The devil has been portrayed in many ways, all of which have contributed to how we see him. But how does Jesus see him? What is his intent?
The Centrality of our Identity (Matthew 3:13-4:11) - The narratives of Jesus' baptism and temptation are best read together. As we read them as one, there is one powerful thread that shines through: What Jesus is affirmed in by the Father is the very thing that he is tested in by the accuser.
(Matthew 3:1-12) - John the Baptist comes onto the scene preaching the kingdom of God and repentance, all pointing to the one who was the true King.
