A podcast on collecting and editing the weird and wonderful traditions, folkore, superstitions from Romania as I weave them into a written atlas of human geography.
It's been a very long time, almost two years, since the last time I recorded an episode. No, the book isn't finished and I have been thinking more and more about transforming my journal blog into a short collection of stories instead. I'm still not sure how to proceed but I am sure that other things have taken priority over my creative writing and that makes me sad.
It's been a long while but I'm back with an update, not what you expect probably but let's hope it'll be better from now on, am back to writing this book even though life has gone in the way, have some great ideas and enthusiasm to get started with writing again! I got this, I think 🤔
Finally got to finish a first draft of the first chapter, this focuses on January and all the holidays, traditions and superstitions or legends linked to this month in Romanian folklore! I'll be reading one of my favourite parts during this episode!
