After speaking with Haurchefant and being asked to help, yet again, Shadow is off to find some important information for him. I wonder where the very cold road will lead us next....

The story really starts to come together as we near the end of A Realm Reborn. Some of my favourite scenes will be coming up in the very near future :)

After a fairly east battle against Titan, it's back to business as usual....

Shadow returns to the Waking Sands to find destruction. It seems the Scions of the Seventh Dawn have had
company. Unwelcomed company. Upon entering, he's effected by aether and has flashbacks to what actually
went down with his friends. It seems Livia sas Junius has made her way in to speak to Minfillia and
have taken her hostage.

After that, it's off to help our familiar (we'll soon see his true identity) friend in Western Thanalan
with an unusual task of .... gathering dead bodies. Yup. I said it.

That familiar friend I talked about? That's Cid! We get to know him a lot in the next coming cut scenes.

Thanks for watching :)

Progressing through the storyline. In this video, Shadow and Y'shtola head towards a fight that is called
The Navel where we fight Titan. This is one of my favorite fights - it's just fun.

We head right into Brayflox's Longstop. It's a dungeon and relatively easy with a party that knows what
they are doing! In this dungeon, there are three main boss fights. The first one is with Inferno Drake, then
we take on Hellbender until he bails on us and we continue on to the final boss, Aiatar.

After the dungeon, it's back to Wheiskaet to deliver items to him that we aquired along the way.

We'll pick back up in the next video :)

We're continuing our MSQ journey after a couple of months off.

I appreciate your patience - long story short, my husband contracted COVID-19 and because he is diabetic, it hit
him harder than most and he ended up in the ICU. I'm happy to report that he's home now and doing very well,
thank God.

So now, I have time to continue my fun journey of sharing the main story quest in Final Fantasy 14!

In this video, Shadow & Y'shtola (my favorite character!) are dealing with a guy named Wheiskaet. He sends us
on some test quests to see if we're ready for the challenge that is coming our way...

...the Brayflox Longstop dungeon!

In between all of that, I throw some job quests in to get new skills. In the next video, we hit the dungeon!

It's dungeon time! I remember when I first started playing this game, every time I got to a dungeon, I'd get so nervous; especially as a tank or a healer because I didn't want to mess up!

I've completed as far as the expansions go on my main character and anyone that has done that will understand how freaking simple these low level dungeons really are compared to what you face later in the game.

For that reason, I'll definitely be opening up some DPS jobs to level quickly because I'm nowhere near skilled enough to main heal the later dungeons!

That's a really long winded way of saying how refreshing and fun it is for me to play these dungeons and we've arrived at my favorite one of all...Haukke Manor.

I should say that it was my favourite BEFORE the last couple of updates where they revamped the low level dungeons to make them a bit more efficient and user friendly; but it's still fun!

Also, I run through this years Moonfire Event for 2022.

Mayaru Moyaru is perched in his usual spot in the Aftcastle, quivering with excitement to tell you all about this year's festivities. Prepare to dive is the theme...as you'll see!

The rewards are a pretty sweet glamour outfit that I put on after :)

It's been a minute! Feels like it's been forever since I have uploaded anything...but I'm back, again. Continuing

the main story quest of Shadow. We're still in a Realm Reborn series.

In this video, it's simply just pushing along in the MSQ storyline.

We break in the middle to unlock Chocobo Raising and then jump right back into the story.

Thanks for watching! Much more to come....!

Continuing to work on job quests leads us into a fight called Seer Folly. It's one step closer to becoming White Mage! I know it's old school but it's my favorite healing job in the game.

White Mage unlocked!!

Then we head back to Vesper Bay to speak with Minfillia and on the way, look who it is....

...that bratty kid Alphinaud! Little do we know, he's about to be in our lives a LOT more moving forward. Plus he grows on you after awhile...

Also in this video, we unlock PVP and Raids. PVP is a whole other beast that I am only now starting to appreciate. At first try, I wanted to cry. It made zero sense. I kept at it though and now I actually sort of somewhat enjoy it. Don't tell my husband....it's his favorite. :D

In this video, Shadow is on the journey towards the next dungeon called Toto-Rak. Before heading into it, he needs to work on some job quests in order to acquire new and stay up to date with new skills! His next job quest after this will allow him to turn from a mere Conjuror to a White Mage. Exciting stuff.

Onto Toto-Rak. I head into this dungeon with my household. Skyler Rose is my mother in law and Myethox is my husband (he's the reason I am hooked on this game!)

Enjoy and thanks for watching :)

In this video, we are sent to Hawkers Alley to talk to Baensyng. He sends us on a delivery run to Kyokyoroon for information but before he will trust us, we have to offer him a fresh egg!

After that, we are on the boat to Aleport. We are required to run through it to arrive in Upper La Noscea. Thankfully we have our trusty Chocobo!

When we arrive, we meet with Teteroon who is hesitant to trust us but reluctantly agrees. He needs our help though, so being the adventurer in need, we of course help him!

After accomplishing our tasks with him, we return to Buscarron who obviously has more work for us; this time involving the Sylph's. We head to investigate specific areas and find ourselves in a solo fight called Nouveau Riche aka New Money!

Dance Dance Diplomacy!

In order to get them to trust Shadow, he must perform a dance...after meeting their requirements, the Sylph's finally believe that Shadow is someone they can work with.

Back to the MSQ grind...

After a lengthy meeting with our friends in Waking Sands, we head out to the Shrouds and try to ascertain how to handle the Sylphs.

We don't actually unlock this beast tribe until much later on in the story. Here we just learn about who they are as we grind towards the next dungeon...

Shadow has yet to make his decision. Before he has to, we're privileged enough to listen in on a rather snarky conversation between Alphinaud and Alisaie...note my sarcasm! Things get heated between them though and they end up parting ways...

Shadow has decided to join the ranks in Gridania by joining The Order of the Twin Adder. The reason I picked it is because Gridania is where Shadow is from so it only makes sense to stick with his home land.

Immediately after arriving to the grand company headquarters, Shadow is given his first assignment. We are headed to Nine Ivies to determine the fate of the airship and its crew. We run into Biggs as well as some other soldiers and the battle begins!

After successfully winning the solo fight and returning to the headquarters, Shadow is awarded his first rank up in the company. He's now Serpent Private Third Class

Next, we have a small quest to complete to FINALLY unlock the ability to ride mounts. No more running across the maps on feet! Now, we run on Chocobo feet!

Shadow has named his Chocobo "Jasper" and he is ready to go. Next, we learn to fly....

After that, he's headed back to Waking Sands to report to Minfilia. Biggs and Wedge arrive to thank Shadow personally and continue to work with him to still try and figure out who this mystery priest is....

Thanks for checking out my post!

It all comes down to this....

Shadow has been invited to the Remembrance Ceremony in Limsa Lominsa, Ul'dah and Gridania where he must make a decision on which Grand Company he would like to join.

His choices?

The Maelstrom (Limsa Lominsa)

The Immortal Flames (Ul'dah)

The Order of the Twin Adder (Gridania)

We're followed around by two rather annoying characters (I promise they become less annoying as the story progresses!) of the Elezen race. They seem to think they know everything...but they become pretty key parts of the storyline moving forward!

They do, however, give Shadow some decent insight on each Grand Company and what they represent which should help him make a decision in the next video!

In this video, we enter into a trial fight as part of the main story quest, called "Bowl of Embers" where we fight Ifrit, Lord of the Inferno.

In this fight, when he reaches 50% on his health bar, he summons the Infernal Nail which you have to kill quickly or else it causes a large amount of damage. Other then that, it's a lot of dodging and not a difficult fight for most players.

After the fight, we head back to Waking Sands to speak with Minfilia who tells us that because of our success, we've been invited to join the three Grand Companies. A decision to be made very soon!

Thanks for watching!

In this video, there is a lot of MSQ grinding. Along the way, head back to Vespor Bay to unlock the ability to apply glamour plates & also to dye our clothing.

Anyone familiar with this game knows that glamour is the key essential to becoming your authentic self in the game! It allows you to keep your skilled armor on while using "glamour" to mirror towards a completely different outfit. It's a lot of fun!

We head to Camp Drybone to work with Thancred to help identify who this mysterious priest is.... in order to do that, we have to dress in "common clothes" and lure him out.

(Screenshot)

That leads us into the fight called "Lord of the Inferno" - not exactly easy as a conjurer with NPC's but I mulled through it LOL

In this video, we go right into a solo fight in the main story quest called "Into A Copper Hell" where we save a distraught woman being falsely accused of crimes from an obnoxious merchant and his bodyguards.

It leads us into flashbacks that tell the history of Ul'dah and the destruction of the calamity on it's surrounding cities. Much like everywhere else they are dealing with work shortages, housing refugees, government interference and just trying to survive!

We then head to Waking Sands in Vesper Bay to meet Tataru. She sends us downstairs to meet the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. They become key characters and allies as we adventure on!

Until next time....

In this video, we've finally arrived at our first dungeon - Sastasha. Immediately following that, after a few cut scenes, we're right into dungeon number two - Tam Tara Deepcroft.

Since one of the last updates, they've made some changes to how these lower level dungeons are run. They streamlined a lot of it so it's way less repetitive. I personally am a fan of these changes.

Another change that they made was the ability to run these dungeons with NPC's. A lot of people feel it takes away from the whole point of MMO style games but here is my reason why I like it - sometimes its an ridiculously long wait to feel a party, depending on the time of the day. This gives you the opportunity to progress in the game and that is exactly what I did in this video. After waiting for 35 minutes, I just went ahead with the NPC's. Is it as much fun? No. But when you're impatient or on limited time, it's a great backup plan!

I hope to mostly run dungeons with my free company "M&M's" but when you can't get the people together, you roll with it! :D

Thanks for watching my videos and reading my posts!

In this video, Shadow is dressed in his best glamour, and headed to be the Emissary at a very special event from a personal invite from Kan-E-Senna herself!

Something pretty bizarre happens when Shadow has a flashback to the calamity, much to the surprise of Kan-E-Senna. Could this be...? Could the power of the echo reside with Shadow?

After this rather exhausting experience, before he knows it, its the next day and he's in a room at the inn! Mother Miounne sends Shadow back to speak to the Elder Seedseer and she sends us off via the airship to Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah where we meet with their leaders.

In this video, we're continuing to work through of level 15 job quest and it brings us to the fight "Trial by Water".

After that, we're continuing on the MSQ train where we deliver Mother Miounne's letter to Lewin. After we complete some simple tasks, we're onto the fight "To Guard A Guardian" where we have to defeat the Ixal and then the Masked Mage.

Because of that valiant effort & victory, we a greeted by a very special person called Kan-E-Senna, the Elder Seedseer of Gridania. She's come to invite Shadow to be Emissary at Greenbliss.

For whatever reason...my last video would not upload. I've been trying for 24 hours...but it was a solo fight with some cut scenes with Papalymo and Yda. It was a battle called Spirithold Broken. We also unlocked battle leves & district housing. So giving up on that video and moving forward...here's the next one!

In this video, it's more of the MSQ grind. Shocking, I know. Haha...but we do our first leve and we're working towards the first dungeon!

In this video it's mostly just more MSQ grind. It's long road ...

We're in Central Shroud and have officially attuned there so now teleport is unlocked.

Working our way towards the first dungeon which should be fun. To be honest, healing is my least favorite job but I always start with the ones I don't like (or am not that good at if I'm being real haha) so that I can a) practice them and b) get them out of the way!

Anyone else that plays FFXIV - what's your favorite job?

I think machinist is the most fun to play but I'm a little ways from unlocking that one! :)

PS. Sorry for the random spots where I'm messing around in the settings. When you start a new character, your settings default and I wasn't smart enough to save them but I am slowly getting them back to where I am comfortable playing. :)

View Details

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jangle/cegyhzzm

Continuing work on the main storyline, I hit a point where I ran out of gil and needed to upgrade my gear. As you can see, you start out with very little and every teleport costs gil. So needless to say the side quest grind begins! It's tedious work and I think every player complains but secretly loves it ;)

In this much longer video, Shadow approaches his first solo fight (Chasing Shadows) and in the cut scenes, he meets new characters, who's names are introduced in later cut scenes. We also meet Hydaelen.

Working on job quests as well to acquire skills. The job quests are every 5 levels at this stage in the game and its a good idea to stay on top of them before you approach dungeons or you may not have the right skills available to survive it.

Thanks for watching!

Shadow continues to work on his Conjurer job quests.

Hunt Logs are unlocked and we work on those as we find them. Those are the enemies that have a gold target above their head. Completing it is just for achievement purposes. The main jobs each have their own hunt log and then when you join a grand company they have their own to complete. It's a nice way to grab extra XP along the way.

Also acquired a bunch of minions and mounts from Square Enix for being a member for so long. We can't use those now but it won't be long until that feature is unlocked. Other than that it's just the hustle and grind of an adventurer and working a little on MSQ (main story quest).

It's no longer all about you.

The hardest part of my journey with Jesus was (and sometimes still is) this right here. It is no longer about YOU. It is now all about God. When you are not living a life FOR God, you're living it for yourself. That means you're serving yourself and putting everything first before Him. All the things of the world have one purpose and that is to serve US and all our earthly desires. They drive us away from God, when used incorrectly. When you come to know Jesus, that changes drastically. You no longer have a desire to put things of this world first. Your desire becomes about serving God. Period.

But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s." - Mark 8:33

God's love is so big there are no words to describe it.

We limit ourselves. It's our nature. Our brains can only comprehend so much before we start to think, "That's not even possible" or "How can that be?"; but with God, ALL things are possible. His forgiveness, love, grace, mercy...they know no bounds. And He loves us SO much. More than we'll ever understand.

I have a distinct memory from when I was in the hospital after my third daughter was born. It was late in the night and it was just her and I in the room and as I held this tiny little human in my arms, this person that I had created, I just started to weep. I knew in that moment that I loved her so much, that my heart felt like it was going to burst. How could I love her anymore? It felt impossible.

God loves us more! How cool is that?

Salvation is only through the work of Jesus Christ.

This is the most important thing to learn and understand. There is absolutely nothing you can do to earn your salvation. There is NOTHING you can do to add to what Jesus did on that cross. Jesus paid it all. He gave His life to cover our sins by dying on the cross and then He said, "It is finished." Why did He say that? Because it is finished.

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, to fulfill the Scripture, said, “I am thirsty.” A jar full of sour wine was standing there; so they put a sponge full of the sour wine upon a branch of hyssop and brought it up to His mouth. Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit. - John 19:30

The word in this verse, “finished,” is actually from the Greek word, “tetelestai,” which is the same word that means “paid in full.” There is nothing left to be done to earn our salvation. All we have to do is believe in Him, repent and turn from away from our sins. The rest?

It. Is. Finished.

Perhaps Christian's really are crazy...to count it all joy during suffering? What? That seems a little cray cray!

David reminds us that we have a God who we can turn to in times of trouble. That no matter what the circumstance is or how big the mountain seems, our God is bigger!

Now THAT is something to celebrate, isn't it?

View Details

https://3speak.tv/watch?v=jangle/dinldlfe

The saddest thing to me is when I see people walk away from their faith and turn their backs on a most loving God because they have a misunderstanding of scripture. There is no "right way" to be a "perfect" Christian. In fact, there is NO SUCH THING!

The Bible says that we ALL fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23).

In this video, I share my thoughts on what it means to walk in the Spirit and how we as believers are REALLY different from those that don't believe...

Spoiler alert - it all comes down to Jesus!

He has made everything beautiful in its time.Ecclesiastes 3:11

O, how great Thou art!

Sometimes the beauty of a moment can take your breath away. I love that. That happened to me last night as I was walking down by the shore at almost sunset. I like to think of it as God waving to me saying, "Hello! Enjoy this moment. Look around you! Be joyful!"

It causes me to stop and simply say, "Thank You, God. Thank You for the air in my lungs. Thank You for allowing me to present in this beautiful moment. Thank You for the blessings. Thank You for all of your creation. All glory and praise to You!"

I absolutely love living on Prince Edward Island. Especially in the Summer months when the majestic beauty of this land comes alive. The red cliffs in contrast with the bright blue sky. The fluffy marshmallow clouds I used to think that I could sit on when I was a child. It's breath taking. If you've never experienced an East Coast sunset, you should definitely give it a gander. I highly recommend the shores of Prince Edward Island as a starting point. The people here aren't so bad either....just saying! ;)

For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible.Colossians 1:16

Have a blessed day!

How can we start this series any other way other than to celebrate and be thankful for Jesus?

*He is our Lord.

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life!*

Salvation is not found by anything we do or say but by what Jesus has done for us on the cross. Therefore, He is essential to us as Christians!

We should be forever grateful to Jesus and thankful for His grace, mercy and for loving us enough to die for our sins.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

You're alive!

Moments of gratitude matter. Aside from the fact that it's important to stop and acknowledge all that God has given us, that's not the only benefit that having an attitude of gratitude can offer. Allowing yourself to see your many blessings and focusing on them more, can really transform your entire perspective.

I know for some it's not easy right now. This isn't an attempt to downplay your situation at all because I have never walked in your shoes. I can only speak from my own experiences and I can say that I have been in some real dark places inside my mind. Paralyzing places that almost took over until I accepted Christ.

By God's grace and a lot of hard work on my end, I've overcome a lot of those battles. I know you can too!

Just stop what you are doing right now and take a moment to breathe.

Plant your feet firmly on the ground (try it outside for the best effect so you're really attuned to the earth), take a deep, slow breath in and exhale slowly and thank God that you're alive. You have air in your lungs. A heart that beats. No matter what your circumstance, God is bigger.

He can and will see you through it! All you have to do is ask Him.

You're alive!

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians on Hive!

I am so truly blessed to be part of this fantastic community on Hive! I am honored to be here and can't wait to see where we can drive this machine.

The year 2020 has not been without it's challenges. That's probably putting it mildly for many. There is deep turmoil in the world and people suffering tremendous loss. It's easy to lose focus on anything that's remotely positive.

Yet still, there is comfort in the idea that, this year especially, I know that I am not alone when I am feeling the stress and struggles of those challenges because this is a global pandemic and everyone is feeling it's impacts. We're really in this together! You're not alone either. I hope you can find comfort in that when you feel like it's all a bit too much.

Sometimes, it's just about perspective. It can ALWAYS be worse. We are blessed in many ways and on Hive, we're a community that cares. It truly is a blessing to be here and I just wanted to give a quick shout out to YOU and tell you that I am super thankful to have you (my readers) in my life.

Even though the present is a little bleak, I know the future is bright! Let's rock!

Sometimes, all we need to do is get the heck out of our own way, buckle down and get to work. Some random thoughts on my ah ha moments I had on this very subject. I am curious on your thoughts too!

Even when we feel like giving up or giving in to the all the roadblocks life likes to throw our way, it's important to continue to stay the course. Sometimes it feels like all we can do is crawl...just keep moving! It doesn't always have to be pretty (this video is evidence of that). I think it's important to continue to make an effort though. Here are my thoughts on this .... or, rather, really tired ramblings! :D

Thanks for giving it a listen!

Check out @pixiepost new series called Empowerment Through Anxiety. It's a fantastic series so far and in this episode she talks about Physical Presence and the effects anxiety can have on us physically.

Life is messy and hard at times but yesterday I had my "ah ha" moment when Jon and Blain reminded us that nothing else matters sometimes as long as we continue to show up every single day.

Continuing to do that puts us ahead of the game because most people WON'T show up.

Thanks for riding out my messy emotional funk with me and for those that reached out, I love you all!

It speaks volumes to this @clicktrackprofit community and the amazing members within it who genuinely care if others not only succeed on a professional level but that that are thriving in every aspect of this wonderful ride we call life! :D

In this video, I discuss where my heads at, why I needed to hear what Jon and Blain said last night at Thursday Night Live (check out by clicking here) and that you're not alone if you're feeling this way too!
