Hosted by Eli Siltanen and Chris Ajose-Nixon. We’ll make an episode every week in which we’ll talk about basketball and other sports. On the pod, we’ll also cover F1, football, baseball, soccer, and more.
In this episode, we discuss what we feel projections should be for some of the top players this year in Fantasy Football and some potential sleeper/breakout players. We then moved to talk about NBA players participating in ProAms during the off-season and what it means for players and fans. To wrap up the episode, we recapped the first 3 weeks of games in the Premier League and what those results mean for the table both now and in the future.
For our first guest on the podcast, we had Chris' brother Drew join us. With Drew, we covered the Hungarian Grand Prix and provided a recap of the first half of the F1 season as a whole and what to expect in the second half of the season as well as the following year in terms of driver lineups. We then talked about the MLB trade deadline and what certain moves may mean for the lingering playoff hopes of teams. Lastly, we talked about even more drama surrounding NBA star Kevin Durant and what potential outcomes could exist for this dilemma the Brooklyn Nets are in.
This week we cover the French Grand Prix Race and what the results may mean for the rest of the Formula 1 season. Next, we discuss free agency rumors and possible trade destinations for NBA players. Finally, we continue our talk from last week about the Madden player ratings, as they have now all been released.
In this episode, we turn to sports other than those we usually discuss. We begin by talking about the Homerun Derby and the winner, Juan Soto's, contract situation. Then we move to talking about the conclusion of the Summer League and the situation with Deandre Ayton's contract. Finally, we discuss the newly released Madden 23 ratings for Tight Ends and Wide Receivers and what we agree with versus what we'd change.
After not mentioning the NBA in our previous episode, we thought we'd treat you all to an entire episode dedicated STRICTLY to the NBA. We cover everything that has happened so far this offseason. This includes our draft and summer league reactions, as well as the always entertaining period of the offseason, free agency.
After a two-week break, we are BACK IN ACTION. This episode is the first of two to come this week as a reward for patiently waiting for our return. In this episode, we focused on the two Formula One races (Silverstone and Austria) that took place since our last episode and the recent drama around college athletic conferences and schools moving to new conferences for many reasons. Be on the lookout later this week for the second episode drop of the week which will cover all things NBA since we took our break!
In this episode, we begin with a recap of the Canadian Grand Prix and what we think will come during the rest of the Formula 1 season. Next, we discuss the wrap-up of this year's NBA Finals and season as a whole. Lastly, we give some potential insight into this year's NBA Draft, talk about the recently surfaced Kyrie Irving trade rumors, and give our own "way too early 2023 NBA contenders" picks.
To start out in this episode, we touch on the conclusion of the Women's College World Series for softball as well as the now fully set field of 8 teams for the Men's College World Series for baseball. We then move into talking about another chaotic weekend of Formula 1 racing as well as what is to come this coming weekend with yet another race scheduled. Finally, we recap Games 3-5 and everything in between as well as talk about what critics have to say about the Warriors and about the Finals MVP race.
We begin today's episode by talking about the MLB season so far, including the dominance of LA and NY as powerhouse baseball cities and rising rookie talents. We then cover the Women's College World Series and talk about Oklahoma's phenomenal year from top to bottom on the roster sheet. Lastly, we give our thoughts and takes on Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics as well as where the series could potentially be headed if things continue the way they are.
Today we discuss all the blunders and twists of the Monaco Grand Prix from this past weekend and we touch on the conclusion to a great year of European football. Then, we recap the WCF and ECF matchups as well as our now NBA Finals matchup of Celtics vs. Warriors and give our thoughts and predictions.
