Hello there! "The Fountains of Cathaidra" is a one-on-one Dungeons and Dragons Campaign set in a world recovering from the destructive forces of magic. The story follows Lia Wicker, a musician and scholar, who discovered five years ago she could perform magic and must hide it from society in order to survive. As for the DM and Player, we are Kahner and Miranda, two individuals with a combination of fifteen years of creating narrative content and ten years of Dungeons and Dragons experience. With what is going on in the world, and the shattering of our usual D&D trend, we decided to create this podcast for others to enjoy.

Here it is, the end of Chapter 9!
Hey there it's Kahner,
Chapter 9 is here and boy is it a doozy. It is an hour long, so plenty of cooked content to much upon.
However, at this point this DM is fresh out of ingredients (as written lore.) And I need to head to the market to restock.
Meaning, I need to take some time to flesh out the end game of the story. I'm going to set a possible return date for October, that way I have plenty of time to build new locations and dungeons, plot possible plot points, and lick my wounds. If I have time, Ill post a quick audio about some behind the scenes stuff.

Lia and party get a better lay of the land and strategies how to infiltrate with little resistance.
Finding a waiting roadside ambush, our group decide to use it as a chance to try out their newly acquired skills.
Lia and Kaslan are plopped in the middle of vacant farmland, hoping to meet with Tamara Wicker and locate the next Fountain.
A moment of reprieve or calm before the storm? Lia and Kaslan take a shower and have some coffee, but will they finish their cup before they are after it again? Listen and find out.

With the first obstacle surmounted, Lia and her pocket rogues are ready for the second objective: hoping to infiltrate the manor before a paranoia-fueled noble detects them.
Dinner Approaches! Lia prepares to perform with trusty Kaslan by her side! Can she pull off her culinary cut pursing before one of the most powerful figures in the church becomes aware? Listen and find out...
A Bard performs best when given a stage, and so long as the world continues to be one, a Bard is always at their best.
Reconnaissance and recollection. Lia dives into the mundane to find information long passed over that could help in her heist. Kaslan talks about his feelings.
When it's just us two, sometimes the wagon breaks a wheel.

With a little over two years under our belt, we felt it was the best time to go over the WHOLE story again and sum up the plot in a nice little chaotic hour. A great way for old fans to retrace their steps and for new ones to join in!

After a night of camping, our duo awakens in a batch of thick thick fog. How will a dragon ever find them in this!?
Lia and Jimothy take a risk using questionable teleportation magic to save travel time. Is it even worth it? We shall see!
With a mountain of lore to sift through, Lia and her companions manage to come up with the first step toward completing their new quest.
Greetings! As you can see this week's episode is a little off the beaten path. Miranda and I had to take a short break because of some life events. Don't worry, we will be back on schedule with the next post date. Hope you enjoy this little in between.
Lia finds the means to unlock her next destination. She hopes this time she will finally have answers.
Lia is targeted by an automaton who has listed her for termination. Can she find what she needs before the construct finishes its objective?
Sometimes an audience member is unappreciative of the arts. After her performance, Lia is attacked by a monstrosity that was attracted to the sound. Will she quash the heckler or never perform again?
While hiding from the searching theocracy above, the companions settle into their new underground home and plan an excursion into the foreboding ruins.
An urgent message in the night changes everything for our characters. Will they survive the night?
Unable to sit and wait, Lia sneaks out of her dorm and heads back to the library to perform her own investigation.
Lia seeks comfort and guidance from Prime Regius Thyll as she reveals that her room has been ransacked. Yet this is not the only worry: lightless Voiden beckons the hauntings of stories.
The Festival of Last Light is upon Cathaidra. Lia and Jimothy enjoy the delights before the onset of Voidon, the season of darkness.

Shala and Lia race to save a life from sickness and savages. Can they survive the encounter long enough?
Lia and her new companion make it to town recovering from a supposed Cornerfolk attack. Can the townsfolk trust two outsiders, and vice versa?
Lia keeps a low profile through the season of Hearthen, avoiding unnecessary attention after the events in the center of the map. Academics and music have her complete focus until a suspiciously well-timed newcomer seeks to catch her eye.
Lia returns to Etchings with questions needing to be answered. Her suspicions are proven to be true and new theories are created.
After hiding in broomless closets, fleeing broken janitorial atomotons, befriending a curious spark, and extinguishing an acidic mutated cleaning product Lia must now escape the underground facility before she remains stranded in the wastes of What Once Was.
Finding a new friend with an electric personality, Lia moves on to the last room hoping to finally find a means of escape.

We are the Bountiful Bards, published author Kahner C. Calloway and editor extraordinaire Miranda HP. Together we have ten years of Dungeon and Dragons experience and fifteen years of narrative design. Because of the restrictions of the last year, the two of us decided to sit down and play our own home-brewed game of Dungeons and Dragons. We hope you enjoy it with us.
