David Jackson and Travis Layne faced our moderator panel's questions at the newspapers debate in anticipation of the August 4 county general election. Moderator panel was composed of Charlie McEntyre, Iva Michelle Russell, and Isiah Robinson. Derik has been a friend of the area for a few years. He still declares one of his favorite shows was when he played the Princess Theatre in South Pittsburg and hopes in a post COVID world he gets to play it again.  
Derik talks about what's going on and his winning the Favorite Comedian in the Branson, MO community twice for his work on the Dolly Parton Stampede. He also talks about the need to force yourself to take a break and just "be" while the show takes a normal hiatus for most of the first quarter.
