the larger society. This is a special episode which looks at an event - the funeral of Obi Cubana's mother - which took place in Nigeria about a couple of weeks ago. All listeners may relate to the lessons highlighted here, but this episode may particularly strike a chord with Nigerians all over the world, as it points out lessons I learnt from Obi Cubana, who recently took the Nigerian social media by storm.

We all have dreams that we wish would come true. But it is said that if wishes were horses, even beggars would ride. This podcast encourages us to have the right mindset, attitude, habits, that make us dream chasers - people who are intentional about making their dreams come true. So, I urge you to listen and become a dream chaser, and not merely a wishful thinker.
Being able to work hard is really great, but there is just so much that hard work alone can do. The kind of interactions we have with God and with other people, is sometimes just as important - if not more - as how hard we work. These interactions influence the success or otherwise of our careers, relationships, and social networks.
In the fast changing world that we live in, change is no longer an option, if we intend to survive and even flourish. This episode tells us how to anticipate, identify and profile change, with particular reference to our decisions in career, education and skill-sets. Every change has its upside and its downside; what is required is that we learn how to identify the upside and make it an opportunity, instead of a threat.
The world is fast changing and everywhere we look at, seems to be a blur of movements. We however, cannot afford to move - whether its a new career, a new relationship, a new business - just because others are moving. If our movement doesn't bring us closer to our goal, then we might as well remain still.
