In honor of Mother's Day, I decided to share a few things I've learned on this new journey!
The healing journey that is put on display isn't the same one that you go through. Let's be real healing sucks and finding oneself is hard. Feeling like you've backtracked or haven't made enough progress is discouraging. You are not alone and remember bay steps are still steps!
There's a saying that goes " as long as I have my life I can't complain" and there is truth behind that statement. Gratitude. A little goes a long way especially when it doesn't seem as so.
Striving for "perfection" is an unattainable goal. Often times by striving to such a degree unintentionally may cause you to set yourself up for failure. This failure will do nothing more then further contribute to the personal hell for ourselves that we may create.
