Not only has Carol taught countless classes to people of all ages, but her work has also been printed in various Better Homes & Gardens publications in the home decor capacity. She has also had the honor of creating several featured window displays at IKEA Illinois, showcasing her incredible talent.
From 2006 to 2009, Carol studied tailoring and even worked exclusively for men for four years as an independent seamstress and tailor. Her dedication to the craft has even led her to become a socialite ambassador for Janome sewing machines, inspiring others to take up the hobby and pursue their passions.
But perhaps Carol's most cherished project is her son's custom tuxedo suit and tie, which she poured her heart and soul into creating. Through her work and dedication, Carol has become an expert in her field and a true inspiration to others.

She obtained her B.S. in Natural Sciences from Oakwood University and her M.D. degree from Meharry. She completed Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry training at Emory University and is board certified in both specialties. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
Dr. Williamson has provided clinical services in private practice, community mental health, and academic centers, and has taught trainees in multiple disciplines. Her practice approach is holistic. Dr. Williamson’s presentations in community and academic settings include topics regarding spirituality, cultural psychiatry, and telepsychiatry.
She provides psychiatric services at the Lloyd C. Elam Mental Health Center such as psychotherapy, psychiatric evaluations, opioid maintenance treatment, and medication management.
Damon Tweedy, MD is an associate professor of psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine and a staff psychiatrist within the Durham Veteran Affairs Health Care System. He completed both medical school and his specialty training at Duke. He also graduated from Yale Law School.
Within the VA system, he directs a team of mental health providers working across five primary care clinics. At the medical school, he leads a behavioral health seminar for second-year medical students and is a small group leader for another course that introduces medical students to advanced aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. He is also the faculty advisor for the medical student psychiatry interest group.
Dr. Tweedy has written extensively about the intersection of race and medicine, both in academic journals and popular print publications. Robin Kimbrough Hayes was raised in a trailer park in Lexington, Kentucky where she and her mother were the only black people in the trailer park. Realizing greater opportunities were waiting for her Judge Hayes went on to pursue a bachelor's degree from Fisk University in 1992, a J.D. from Emory School of Law in 1995, and a master's degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School in 2000. Her career experience includes working as a chaplain and licensed attorney and now a judge!
