Sugey and Orlando talk about the ups and downs that some of our parents went through when our schools shut down nationwide.As per survey results, around 33% of parents expressed concern over the effectiveness of online learning and how a virtual learning environment might be hampering their child's ability to be competitive in the future. Also, 36% of parents were worried about the long-term psychological impact of online learning on their children.
Dr. Selma Koc Vonderwell is an associate professor of educational technology.
Her research interests include online learning and assessment, web 2.0, technology planning, and integration in K-12 and higher education.
