Amidst the flurry of the season, God invites us this Advent season to rest in a greater story which has been unfolding since creation. The story of God and His people - how God has been Present with His people, how He has been Faithful to His promises, and how He has Committed to Bless the world and save it. And, how all of these stories have been pointing to the fulfillment of every promise, the Faithful One born to Save the world - Jesus Christ .
In looking at the differences between the books of 1 & 2 Kings and 1 & 2 Chronicles, we see that how we tell our stories matters. Some sound the warning bells...others give hope. How we tell our stories has the same effect!
