Church at the bar is a place where we meet people where they are! We talk about EVERYTHING in the name of Jesus, because Jesus is for EVERYONE...EVERYWHERE!! Ever went to your favorite bar and poured your heart out to the stranger next to you? ever went to your local church and didn't feel comfortable doing the same thing? Ever wished they would keep it a little more real at church? This show is for you!
If your are anywhere online you have most likely heard the term, "Kingdom marriage" or "Twin Flame." These are two very different titles used to describe what is essentially the same thing: an experience with a once in a lifetime love! More than what is described in books and movies, this type of experience is extremely sweet but also extremely bitter at times. If you experience it too early in life, it can be very difficult because absolutely NOTHING else compares!!! This journey is often very difficult to get advice and support about because it is often not a journey that many have traveled. In this episode minister Jamie Knight interviews L. Sweet who shares his experience on this journey. Not considering himself a christian, L. Sweet and minister Jamie do their best to explain this unforgettable spiritual love journey!
Church At The Bar will be going on vacation! Episodes will resume in late July!
Happy Father's Day! On this father's day my family and I are still mourning the loss of our beloved father, James Robert "Sugarman" Knight, who danced into glory last year, June 25, 2021. The grieving process has really just begun, my brother, James, and I still wanted to honor hour father in glory. In this episode we talk about accepting death as a believer, grieving and the entire process of losing a parent. We dedicate this show to all those who have lost a parent , as well as to the memory of our beloved Arthur Raymond Murray. Happy Father's Day! If your father is alive, cherish him!

Marriages in 2022 are ending left and right. One big issue in a marriage is "who comes first?" Often parents and siblings have an issue stepping aside and giving the new spouse the respect that the bible says they deserve because, "they were around first!"The bible tells us that when we get married we are supposed to leave our family and join with or "cleve to" our spouse (Genesis 2:24). So why do we have such an issue with this?

Part 2 of our discussion about submission in 2022. The bible tells Christian couples to submit to one another (Ephesians 5:21). Often in church when we talk about submission, there is a concentration on women submitting. With this in mind we posed the question : Why is submission hard in 2022? Trust issues are real! The bible tells us to trust God and not our own understanding (Proverbs 5:6), If it were that easy, however, no one would have trouble trusting. We all have what we believe to be valid reasons not to be free with our trust, but living a life that filled with fear only prevents us from really living! Since we know based on the bible that the Lord Jesus Christ came so that we could live life more abundantly (John 10:10), we wanted to pose the question :What would Jesus say about our trust issues?
Happy Mother's Day!!!!!
The bible tells us to honor our mother and father that our days shall be long upon the land the the Lord God gives us (Exodus 20:12). Although it tells us to honor both mother and father, today we will honor all of the mothers and mother figures because it is mother's day. Whatever your relationship with your mother, there is honor in the fact that she birthed you! So if only for that...respect can be shown :) Today we honor those we call mother with lessons they taught us and funny memories.

The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). In a time where there is so much sexual freedom, one has to wonder: is it really realistic to believe that someone (even a Christian "someone" ) could actually abstain from sex until marriage in 2022? In the 40s, 50s, 60s, perhaps even 70s, this would not be a question! Today, however, less and less people think it is realistic to have a relationship without sex... so how can one be a virgin or practice celibacy present day? Take a listen and find out.
It is said that Love is the highest frequency one can operate from in this life. the Bible tells us that God is love; Love never fails! If we ask most people in relationships today whether this love is strong enough to carry a relationship to the promised land of lifelong commitment or not, many would say, "not!" What do you say? This is a question pondered in a lively discussion with original first lady of Roc A Fella records, minister Jamie Knight; Nurse and spiritist, Crystal Knight; Phrophetess Robin Robinson; Reverend James Mack, and gospel rap sensation, Kyle Alexander.
