Join Balen (a spiky dwarf), Pankus (a creepy warlock), and Rock (a free-wheeling soldier) as they travel around the world with the task of completing “easy” side-missions, earning their guild some quick cash. Although they comply, they rarely make it easy for themselves, and they really see this as an opportunity for their own agenda: to expand their startup Windcroak Manor guild. With two thief captives from The Split, Rock, Balen, and Pankus arrive at The Great Fortune Plaza of Acline, riding on their hill giant ally, Jerry. They continue their search of a gnome named Plink, who could possibly help them figure out the source of their mysterious amulet they got off of Jerry.

Pankus, Balen, and Rock travel across the ocean and arrive in Acline. When they get to the inn and ask to meet the owner, something unexpected happens.
