a podcast for dreamers and believers that are ready to pray circles, with boldness and specificity, around their lives.
Hi friends!
Welcome back to another week on the circle makers! I have been reflecting over my testimony recently, as I shared it on last week's episode.
The Holy Spirit convicted me of why I hesitated for many years before beginning a relationship with God.
I wanted to share that newly found revelation with you all, and provide you a way to seek healing through forgiveness, for others and yourself.
Please leave a review! It helps others find this platform and hopefully, find encouragement and guidance.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please address them to thecirclemakerspodcast@gmail.com!

Hey friends! I didn't think I would be putting out another episode this week, but I felt I was being called to share my story and why I'm here with you all. I hope you find encouragement in my testimony and feel uplifted walking into the rest of your week.
Feel free to let me know how your prayer lives have been enriched during this time, whether through this podcast or other means. It means a great deal to know how you all are growing in this time.
Please leave a review if you can or feel compelled to. It can help others find this podcast and expand the little community we're building right now.
Also, please be praying over potential guests for this podcast! As I mentioned last week, I am reaching out to people, so ask for God to lead the right people to this little platform.
Have a fantastic week!

First of all - Happy Ash Wednesday!
I was tentative about releasing an episode at this last week, because I again was relying on my own understanding and not God’s. I know that God can use anything for His good and His glory. In this busy season of life, here’s an unscripted, unplanned episode on what I’m walking through, scripture I’m meditating over, and people and things I’m praying over in this season.
If you know of anyone with a heart for prayer, who could provide and share their knowledge with this community, please reach out! Also, I would love to hear how this podcast has served you, what you have discovered during your journey, and how prayer has impacted your life. Please share a review, shoot me an email, or let me know via social media!

Hey all! Last week, there were some disgusting words that left my mouth. I became overwhelmed with shame and guilt. The Lord helped me realize that I was getting caught in a spiral, because of a lack of grace. I touch on how to break that spiral and we can implement a new praying practice: praying through the Bible. God's kindness and grace is enough for us and it's freeee ! Who doesn't love free stuff ?? Send all questions, comments, concerns, fears, jeers, and cheers to rachcaffey@gmail.com.
Today we have Karen Festa joining us for the first interview! Karen is my maternal grandmother. She has been praying circles in her life since she first came to accept Jesus at 6 years old. Karen is originally from Elmhurst, IL and comes from a Swedish lineage. We talk about her father, my great grandpa Dahlstrom, and the prayer legacy he started for our family. I am thrilled to share her story and that she came on for this episode!
Direct any questions, comments, concerns, cheers, and/or jeers to rachcaffey@gmail.com.
After a week of feeling depleted and discouraged, we are BACK and ready to continue the good journey towards enriching our prayer walks and faith lives! I speak a little on where my heart has been in the past few weeks and how God is refueling and renewing me daily.
This episode, I touch on what a "Jericho" is and why Mark Batterson uses that term frequently in his book, The Circle Maker. Then, I go onto discuss the components used to draw a circle in prayer and how that relates to what Mark has shared with us.
Please let me know if you have any prayer requests, concerns, comments, woes, worries, fear, cheers, jeers, and you can direct them to rachcaffey@gmail.com!
I felt I needed to take a week (or two) to delve into praying about our dreams and why we should be praying about our dreams.
I feared praying and actualizing my dreams with God for most of my life.
I feel differently after coming into relationship with Him and getting to know His heart.
My hope for you is to take agency over freely asking Him for your dreams and hopes!
There's so much we gotta talk about, so strap in!! It's going to be an amazing ride!
If you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns, please address them to rachcaffey@gmail.com.
Hi all! I wanted to look at the passages in the Bible where Jesus teaches the disciples to pray. So, we look at Luke 11 and Matthew 6, starting in verse 5. I initially started writing this episode, two to three weeks ago, by going into a theological "dig," you might say. I felt that was veering away from this podcast's initial purpose: prayer.
I feel so encouraged by the way the Holy Spirit led me through this episode and this time, even when I couldn't find the tv remote and God was calling me to spend time with Him instead.
I hope this gives you some direction towards being intentional with your prayers; praying to God instead of AT God.
Next week, we're diving into dreaming big, so get ready! It's going to be enthralling!!
Love you all and I hope you have a splendid week!
Instead of releasing Episode 3 on Wednesday, as I intended to, I am releasing a prayer today over our country.
I felt called to share a few thoughts and then pray. I know there is immeasurable pain people are experiencing now.
Sometimes when we are struggling through unmanageable trauma we need others to pray for us.
I wanted to do that for you today.
I stumble through a thought process for the first few minutes.
Feel free to skip over my thoughts.
Skip to 3:45 to receive reading of Matthew 5:1-12.
Skip to 7:30 to hear Matthew 5:43.
If you are looking to skip to
the prayer itself,
it starts at 12:15.
I love you all.
May God give you peace that defies logic and understanding,
& may we be people who live by the words of Isaiah 1:17 ~
"learn to do good;
seek justice,
correct oppression;
bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow's cause."
Today, I wanted to ease into a simple idea: getting the most out of our prayers through specificity.
I discuss what a " bABy bOtTLe pRaYeR " is and why it's important to be specific with God when praying.
When we set a date with God, when we explicitly state how we want God to meet us, when we stop dancing around the subject with broad asks;
God is able to meet and match your faith in the ask and show you how He's going to bless you through that.
I share a on what I've praying for over my family for the past few months and how I saw God move when I was more detailed with my prayers.
Then, I pray over you all to close us out!
Next week, we'll dig into scripture with how Jesus teaches prayer to the disciples.
I hope you'll join us for the journey!
Welcome to The Circle Makers - a podcast for dreamers and believers that are ready to pray circles, with boldness and specificity, around their lives.
On this episode, I share on why I started this, what is a "circle maker," and a little bit on me and my background. I also share a recent prayer that was answered, in more ways than one, and pray over my listeners before signing off.
I hope you stay for the journey!
