Summer has been renovating the Hut in preparation for Technically Creative's new human torpedo experience.
She reveals what's been found in the depths of the archives and what she’s excited to display to the public - including a tin bath!

Now you've got no excuse... We've let Summer out of the archive to tell us more behind the scenes bits and how you can get involved with the workshops!
Meet some of the museum’s volunteers who have been essential in keeping the site running and looking great! Leigh is our resident gardener who knows all there is to know about keeping the Dig for Victory going (and rabbit free!), Brian works within our Heritage Restorations department which is a volunteer group restoring the vehicles we have on site. Then we have Gareth who is a living history re-enactment volunteer, along with Karl, an aspiring volunteer!
They both enjoy demonstrating weapons with the East Yorkshire Regiment Living History Group, showcasing uniforms and talking to the families/schools on anything WW2. You can meet the volunteers on site at our Living History Weekend this August Bank Holiday!
We’re excited to be joined by Rocky and James from Be Amazing Arts to shout about the next collaborative performance at Eden Camp.
Some of you may have seen last summer’s project at Eden Camp where James hurdled some new production challenges and Rocky’s creative skills were put to the test transforming some wartime love letters into the sweetheart’s story of love, loss, and perseverance, Letters From Betty.

The Raid on Scarborough, Hartlepool and Whitby on 16 December 1914 was an attack by the Imperial German Navy on the British ports of Scarborough, Hartlepool, West Hartlepool and Whitby, without planning and warning.
