America has a dirty little secret, bullying. According to the National Bullying Prevention Center, one out of every five (20.2%) students report being bullied. 41% of students who reported being bullied at school indicated that they think the bullying would happen again. Bullying is not limited to students. Adults are reporting being bullies in the workplace. People who experience bullying are at increased risk for depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties and suicidal ideation. If you’re experiencing bullying, what should you do?
