The Hill Church is a church in Fayetteville, AR that exists to glorify God through transforming our community with the truth and beauty of Christ.
Many Christians struggle with prayer due to busy schedules or a lack of desire for it. The problem is that we often see prayer as a duty instead of a delight. In this sermon we begin our new series on PRAYER by focusing on the object of our prayer and spend some time praying for our Church and our City.
The King has come, and He will come again. This is the hope and eager expectation of Advent, a Latin word which means “coming” or “arrival.” Advent is a time when we take a close look at the coming of Jesus Christ in humility as a baby and anticipate His future second coming in glory. It’s a time for watching and waiting and remembering and rejoicing in God’s fulfilled promise of the Savior.

The book of Acts tells the story of a group of people who fell so in love with Jesus they were compelled to change the way they lived and to go to the world about Him. From its inception, the church has been a missional movement, and the book of Acts challenges us to keep the same trajectory of declaring the goodness to Christ to lost and broken creation. This is our mission, the only question is, how will you respond?

The three greatest questions that everyone asks are “Who am I?”, “Where do I belong?”, and “What am I created to do?” For our summer sermon series we will be studying the book of Ephesians and how the Gospel is the source for our identity, belonging and calling by Gods grace and redemption through Jesus.
