Welcome To Australia

Come and join us as we walk along the New South Wales and Victoria boarder. The Australian bushland consists of gum trees that are evergreen providing shelter all year round.

despite it being winter right now, walking within the tree line actually has quite a lot of warmth held within it.

unlike other areas that can be barron and open planes. The land around the Murray River is dense forest with an abundance of wild life.

while we didn't see any kangaroos or Emus, they would be around hiding in the distance. you're more likely to see them in the early hours of the morning or at dusk.

Australia also has a lack of any predators which makes it one of the safest places to explore. also down south you don't need to worry about crocodiles as the weather is too cold and waterways are filled with edible fish minus the introduced carp.

we do have a lot of deadly snakes but they're not really aggressive and tend to run away from you.

emus and roos can become aggressive and male roos when in breeding season are known to stalk human woman. so look out ladies.

overall, Australia is a great nation and one of the safest on the planet.

come walk with us as we explore Australia

Beef Burgers Just Like The Shop But Better

Hi Home Edders! it has been a while since I posted not because I don't have love for you all, but because I ended up putting my kids in school due to work and life commitments. But I am thinking about popping in from time to time with the home education that we do still do at home that school won't cover.

Lately it has been all about cooking and I really want to pass that knowledge and information onto my children so they have basic life skills. Today's recipe is Beef Burger Patties!

If you're an older millennial you'll have a distent memory of the old school fast food burgers which are way different today. Growing up, I remember the juicy flavorful patties of the 80s and 90s before everything changed for cost cutting measures.

Those burgers were simple but packed with flavor and today I am going to show you how to make those old school burgers!

As always getting my kids involved in the kitchen is always a fun and messy adventure. They love hands on cooking and making burger patties from scratch was the perfect activity that also teached them valuable life skills.

The ingredients used were:

800grams beef 30/70 ratio
Orgegano (this is optional)
Bread crumbs (I used Panko)
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Worcestershire sauce
MSG
1 Egg
Tomato Sauce

These basic ingredients will provide you a world filled with flavour and while I cooked them on the stove, you can opt for an outdoor grill or bbq so that fat drips out.

You can also make them into BLT's but I just had them as your basic cheese burger which was fine and the kids absolutely loved!

let me know what you thought about our video and how they turned out in the comments section below! if you have a recipe for us to try please let us know and we will try and put it togehter.

Take care, don't forget to follow, upvote and share and help me reach more people!

Cooking with kids is always a great experience that also provides us the ability to hand down generational recipes and helps them learn to be self sufficent as adults. Today we made homemade gnocchi. It’s hands on, a little messy but needed to help kids grow and learn

In this video tutorial with my kids on how to make gnocchi from scratch you will learn how to make this staple from scratch.

One of the best things about making gnocchi is that it’s simple enough for kids to get involved. My kids love any chance to work with dough and this recipe gave them plenty of opportunities to knead, roll and shape the little potato pillows.

It was a great way to introduce them to basic cooking skills while having fun together in the kitchen.

Cooking together isn’t just about food as it builds teamwork, patience and creativity. My kids had a blast rolling out the dough and cutting it into bite sized pieces although they didn't look ecaxtly like the store ones but tasted better.

They even got competitive about who could make the best looking gnocchi!

So come and learn an ancient recipe for yourself.

Inside Out 2 at Village Cinema, Kid's Cinema

How we doing motherhood I hope you're having a wonderful day! This past weekend we went to the Village Cinema Kid's Cinema located in Sunshine. I have previously mentioned this awesome venue before and today I am sharing a video of our latest trip there to watch Inside Out 2. A Kid's film that teaches kids about emotions and feelings and also covers the next phase of the character's lide being puberty as they try to fit in and make new friends in an ever growing world.

The film was probably a little too old for my youngest as, by his commentary after the film he didn't really enjoy the film but he did have a wonderful time at the half time intermission which the cinema has inbuilt slides, dance floor, play equipment, Match Box cars and the ability to make new friends.

The session also coincided with the launch of Deadpool and Wolverine so the cinema had people dressed up in costume which my kids absolutely loved!

The cinema also has Intensity which has a number of arcade games which kids can compete to earn tokens to be able to purchase toys and other awesome things at the stand. A fun time for all. Growing up as a kid, I used to spend a lot of time here and I once even had a girl friend who worked here after school who used to sneak me into films for FREE. great memories growing up.

The kids cinema was developed with engagment with kids in the local area who contributed in what they would like to see in the cinema. Village Cinema then went to work constructing the kids entertainment and now we have one of the best kids cinemas in the area. A great place to make memories and spend time with children. It also makes watching films a lot easier as kids get to burn off energy. If only they had mainstream cinemas like this!

Do you have cinema's developed like this where you're from or how do you enjoy movies with your children, family and friends?

Let me know in the comments section below, I have also added it to @worldmappin and helping grow Hive's best Web3 global map.

10 years in the making and production on Local Government Docuseries begin

For many, you may have recalled I first put my hand up for local government in 2016. If you recall I have always been open, honest and transparent, my goal was to make change.
But in fact, I started long before 2016 where it was quite apparent that there were ongoing, significant corruption, mismanagement and poor governance occuring across the state.
So one of the biggest investigations commenced.
What is going on?
From organised crime, factional (not just political), intimidation and out right standovers, misuse of positions, stolen rate money and failed governance. The investigation has been of great success and we've been able to nail a number of problems on Local Government.
Over the past decade a paper trail exists to Electoral Commission, Local Government Inspectorate, Ministers, MPs, Councils and integrity bodies. These emails have been categorised.
I've been reaching out to many past and current Councillors, staff and residents.
The biggest barrier is pin pointing HOW it is being done and with 57 councillors (majority women) having resigned just this year. I'm confident that this docuseries will provide the evidence on HOW.
What is occuring will blow your mind and what makes it even worse is that everyone knows it is occuring there are multiple VAGO reports, investigations, findings and yet regardless of political denomination, it is allowed to continue.
If you'd like to feature in the docuseries as I will be speaking with everyday people who are service users of councils as it is quite often the general public that is the greatest impacted by these issues, reach out.
While many things are alarming, there is confidence in that there are many good, decent councillors and people in the industry.
For the meantime some alarming stat's that can be seen is that only 22 Victorian councils submitted their financial statements on time. Victorian councils oversee a significant portion of funds totally $2.3 Billion in revenue annually.

What is Diastasis Recti?

Today we are going to delve into what is diastasis recti. Having recently had this condition occur to me I thought it would be good to share some of what I have recently learned with the broader community so that others can avoid having it happen to them or if they do have it, some of the things you can do to rectify the problem.

Diastasis recti is a condition that affects many people, especially women postpartum yet it remains relatively unknown to many. Understanding this condition and knowing how to address it can significantly improve one’s quality of life. Today we’ll dive into what diastasis recti is, how to identify it and some effective exercises to help fix it. If you do have it, you might also be excited to know that as of the 1 July 2022 in Australia treatment was introduced under Medicare.

What Is Diastasis Recti?

Diastasis recti occurs when the large abdominal muscles separate. These muscles, known as the rectus abdominis, are normally joined at the midline of the abdomen. However, factors such as pregnancy, obesity, or improper exercise can cause them to separate, leading to a gap. This separation can result in a noticeable bulge in the middle of the abdomen, often referred to as a “pooch.”

Symptoms of Diastasis Recti

he primary symptom of diastasis recti is a visible bulge or pooch in the abdomen, especially when the abdominal muscles are strained. Other symptoms may include:

Lower back pain
Poor posture
Bloating and digestive issues
Weakness in the abdominal muscles
If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s crucial to consult with a healthcare provider to get a proper diagnosis and advice on the best course of action.

Exercises to Help Fix Diastasis Recti
While it’s essential to seek medical advice, certain exercises can help improve diastasis recti by strengthening the abdominal muscles and promoting their return to the midline. Here are a few exercises that can be beneficial:

Pelvic Tilts

Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Gently tilt your pelvis upward, flattening your lower back against the floor.
Hold for a few seconds, then release.
Repeat for 10-15 repetitions.
Kegels

Sit or lie down comfortably.
Tighten your pelvic floor muscles (as if you’re trying to stop the flow of urine).
Hold for a count of 5, then release.
Repeat 10-15 times, several times a day.
Heel Slides

Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Slowly slide one heel along the floor, straightening your leg.
Return to the starting position and repeat with the other leg.
Perform 10-15 repetitions on each side.
Transverse Abdominal Breathing

Sit or lie down with your knees bent.
Place your hands on your abdomen.
Take a deep breath in, allowing your belly to rise.
Exhale while drawing your belly button in towards your spine.
Hold for a few seconds, then release.
Repeat for 10-15 breaths.
Modified Plank

Start on your hands and knees.
Walk your hands forward until your body forms a straight line from your head to your knees.
Hold for 10-15 seconds, gradually increasing the duration as your strength improves.
Avoid letting your back sag or arch excessively.

Consult your Doctor and Seek Professional Training
While these exercises can be beneficial, it’s important to note that diastasis recti can vary in severity. In some cases, professional medical intervention may be necessary. A healthcare provider can assess your condition and provide a tailored treatment plan. Ignoring diastasis recti can lead to further complications, such as hernias or chronic back pain, so seeking professional advice is crucial.

Diastasis recti is a common condition that can affect anyone, particularly postpartum women and men over the age of 35 who vigorously exercise. By understanding the condition, recognizing the symptoms and incorporating specific exercises into your routine. You can help improve your abdominal strength and reduce the separation of your rectus abdominis. However, always remember the importance of consulting with a healthcare provider if you suspect you have diastasis recti. Early diagnosis and intervention can make a significant difference in your recovery and overall health.

Take charge of your health and well-being, and don’t hesitate to seek professional advice if you need it. Your body will thank you!

2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
500g minced beef
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
Tea Spoon of Mustard seeds
DIRECTIONS

Mr Brooks Stonegrill & Bar Dinner Date with the Kids

Nestled in the heart of Melbourne's western suburbs lies a hiden gem that promises not just a meal but also an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Mr. Brooks Stonegrill & Bar stands out as a top place to visit. offering a unique dining adventure that captivates both young and old alike.

Tonight my family and I headed out on a journey to this beautiful establishment and what awaited us surpassed all expectations.

As we entered the venu we were immediately enchanted by the warm glow of ambient lighting that bathed the interior and garden in a cozy embrace. It set the perfect tone for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. However, it was the outdoor garden area that truly stole our hearts. The beautiful garden provided a picturesque backdrop creating a serene atmosphere that was simply magical.

But the real magic happened when our steaks arrived at our table. as it is a stonegrill which means they were presented on sizzling hot stones, ready to be cooked. My kids' eyes widened with excitement as they realised that they would be playing chef for the evening, Well they got nuggests but they played with our meals.

Not only did Mr. Brooks Stonegrill & Bar provide us with a memorable dining experience but the quality of the food itself was also exceptional. Although there was no real room to complain about how the steaks were cooked as we cooked them ourselves, something I really enjoyed!

Each bite of steak was tender and bursting with flavor a testament to the restaurant's ability to selecting and using only the freshest ingredients.

If you're ever in the area you must visit them!

Italian Chicken Wing Pasta

alright my mighty lions were hungry so today I'm sharing a family special that was handed down to me by my Nonna. it's been famous in our home for years and thats the might Italian Chicken Wing Pasta

Ingredients

1 kg Chicken Wings
1 Brown Onion chopped
1 large garlic clove
Hand full of Basil Chopped
700ml Pasta Sauce
300ml Water
1 Table Spoon Tomato Paste
1 Table Spoon Suga
Salt and Pepper to taste
Your choice of Pasta

Directions

  1. Heat a pot on medium heat then add olive oil, add onions sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Then Add your chicken wings and mix around, place lid on the pot and stir around every minute to ensure ingredients don’t burn and chicken browns evenly.
  2. reduce heat or move to a smaller burner then add pasta sauce of your choice I use a plane passata as I add my own fresh ingredients to the sauce. Add around 300ml of water, basil, garlic and sugar and mix well place lid over the pot and let simmer stirring every 5 to 10 minutes ensuring contents do not burn or stick to bottom of pot.
  3. You will know when ready as the chicken will start pulling away from the bone and sauce will thicken up. You may need to add a little more water if the sauce is becoming thick too fast and chicken isn’t cooking.
  4. Serve with your pasta of choice.

If You're Underestimated make sure it's like this

In life you will be challenged and at times face opponents, afterall there are a limited amount of resources and not everyone makes it.

Never show all your hands and make sure that if youre underestimated its because you made your opponents underestimate you. if its because of their perception, then youre not playing the game right.

We've come a long way in the past few months with diet, training and sticking to the goal at hand.

The end isn't too far insight now 💪🏽

The changes my body has undergone is impressive and although I am looking good I am no where near winner material. My time as a Uni Runner has impacted my leg development and has caused them to remain leaner than the rest of my body despite training hard.

This Chicken Adobo Recipe is one of the most famous Filipino dishes cooked for centuries and once the Spanish arrived named the dish Adobo based on the Spanish word Adobar which means Marinade. If you haven’t tried this wonderful recipe we would highly recommend and it isn’t all that hard to replicate.

Chicken Adobo Ingredients

For the marinade

750g Chicken Thighs (can use pork belly)

85ml Light Soy Sauce

125ml Rice wine, White or Apple Cider Vinegar

2 large Garlic cloves minced

3 Bay leaves

Cooking Sauce

Canola Oil (can use olive, peanut or vegetable oil)

2 large Garlic cloves minced

1 Brown onion

1 and a half cup of water

2 table spoons brown sugar (or Honey)

1 table spoon whole black pepper

Method

Step 1:

Cut chicken thighs into small pieces or leave whole if you like. Place 2 minced Garlic cloves, Light Soy Sauce, Vinegar and Bay leaves into a bowl and mix to coat. Place in fridge for minimum 20 minutes. The longer the chicken is left to marinade the more full in taste it will be.

Step 2:

In a large frypan heat 2 table spoons of oil than cook chicken for 1 to 2 minutes each side. Remove from pan and add the additional garlic cloves and onion to the pan juices stirring in the pan juices. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 3:

Add the 1 and a half cups of water, 2 table spoons of brown sugar, remainder of the marinade and pepper to the fry pan. Bring to a simmer and stir everything together. Then return chicken to fry pan.

Step 4:

Simmer chicken uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes turning chicken over at the 15 minute mark. Sauce should reduce to a thick syrup.

Step 5:

Serve chicken on bed of rice, use sauce in pan as glaze and sprinkle with spring onions for garnish and additional flavor.

welcome back to another #tutorial today we're focusing on my back and lats. previously I explained how it was a shortfall of mine and required more work. I've since implemented #hypotrophy and removing rests from sets which increases time under tension and its really starting to pay off.

We still need to focus on shoulders and rear delts but you can see them starting to improve also. Will everything be up to where I want it to be in time for comp day, maybe not. But it is about being the best I can be on stage. With 9 weeks out before I step on stage for my first time it's a really daunting experience, one that I know I will never forget.

While I am self concious of my shortfalls I am wise enough to know that many other people will be experiencing the same. We all have our flaws and the only thing you can do when you get on stage is to promote the aspects of your body that you know are winners. For me this is chest and Biceps as it's just how I have developed over time. The reason why I focused so heavily on back was to beef up for when I turn around on stage.

You don't want to have this great front and then once you turn around an unworked and underdeveloped back. So I needed to put in the hard yards with wide grip rows, pull downs and extensive training to enhance my back. It doesn't need to be par for par with my front but it does need to be a show stopper.

I think I am really starting to get there and with 9 weeks to go, we'll be able to continue to make some good progress

Good morning Lion's I trust you are safe and well and roaring along in the current market which is travelling sideways currently.

The Crypto Currency market is quite stagnant at current as we are all aware of the current legal cases. The TerraForm Labs case is one that I am excited about as I lost a significant amount of money on.

Like you, I need a break from reading and reporting on the legal cases especially given the news is becoming quite repetative as there hasn't been much progress as yet. Things are only commencing with minor movements as prosecutors and defence negotiate their cases.

So I thought I would put together a 60 day success challenge as a lot of people are always asking How to make it.

Getting rich or more so becoming successful is more than simply investing and hoping. It is a mindset, establishing goals and working to them.

So today, we've put together a bit of inspiration while we wait out the current market.

Follow these 7 easy goals for 60 days and not only will you grow as a person but your life will change entirely.

If you don't know yet, I am currently training to compete in a body building contest which is 9 weeks out. Beyond my work here on Leo Finance I have a number of life goals.

I am the kind of person that wants to live life to the fullest and experience everything there is on offer in life. I don't want to get to the end of my life and hold regrests or wishs that I didn't do something, didn't try something.

If you develop this mindset then there is no such thing as failure, only learning and growth. That is Success. That is Leo Alpha, no Beta's here! Hooo Raaaa!

HOW COOKING METHODS AFFECT THE CALORIC CONTENT OF YOUR FOOD

Today we’re going to look at How Cooking Methods Affect the Caloric Content of Your Food. The process of preparing and cooking food plays a significant role in determining its nutritional value, taste, and overall health benefits. While many of us focus on choosing the right ingredients, we often overlook the impact that cooking methods can have on the caloric content of our meals.

In First Place Boiling and Steaming

Boiling and steaming food are two of the healthiest cooking methods when it comes to preserving the nutritional value of food. These methods involve using water to cook the ingredients, and they don’t add any extra calories from oils or fats. When food is boiled or steamed, it retains most of its vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

However, it’s important to be cautious about overcooking vegetables, as prolonged exposure to high heat can lead to nutrient loss. Steaming is a better option for preserving nutrients compared to boiling, as the food doesn’t come into direct contact with water, minimizing nutrient leaching.

How Cooking Methods Affect the Caloric Content of Your Food

Get Your Grill On for 2nd

Grilling is a popular cooking method that adds a delicious smoky flavor to various foods. Grilling typically involves cooking over an open flame or a hot surface, allowing excess fat to drip away. This process can be beneficial in reducing the overall calorie content of the food, especially when compared to frying methods.

Lean meats like chicken breasts, fish, and vegetables are particularly well-suited for grilling. However, it’s essential to avoid charring or overcooking, as burnt parts can contain potentially harmful compounds.

Frying in third

Frying, whether in a pan or a deep fryer, is known for creating tasty and crispy dishes. However, it’s also one of the cooking methods that can significantly increase the calorie content of food. When food is submerged in hot oil, it absorbs a considerable amount of fat, leading to a higher calorie count.

While occasional indulgence in fried foods can be enjoyable, regular consumption should be moderated due to the potential health risks associated with a high-fat diet.

Deep Frying last place

Deep frying takes frying to another level. It involves completely immersing the food in hot oil, resulting in a crispy exterior and a tender interior. While the taste might be satisfying, deep frying drastically increases the calorie count of the food due to the high absorption of oil.

Frequent consumption of deep-fried items can contribute to weight gain and other health issues, such as heart disease and diabetes. It’s best to reserve deep frying for special occasions or choose healthier alternatives.

Air Frying The New Entrant

Air frying is a relatively new cooking technique that has gained popularity as a healthier alternative to deep frying. It involves using hot air to cook food, often with just a light coating of oil to achieve crispiness. Compared to deep frying, air frying significantly reduces the calorie content of the food since it uses far less oil.

While air frying can produce tasty and crispy results, it’s essential to remember that it still involves adding some fat to the food. Moderation is key to obtaining the full health benefits of this cooking method.

When it comes to superfoods, most people might think of exotic fruits or rare vegetables. But in truth, Potatoes are good for your health. They are one of the most underrated and accessible superfoods. Often dismissed as a simple starch, potatoes have a fascinating history and are brimming with essential nutrients.

Historical Significance of Potatoes

The history of potatoes dates back to over 10,000 years ago. Potatoes were first domesticated in the Andes region of South America. Native to countries like Peru and Bolivia, the potato was a staple food for ancient civilizations like the Incas. Spanish explorers brought potatoes to Europe in the 16th century and they spread globally. Becoming a vital crop for many nations and sustaining human development for years to come.

Indigenous Australian’s have been eating potatoes or a species of them known as Yams (Murnong) for over 65,000 years. These plants were readily available and an important part of traditional diets until colonisation nearly brought the Yam to extinction. Murnong 8 times more nutritious and sweeter than average white potatoes. Yet we still don’t see it in our supermarkets or fresh food grocers.

During the 19th century, the potato played a crucial role in combating food scarcity and famine in Europe. Particularly in Ireland during the infamous Irish Potato Famine. The tuber’s ability to grow in diverse climates and its high nutritional value made it a lifeline for millions. Today, potatoes remain a dietary staple for millions worldwide.

Carbs aren’t the enemy

Potatoes are a rich source of carbohydrates, mainly in the form of starch. This provides the body with a sustainable energy source. A medium-sized potato (about 150 grams) contains approximately 110 calories, 26 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of protein and zero fats. The dietary fiber content in a potato is about 2 grams, aiding in digestion and promoting a feeling of fullness.

Beyond carbohydrates and fiber, potatoes are packed with vitamins and minerals. They are an excellent source of vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that boosts the immune system and promotes healthy skin. Additionally, potatoes provide a considerable amount of potassium, which is essential for maintaining proper heart function, muscle contractions, and fluid balance within the body. They also contain B vitamins like vitamin B6 and niacin, contributing to energy metabolism and overall well-being.

Potatoes the Nutritional Power House!

One of the lesser-known aspects of potatoes is their complete amino acid profile. While they are not considered a complete protein source on their own. Meaning they do not contain all the essential amino acids required by the human body. They do possess a surprisingly good range of amino acids. Potatoes are particularly abundant in aspartic acid, glutamic acid, and arginine.

To enhance the protein quality of potatoes, they can be paired with other complementary protein sources. Which is why they are considered a wonderful side to any main. This combination ensures that all essential amino acids are obtained, making it a nutritionally balanced meal.

Fad diets have led people to remove potatoes from diets. However, it is their preparation and cooking methods that significantly impact their nutritional value. Eating potatoes in their whole, unpeeled form ensures the preservation of valuable nutrients like dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Boiling or steaming potatoes is generally the best cooking method to retain most of their nutrients in the cooking process.

Deep-frying potatoes to make French fries or chips can reduce their nutritional value due to the high temperatures involved. The frying process can lead to the formation of acrylamide, a potential carcinogen, and also increase the fat content significantly. Fried treats occasionally is fine but it’s essential to remember how you prepare your food is what makes a difference. Potatoes Are Good for Your Health.

WHAT IS HYPERTROPHY?

Achieving a well-sculpted, muscular physique is a goal shared by many people in gyms around the world. While there are various methods to enhance muscle growth, hypertrophy training stands out as a highly effective approach.

Today we will explore the numerous benefits of hypertrophy, discuss different strategies to achieve it, and delve into the importance of incorporating time under tension into your workouts.

Hypertrophy

Hypertrophy refers to the process of muscle growth and enlargement, resulting in increased muscle fiber size. This adaptation occurs in response to specific stimuli, such as resistance training and progressive overload. Engaging in hypertrophy-focused workouts helps individuals build lean muscle mass, boost strength, and improve overall athletic performance.

One of the most effective ways of achieving this is through Time Under Tension (TUT) which refers to the duration that a muscle is placed under load during a single repetition or set. Manipulating TUT can have a significant impact on muscle hypertrophy. By controlling the eccentric (lowering) and concentric (lifting) phases of each exercise and incorporating pauses, you can extend the time under tension and increase muscle fiber recruitment.

Alternatively you can incorporate lower weight and undertake more repetitions as seen undertaken by Jaafar in our video above. Some of the benefits of TUT include:

Increased Muscle Fiber Activation: Slowing down the movement and maintaining tension throughout the exercise stimulates a greater number of muscle fibers. This can lead to greater muscle growth and strength gains over time.

Metabolic Stress: Prolonging the time under tension induces metabolic stress within the muscle. This stress triggers the release of anabolic hormones, such as growth hormone and testosterone, promoting muscle hypertrophy.

Muscular Endurance: By emphasizing time under tension, you improve the muscular endurance of your target muscles. This endurance can enhance your performance in other physical activities and help you maintain proper form and technique during exercises.

Benefits of Hypertrophy Training

Hypertrophy training stimulates muscle protein synthesis, leading to muscle fiber hypertrophy. As the muscle fibers grow in size, the overall muscle mass increases, resulting in a more defined and sculpted appearance. By focusing on hypertrophy, you are also improving your strength capabilities. Larger muscle fibers possess a higher potential for generating force, enabling you to lift heavier weights and exert more power during physical activities.

Building muscle through hypertrophy training can have a positive impact on your metabolism. Muscle tissue is metabolically active, meaning it burns more calories at rest compared to fat tissue. Therefore, by increasing your muscle mass, you can elevate your basal metabolic rate, helping you burn more calories throughout the day.

Hypertrophy training not only strengthens your muscles but also your connective tissues, tendons, and ligaments. This fortification enhances joint stability and reduces the risk of injury, making it a valuable training method for athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike.

Strategies for Success

The foundation of hypertrophy training lies in progressively overloading the muscles over time. This involves gradually increasing the intensity, volume, or duration of your workouts. By challenging your muscles with heavier weights, higher repetitions, or shorter rest periods, you provide the stimulus necessary for muscle growth.

Incorporating compound exercises into your routine to maximize muscle recruitment can also support achieving hypertrophy. Compound movements, such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and overhead presses, engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, promoting overall muscle development.

@3speak does it again with Shorts!

for my first short it's time to smash some shoulders I'm throwing up two different exercises that I use. one is just the standard dumbbell press and the other is an Arnold Press.

pretty much the same thing while the shoulder press is probably a little better for targeting those shoulders and delts with a straight up and down movement. the Arnold press gives you a little more focus on stability and rear delts.

you can choose which one to do, I tend to just mix it up abit.

Palara Village Park a New Adventure to explore

Hello mum's and dad's of Hive I hope you are having a wonderful time raising your children and living in the moment. Something as parents we often forget to do as we are bogged down with changing nappies, doing chores and ensuring the household is kept in some kind of order.
It's important that you take time to stop and spend time in the parenthood life because soon, it will pass like all things and our children will be olders, more independent and we will find ourselves missing the times we dread today. Although, a clean home is something I do miss now.

One of the ways we keep active and enjoying life, if you have been following a long is by going on adventures and exploring new and exciting places. For our family we live in a newish developed area with lots of new suburbs sprining up all over the place. While change can sometimes
be hard to deal with, it too brings lots of opportunities. It's not uncommon to find new parks and gardens in development close to home and the kids love heading out to find new things. No two parks have been the same and some have their own challenges and special designs to keep kids active.

Our latest adventure was to Palara Village Park not far from our home and the design and layout of this play space was something we have never seen before. One of the interesting things was the maze which was suspended off the ground and built inside a box.

Lucky we went on a cool day as it did get quite warm inside the maze and I did wonder how it would feel inside the suspended maze if it was a warmer day or in the middle of summer. Another awesome feature at the park was the play tower which was also a series of ladders and rope bridges that you could climb to the top and get a 360 Degree view of the entire area.

Being so high up was a little scary but these play towers have been a growing feature of all the new parks that are sprouting up around the community and provide kids (and big kids like me) the opportunity to see all around our area and locate points of interest.

I can't hope but think how these towers might be used in the future amongst children as they call their friends out to come and play. One could wait at the top of the tower and watch from all areas as their friends made their way to the park.

There is also another new park opening soon that houses not one but two towers in the shape of rockets with a bridge in the middle that connects the two together. It already looks quite scary but I can not wait for it to be completed and explore the park with the kids.

What are some of the ways you make great family memories? Do you also make home made family videos and record your time as parents of young children?

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has identified imported poisons sold as health supplements as well as banned substances in up to 19% of products currently on the market which pose significant health and safety concerns for the health department.

In 2020 the New South Whales Poisons Information Centre, warned that there is a resurgence of banned substances in Australia being misleadingly labelled as other legal ingredients catching unsuspecting health conscious Aussies off guard. Adverse effects brought on by illegal substances in legally imported and sold to market items have been increasing. The TGA is considering altering the classification of health nutrition supplements.

Some of the substances found in imported health supplements, prevent the body from storing fat and instead elicit a heat generation response damaging kidneys, brain and other vital organs. To date there is no treatment or cure for the adverse reaction and it has caused Australian’s to lose their lives.

The TGA test on Imported Ingredients

TGA tested imported sports supplements and ALL their tests found the products tested contained scheduled substances and that they were either not labelled on packaging or renamed to some alternate name with further studies proving that almost 20% of sports supplements hold ingredients that are banned in sports and can cause significant adverse health effects.

Some products have even been found to have Methamphetamine known as Ice or Crystal Meth.

Human and Supplement Testing Australia (HASTA) has further investigated products identifying that imported products hold a significant risk to consumers with their findings identifying the most common illegal substance being methylhexanamine and ephedrine.

Imported Whey products also were highly likely to contain banned substances with imported pre workout powders also showing to have synephrine, octopamine, cathine, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, strychnine, and methylephedrine.

The importance of Australian made

Health supplements are becoming one of the fastest growing sectors in the economy and given the vast amount of products on offer everyone is vying for the edge, but this competition shouldn’t come at the cost of consumers.

The next time you purchase your supplements, be sure to purchase from a reputable supplier or retailer. Australian businesses having to meet stringent manufacturing regulations are the safer bet and as someone who has been training for over a decade, my health is important to me and what goes in it is a priority. Which is why I am building my very own Australian made Health supplements.

VALLONE Business update and how this Aussie product can help you lose weight

Thermogenesis is an important metabolic process that is responsible for maintaining our body temperatures and regulating our energy balance through the production of heat within our bodies. The process is also commenced when we eat food and our body uses energy to digest and absorb the nutrients through heat, this is where the term “burning calories” comes from. Our bodies are doing just that!

Thermogenesis is part of your metabolic rate which is the total amount of calories you need per day to live i.e. breathe, eat, move, think and pretty much operate your entire body, also known as Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT). Increasing your Metabolic Rate is how one loses weight.

There is another popular weight loss method that involves eating less than your Metabolic Rate which is often handed to people who sign up to gyms and fitness regimes however, this method could be doing you more harm than good. While the results from this method are fast you’re also denying your body the calories and nutrients it needs to survive.

Burning Calories by increasing Thermogenesis

While heat is being generated within our cells to power our bodies we release CO2 which we exhale so in short, we turn fat into CO2 through thermogenesis. This amount can also be calculated through our Respiratory Quotient which too can be increased to aid in burning more calories.

To summarise, we can lose a certain amount of weight simply by increasing thermogenesis and respiratory quotient and suppressing appetite can further help to burn more calories before we even start exercising.

Is it safe?

Before starting any new forms of diets one should always consult a health professional, in relation to the safety of the above method. A lot of research has gone into the above yet a lot of it hasn’t been rolled out in health supplements or health plans to date.

Recent research has identified three food ingredients that can boost Thermogenesis by 6%, reduce Ad libitum by 8% and increase your respiratory quotient by 1% which make the core basis of my pre workout.

The VALLONE Difference

Pre workout supplements have all become generic and only mainly differ on price, coupled with the fact a lot of the products are imported and aren’t passing Australian standards some even being found to contain illegal substances and poisons as identified by the Australian Government, Therapeutic Goods Administration.

Which is exactly why I wanted to develop my own Australian manufactured and made supplements and provide something different that’s beneficial to the Australian market. My pre workout’s core ingredients don’t only act as a pre workout, but are designed to boost Thermogenesis and provide you with energy you need not just during a workout but whenever you need it.

So stop wasting your money on possible imported poisons that don’t come with an Australian manufactured guarantee, and buy your all in one energy drink, pre-workout and fat burner from my online store.

Gooood day Motherhood I hope you have all been having a wonderful day, for me we are approaching winter and our warm summer nights are now coming to a close but for many of you, you will be fast approaching Spring!
If you're not aware as yet I am in the process of starting my own business developing and selling gym and fitness supplements and creating a number of marketing videos. My business is a little different to the mainstream institutionalised versions of things.
The primary goal of my business is to address men's health and taking on a wholistic approach to life in general. Much of the research I have been undertaking is that men see health broader than their own and it encompasses their families.

As I continue down my journey in business I am starting to see how this unfolds and the unattended consequences they are having on my family which are positive. My daughter is 6 now and is starting to understand more about the world so knows that we are starting up some kind of a shop. She knows I take supplements for the gym and knows I am making my own to sell to others.

But another thing she and her friends as well as my son have come to do is experiment with exercise equipment in the gym and they copy my routine. It's not uncommon for me to find them in the gym on the treadmil which I need to teach them correct ways so they don't harm themselves.

My associates muscle development and strength with my workouts and when asked he will explain gym makes you strong, my daughter now identifies that I look different to a lot of the other dads and parents at the school which is caused by working out.

She also knows that if you want to participate in sport you need the edge which is provided by working out in the gym as many of the other sportsman train regularly. This also got me thinking about a past ad that was run on Australian T.V not too long ago.

I was very much that young kid in the ad often asked to "fetch a beer" and as a result my teenage years were spent getting drunk in parks with others who also had similar upbringing. We saw what our parents did and copied it.

As an adult I don't often drink only ever really having a beer with dinner occasionally, an espresso martini and the rare night out with mates where I tend to be the designated driver.

What I am seeing is my children and their friends see what I do and how I look and making that decision to also train and exercise. Setting a strong example for the next generation that training and fitness is something you can do.

It got me thinking about other aspects of my life that my children are copying me and receiving that standard of what it is to be an adult. What are some of the things you're seeing around you that your kids are copying? Are you using the moment to change things?

The only thing you need to do to succeed is, Don't Quit!

Success comes in many shapes and forms and for different people means different things but no matter what it is to you, there is one simple rule to success and that is. Don't Quit!

In life not everything you work on or do will be successful but each attempt provides you a unique experience outside of your comfort zone and brings new skills. People often forget that the most successful people alive today didn't start off like that.
Everyone irregardless of wealth commences this life the same way in relation to knowledge, yes there are determining factors that may impact one's ability to learn but overall there will be plenty more opportunities to learn. It comes down to your drive and determination.

Sure some people are provided wealth as an opportunity but that is only one entrance point and as we know most people who become millionaires lose it all so money alone won't help. It might give you a leg up or into a place others can't but without the right knowledge and drive you won't go far.

We all have our battles with demons for some, more so than others but it is our quest and journey that deliver outcomes created through experiences. Just because you fail once at something doesn't mean you should quit. Maybe you need to take a break, evaluate your position and come back at another time.

But the one rule you should not break ever is the Do Not Quit rule afterall, come backs arealways the best stories to tell and hear.

When are you starting your comeback?

Today I am going to share with you the best Steak and Mushroom sauce recipe, for this recipe you can use any cut of meat I prefer either Scotch Fillet or Porterhouse steak but any steak cut will do fine. Sorry to all the pubs out there but a man’s got to have steak!

I have also added a voice over as a test for the first time to help explain the steps and what's happening in the video. Please let me know what you think and if it works well I will build on it and make it a lot better.

INGREDIENTS

    1. 3 cuts of steak of your choice, scotch fillet, T-bone, Porterhouse (sauce will be enough for 4 – 5 cuts)
    1. 400g cup mushrooms, diced
    1. 2 garlic cloves, crushed (I prefer hand chopping)
    1. 1/2 cup beef stock
    1. 1 small cream
    1. 1 tablespoon plain flour
    1. 1 brown onion (can use shallots for additional flavor)
    1. 4 beef fillet steaks, trimmed
    1. Salt and Pepper to taste
    1. 50 grams of butter

Method

  1. Preheat frypan on medium high heat. Run the butter over the pan just to coat or you can use a small bit to melt. Add Steaks and cook for 3 minutes max for medium then flip and cook the other side for the same period of time. 4 minutes will give you well-done.
  2. Once done, remove steak and let rest for about 10 minutes. While pan is hot add Onion until translucent (soft). Add Garlic and stir for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the remainder of the butter and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Add 1/2 cup beef stock and allow to simmer until reduced to about half.
  3. While mushrooms are cooking combine 1 Tablespoon of plain flour with cold water in 1/4 cup stir to create a thin paste. Add cream to frypan and flour and water mixture simmer for 5 – 10 minutes or until thickened.
  4. Plate up and serve on top of steak and chips!

Goooood day Lion's I trust you're safe and well.

I want to thank everyone who has jumped onboard and contributed to the development of what we are setting out to do. I have already had a lot of people make contact and believe it or not a lot of people have phoned me over the past few weeks reaching out about what they would like to see.
It hasn't been to clear on what we are building just yet and I didn't wan't to flood you all with all that's planned as it can be quite confusing. In my last video and previous blogs I started talking about the difference in funding between men and women's health and focusing on on that gap.
This is something I would really like to focus on and we will do that through the establishment of VALLONE.

So what is VALLONE? We provide a few more details in what's coming and what's in store.

I am keen to hear from men and women on what they would like to see and what they would be interested in.

Gooooood day everyone I hope you're all safe and well.

One of the underutilised meats I find in this day and age is Pork, as I am half Italian it was pretty much the staple meat growing up and we ate it often.
Although there are many reasons why Pork isn't used because it's not eaten by everyone and if you have it in stock then it makes all your other food out of reach of potential buyers. But I want to bring it back!

For any Italian's watching this video clip you might be familiar with what I am making as they're typically used to make Italian meatballs. But why stop there? Why not expand and flip the whole thing into a tasty crispy burger? Give it a crack and let me know what you think!

This delicious Crispy Pork Burger Patty recipe, as burgers come in all kinds of shapes and forms for the purpose of this recipe I will be sharing just the patty mix. As a side note I often add bacon, egg, caramalised onion, lettuce and cucumber to mine.

This is a recipe that can be used in a number of ways which you can create two meals in one night to satisfy those fussy little eaters. It can also be adapted to be used in spaghetti meatballs pasta. Once you form a meatball give them a quick fry and add them to your pasta sauce.

For this video I decided to crumb the outside of the patties as I was also creating mini crumbed meatballs for the kids as they’re a little fussy and won’t eat a home made burger. It go cooking done and everyone fed.

I also have two additional patties that will be eaten tomorrow for lunch at work.

Crispy Pork Burger Patty recipe

INGREDIENTS

1 large egg, beaten
4 slices tasty cheese (if making thinner patties you’ll need more)
1 cup bread crumbs
hand full of chopped parsley
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
500g minced pork
more breadcrumbs to coat (roughly 1.5 Cups)
DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, combine pork, parsley, garlic, salt, pepper and egg. Mix until all ingredients are evenly dispersed, add bread crumbs and knead crumbs into mixture until formed. Create four even patties (noting these will be quite thick you can make six or more depending on desired thickness) and use the rest of the mince to make mini meatballs for the kids, if not continue to create patties.

If you wish to crumb them you will need to coat in flour, egg wash and then dip in bread crumbs as shown in video.
For plain not crumbed: Heat a frypan on medium high heat, once hot coat frypan in oil, cook burger for 4 to 5 minutes on one side then flip. Place a slice of cheese on the cooked side (top should be facing up) cook for another 4 to 5 minutes. Cheese should melt nicely.

For crumbed: fill a frypan with around 2cm of canola oil, once hot fry patties flipping once golden brown.
Serve on your desired bun and with your preferred add ons.

Gooooood day @motherhood I hope you have all been well and enjoying your week!

We're back for another week and in our latest episode we visited the Atherstone Traffic School which has just been opened to the general public for free use between 8am to 8pm up until March 31.
From then it will be utilised by schools and kindergartens to offer driver awareness classes to children and lift their situational awareness.

The Traffic School has been developed to help tackle and reduce the high instances of hooning and accidents on our roads by providing early driver education in the hopes it will remain with children throughout their adult lives.
We had a wonderful time giving it a test run and even utilising some of the make shift stores in the middle of the area that can be incorporated in kids play.

I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and don't forget to upvote, reblog and subscribe to stay upto date with all our latest activities and fun things to do.

It's School Holiday period in Australia and that means there are lots of programs runnin in the community to keep kids active and busy.
This weekend we headed off to the Melton Learner's Hub to participate in the JellyBeanStreet Messy Fun and Play activity where children got to experience a number of different forms of painting.

Their pictures are than dried out and turned into canvases which parents can purchase and hang on their walls. It is a great way to pass some time and provide an interesting piece of art for our home.

Christmas Festival!

Who doesn't love a Christmas Festival? It is just such a magical time of the year where the world stops right across the globe, or more so in the nations that celebrate the festive season.
Filled with family, food, loved ones and..... Christmas lights!

We have created a new tradition in our home in where we visit the Christmas light's not just around our home that many many home owners go to the trouble of putting together to showcase the Christmas Spirit. But since lock down Adventure Park in Geelong which is a water park located just outside of Melbourne's Metro region along the coast puts together some beautiful displays throughout their venue for many to enjoy.

Not only are their lights and kids activites such as face painting and live christmas bands but there are kids rids and many things to do. Although if you're planning on going on ALL the rides in the one sitting that probably isn't going to happen as there are tens of thousands of people who now attend.

Both times we missed out on riding on the giant faris wheel due to wait lines but we did manage to get a turn on the tea cup ride with little miss and I which was fun. We would have liked to try out more rides but we wouldn't have had time to walk around the whole park and see all the magical light displays.

Going earlier doesn't make it any better either as the event is only on from 6 - 10 and it is a big venue to have to walk around in. So it is best to just take your time, go on one or two rides and walk around the park.

There is plenty of parking on site so you won't have to worry about not getting a parking spot and it isn't to bad of a walk around the park with much of the walk ways being level and plenty of pram and wheel chair access.

So come along with us as we walk around the magical christmas display of Adventure Park, Geelong and take in the beautiful sites.

I hope you all had a wonderful and merry Christmas with your family, friends and loved ones and a happy, prosperous and joyful new year.

Please feel free to let us know what you got upto this Christmas in the comments section below.

St Kilda Beach

Summer is finally here in Australia but it hasn't particularly been a hot summer with an el nina event meaning heavy rain and temps below 20s it feels like an extremely long autumn or an extended winter. In between these cold days that are even bringing snow to our alpine regions are a few hot summer days but they are long and far inbetween.
For little miss she is well aware of what summer is and how fun it can be swimming in the river or heading to the beach but for little bloke he is only just learning about the beach and unfortunately been missing out on some super fun times!

Living in Australia means that our entire nation is girt by sea and pretty much most our population lives on the East Coast and has access to a beach and if it isn't a beach there is a river or inland lakes and water ways to have fun in.
As we live in Melbourne the weather is a lot cooler so the water temp isn't always the best for all year round swimming and even summer weather, our beach water isn't that warm but it is still wonderful to cool off in.

This past weekend we had a 34 degree celsius day so it gave us the opportunity to head down to little miss's favourite beach St Kilda which if I could compare it kind of to something in other nations it's probably similar in culture to Miami beach just a heck of a lot smaller.
Still it was a lot of fun to head down and relax in the suns warm rays and take a dip in the cool ocean water which little miss is getting a lot more confident in but little bloke is more content sitting on the shoreline playing with his trucks in the sand.

We had a wonderful time exploring the beach and walking around a bit and after COVID there seems to be a lot more people out and about enjoying the suns rays and a dip in our wonderful bay. Flooding has made some sections not fit for swimming in as the water quality has declined in some areas as all the inland water flows out through rivers and channels.
This ment we couldn't swim in our favourite river which is a bit of a risk due to the water and contaminents flowing down into it.

Unfortunatley it looks like summer is canceled in Australia this year and we will have a few hot days here and there and we will need to take our opportunities as they arise. While the previous two summers were fantastic we couldn't really do much due to lockdowns and COVID spread. So 2023 is looking more like our summer where we will get out and about more often.

How is summer looking where you reside? Are you also suffering from an El Nina event?

Christmas Carols By Candle Light

Good Day mums and dads of Hive I hope you're having a wonderful start of the Christmas season which can be hard for a lot of families this time around and I am not sure about others but here in Australia we have a lot of free family fun events that the whole family can get involved with and participate in.
This year was the first year we were able to finally attend a Christmas Carols by Candle Light event and although it isn't late at night it does kick off at around 6:00pm and goes to 9:00pm which means there is plenty of time to get the kids back home and in bed at a reasonable time.
When I was a kid I used to love going to Carols by Candle Light and Christmas midnight Mass as it was a wonderful event the whole community participated in and I fondly remember playing with many of my friends.

Due to COVID19 the past few Christmas Carols by Candle Light events were cancelled with last year going online to be live streamed and although we tuned in it just wasn't the same as being there in person and enjoying the festivities and making lots of new friends.

The event was filled with food trucks and different vendors but we opted for little miss and little blokes favourite treats twirly spuds which mind you around a decade ago I remember being at a business forum where these businesses were being offered as a franchise and I remember saying to my partner that the business model would be popular. She wasn't as impressed yet here we are a decade or more later and the spuds are at every event selling out!.

There was lots to see and do with face painting, letters to Santa, make your own Christmas hats and although we didn't get to do any of it mainly because today was 30 degrees celsius and dad just did not have the energy to stand in line we still had a wonderful time singing and dancing and did score some FREE electric candles.

Oh how things have changed with technology I remember as a kid buying these small thin candles that would drip onto your hands and burn. Then as we got older I also remember putting was on your finger tips to make wax finger prints and pretend to peel it off like it was skin.

I am sure there were plenty of 3rd degree burns back then but most of us were ok and didn't do anything too silly despite remembering one year someone's hair catching on fire. Now with electronic candles all that is made a lot safer although I am not sure if it is as fun and kids today might just be missing out.

Carols by Candle Light was held at Hannah Watts Park so there was a playground close by for kids to have a whole heap of fun!

Do you celebrate Christmas? what do you have planned this year?

Hey Hey Hive Garden peeps I trust you are safe and well!

It has been a little while since we planted our Rose bushes along our fence line and now we are starting to progress and plan a veggie garden!

Give that it is supposed to be Spring and the weather is typically warmer this time of year but isn't. We have tried our hand at some spring veggies but I am not sure if they will take as we are still having many, many cold mornings.

We decided to put together a Video for our gardening sessions where you can watch us plant water mellon, Cucumbers, Corn, Carrots and Strawberries!

Despite the cold weather I think we will still have a decent uptake of plants as we are still getting some great sunlight and the additional rain means we don't need to worry about watering the veggies. Although there seems to be a lot of rain lately so we had dug out our veggie patches to

add garden soil to enable drainage and good root taking and nutrient absorption.

I think my favourite things that we put in this week to grow is the corn, not so much because they are the best as it is a hard pick between Water Mellons and Strawberries, but more so because their stalks grow so large and provide a cob at the top. My kids have never seen how Corn is grown so

planting some and growing it from scratch will be a worthwile experience for them.

I didn't want to plant anything that was going to take up too much space or crawl too far and I know I planted Water Mellon and Cucumber but I caved to pressure from little miss who really wanted to grow them in the backyard. But I think the location they have been planted in won't help their survival as there isn't enough

sun or ground cover for them to sprawl across but it is still a good exercise to have undertaken with the kids. Next time round I will pop in some tomatoes and capsicums although mum has already provided some feedback stating that she wants our veggie patch space turned into a beautfil garden and wants the roses extended all the way through.

So this might be our first and final year of a veggie patch but once we fix up the backyard we will be sure to add another veggie patch one with a bit more light access and better nutrients.

So how did you think we went in the video? do you have any tips or recommendations on what to plant or what we can improve on? I would love to hear back from you and how you found our video and what improvements we could do to increase viewership and engagement.

Have a wonderful day and I look forward to seeing you ll again soon!

Bye bye for now from me and the kids! Happy gardening!

Spot Lighting with the Kids!

Having kids is a full time job and it can be hard at times especially in periods where there is change or things that kids have never experienced before. Growing up something we used to have a lot of were blackouts due to power failures. For many around the world this still occurs but for us in Australia if you're born in the 2000s it is something that never happens anymore.

Recently we suffered a power outage which was planned due to the ongoing construction and development of our growing community as it transforms from farm land to housing. For both little miss and little bloke they had never experienced a power outage before so we were worried about how they would react.

Fortunatly it was planned for around 9:00pm so late enough that it wouldn't bother them too much as it is close to when they would normally fall asleep anyway and the lights would be back on in time for when they woke up in the morning as power returned at 4:00am.

So to kill the time and reassure them that everything was fine we brought back an activity I used to do a lot of as a kid when there were power outages and that was called Spot light!. Now I know there are two versions of this game one where you try to move towards the torch and not get found but there is also another version which is a lot easier. It involves walking around and just looking for things in the dark.

In this instance we decided to look for what animals and creatures appeared once the lights were out and also investigate what caused the power outage to begin with and after going around the long way (as mum and dad knew where and what caused the outage) we located the reason to why we had no power!

The kids had a wonderful time out and about in the dark and the fact that there were no house or street lights added to the fun and we could even turn "invisible" by turning our flash lights off.

We didn't really get to see many animals but we did find a lot of insects and bugs out and about in the cover of darkness hidden away from all the things that eat them for dinner :)

The kids had a great time and we look forward to doing it again with them.

What are some of the ways you entertain kids in new situations or experiences they have never had before?

Do you have a game you used to play when the power went out? what would you have done?

Let me know in the comments section below.

Also how have you been finding our home videos? we are starting our own Vlog series of cool local events and fun things to do I would really appreciate any feedback to enhance your experience and have more fun together!

Spooky Halloween Down Under

Alrighty, Alright, Alright Hivians how are we going today? Well first of all Happy Halloween to all those who celebrate it which is something we don't really do in the land down under. But in more recent years it is one thing that has become more popular in Australia.

Growing up we watched many spooky Halloween shows and watched how many other nations celebrated the event and although we had no real ideas about it's cultural significance we knew that Trick or Treating was a thing in which kids could door knock in the neighbourhood and get lollies also known as candy in America from strangers and it was completely acceptable to do so.

I remember once being young maybe 12ish with a group of mates and we decided to go trick or treating one Halloween and that we would start the craze in Australia. We didn't really have much of a plan other than start door knocking homes and say trick or treat.

It wasn't a very fruitful event and we got ushered off many peoples properties while being told "This is Australia ya Fucktards not America". One lovely gentleman chased us down his driveway with a kitchen knife screaming Trick! Trick! Trick! and that pretty much ended our attempt at Halloween down under.

More so recently it seems to be making an arrival in Australia with the past few years really seeing some growth. I think Lock down had a big thing to do with it as many families were cooped up inside looking at ways to pass the time so got decorating and making their homes spooky for the season.

This year a number of church groups organised Trick or Treat events in car parking lots and a lot of houses decorated their front gardens. My daughter asked me to do the same but I declined because I didn't think many people would be into it. although I was wrong and found myself in the last minute grabbing quick items and as her friends in the street were also going trick or treating I had to run down the store to grab her and her little brother something to wear to go trick or treating as many of the houses put lollies out.

I also grabbed a few bags of bite size party chocolate bars to put out the front while we were out.

Although we say trick or treat I am not sure there is a trick part to it?

What really got me pretty excited was one family decked out their garage and put on a costume to scare people which little miss wanted to see but got quite frightened once we went. Little bloke was a freak and totally into it.

The next house we saw had an enitre LED light set up with Penny wise which I found to be pretty awesome.

I thought I only had to compete with Christmas but now that Halloween seems to be emerging and people getting into the spirit of the dead I am going to have to add a bit more to the house to do list once finances get a little better.

How was your Halloween? and to the Aussies out there, have you seen an increase in Halloween celebrations?

Flavor Fest: Family Fun Day Out

Gooooood Day everyone I trust you are all safe and well we have some serious weather conditions here in Australia and it really feels like mother nature is not letting up from Floods, Fires, Pandemic and now another flood which is impacting much of the state.

These are some times to be a live and live through that is for certain and I hope that everyone can make it through safe and well.

Now that COVID19 has started to dwindle down and life returns to normal crowds are begining to return and many community events are now on offer for many people to enjoy and get back to how life was before the Pandemic hit. This weekend was especially a fun one where we got to finally have a return of some good old family fun at a festival.

Currently in Melbourne, Australia population growth is booming and the area we reside in is tipped to reach 500,000 people by 2050 so thats not too far away. It has been nick named the Growth Corridore. The majority of the housing boom isn't being developed by Government but by private enterprises some local but a vast majority international companies.

As part of building these massive communities a lot of the developers implement community development projects to aid community growth and getting people out and about mingling. Unfortunatly due to COVID19 much of these events were cancelled but are now starting to make a return.

This weekend Woodlea estate in partnership with City of Melton Council hosted the Flavour Fest 2022 which was a food and music festival focused on family fun.

We took the kids along for a wonderful time and enjoyed the many games and entertainment while live music played and an entire zone was established for food trucks and even a beer garden which was quite popular amongst localts. I wasn't able to attend the beer garden due to the kids but perhaps one day I will be able to.

Also on site were the Country Fire Authority (CFA) and Victoria Police which had an open day with introductions to families and kids as they are the local emergency services units. My kids had a wonderful time exploring the fire truck and flicking the switch on the police sirens.

Little bloke was on another level of excitment as he absolutely loves anything and all things to do with trucks especially fire trucks so being sat in one was one of his highlights.

There was plenty of singing and dancing and we even won a toy on the amusement park attraction and riding the tea cups which dad didn't get to go on because there wasn't enough room. But I did enjoy the giant slide with little miss which I wasn't able to capture due to being on it. She was a little frightened but overcame her fears. I am not too sure she will be doing it again any time soon.

The event brought so much joy to alot of the community and little miss saw some friends there. Attendance was over 6,000 people and was a great success!

It was great to be able to introduce my kids back into the world.

It's the Australian Football League Grand Final weekend this week and last weekend we went to a community hosted family fun sports day!

The event was filled with entertainment such as face painting, balloon animals, popcorn, fairy floss and a sports carnival where everyone who attended

was provided with either a football, soccer ball, basketball or grid iron ball.

The open field was used for kids to play with their newly aquired balls and have fun with their parents and FREE food and coffee was on hand for people

to stay caffined up and have their tummies filled.

Also located at the park is play equipment for all ages fun and plenty of kids to make new friends with.

The weather wasn't the best and it brought down some showers which dampened the sporting fun despite some kids taking the opportunity to

slip and slide in the mud making the event a whole new level of fun!

We enjoyed music from a live band and when the rain hit the entertainers took to the shelter to continue the fun with all the kids and finding new things

to do and keep the kids occupied.

Little miss was determined to have her face painted and withstood the storm in line to ensure she had her face painted. If you have followed my previous stories

you might be aware how quite often we spend hours in line waiting for face painting often moving close to having it done only for the face painters to close shop.

Out of the 20+ times we have waited in line this is the second time little miss has had her face painted! Success!

Mum had to work at the hospital today so she wasn't able to join us but Nan came along to join in on the family fun and we had an absolute ball riding the zip line and

both riding down the extra large slide!

Over 200 families attended the event marking one of the best sporting day events we have had in our community for a long time starting at 10am finishing at 3:30pm

It was a full day with plenty of time to explore and enjoy what the event had on offer.

We look forward to the next event and can't wait to do more exploring!

Goooood day Motherhood how are we all today?

I thought I would provide a different addition to our wonderful community group by taking you all on a tour of the Serendip Sanctuary which is located south-west of Melbourne.

In Australia we have a broad range of unique animals and more famously known are the Kangaroos and Wallibies that always peak intrest from international people.

The Serendip Sacntuary is one of our favorite places mainly because it is FREE and there isn't anything better in life than free things :)

Here you will find a range of different Australian native birds and animals and has been established as a oasis around wetlands to protect the native wild life. People are able to visit the

grounds between 8am and 4pm each day with public toilets and BBQ facilities which is also a great location to host a birthday party for kids.

The weather wasn't the best and a lot of the animals remained hidden away to keep warm but we still managed to see the endangered Australian Bustard which is a large land based bird that doesn't really fly much. It has become endangered since colonisation due to the introduction of cats, dogs and foxes which the bird is of easy prey to.

It nests on the ground rather than in trees and unlike the native Emu which has strong legs, razor sharp claws that can cut through steel the Australian Bustard is left quite defenceless.

We did manage to see some Kangaroos and of course wallibies throughout the grounds before it started raining and we had to retreat to the car.

There are bird watchers huts located throughout the park that overlook the wetlands and bird sanctuary where if the season is right you can see over 150 species of different birds that fly in to migrate. Some native some from other parts of the globe.

The kids had a wonderful experience touring the grounds despite the weather and got really excited at the different animals throughout the park even the giant Australian Geese which are not as aggressive as their european counterparts.

Please it back and enjoy our journey through Serendip Sanctuary and if you're ever in Australia pop by for a wonder through the park. Please be aware that while Kangaroos, Emus and Wallibies look cuddly and friendly they can also be highly aggressive and dangerous.

The animals have razor sharp claws that are able to easily slash through flesh leaving people with significant injuries that could potentially lead to death. They will often at times come up to you as they are enquisitive but if they feel threatened will strike and people have been killed by these beautiful animals.

Do you have a fun activity you like to do with your kids or places you like to visit? I would love to see a video or learn more about what you have on offer for families in your country and see the beautiful country side of your nation.

Good day HomeEdders the weather is starting to get a little warmer here in the land down under although there was an icy blast the last few days but the weekend was quite nice.

The family and I decided to head out on an excursion to the wonderful Melbourne CBD where there is currently an installation at Docklands called Imaginaria. Now you might be wondering why I am posting in Home Edders and there is good reason.

Imaginaria is a giant play space inside a 900m2 inflatable bubble that incorporates light, sound, smell, touch and imagination. As stated on it's website it is a celebration of imagination, technology and play and made the perfect location to take the kids so they can learn about the different

visuals, light and physics in a fun and playful manner.

Little Miss' favourite thing was the leap of faith where you could jump off into a giant inflatable bottom pit. I have to admit it didn't look scary but I gave it a try and once you were up there it was very dark and the way the lights were designed it gave the impression you were a lot higher than you were.

It took me a hesitated jump and then a full commitment to do it and I loved it! Little miss just kept lining up to keep doing it!

There was also an interactive light ball where you could touch to move the light inside the ball as if it was a liquid. A light maze was a great addition which didn't look that hard but once you were in you really couldn't tell which was was out!

In the centre of the installation was a giant inflatable bed kind of thing that rotated and a camera above provided a distorted mirror image that when you moved gave the impression of a Thano's click which I found fun. My favourite thing to do was the inflatable tunnel. This thing was easy 10 meters long with a small entry and exit hole.

The first time I went through with the family it was good fun and then the next 6 times I raced little miss from entry to exit and size was on her side! It is very hard to move about as an adult male. I cheated a few times and launched myself in the air and landed near hear to launch her in the hopes of winning. Unfortunatly both times it just launched her forward.

I did however, manage to give a few of the other people some laughs as they went flying also.

You're only supposed to be in for one hour but due to many people still being COVID shy there wasn't many people at the event so we managed to kill 3 hours playing around with all the different awesome sciency things.

We also found an artificial inteligence bot which isn't seen in the video as we found it on the way out. No joke, I offended to AI and it turned itself off after it told me that it didn't appreciate what I was saying and I didn't even say anything bad, I was just trying to confuse it.

A wonderful learning experience for the whole family all though little bloke was a little scared he is still coming to grips that there is an entire world out and about.

Goooood day fellow pinmapples I hope you have been safe and well exploring the world once again!.

This weekend we headed out for a bush walk with the Eynesbury Environmental Group in the Victorian Grey Box Forrest located in Melbourne's West in a smallish community called Eynesbury.

This bush walk isn't just any old bush walks and the significance of this location to the broader Victorian state far extends beyond it's rich Aboriginal culture of the Wadawurrung people.

As seen in the video we are welcomed to country by Barry Gilson and he takes us on a tour of much of the land including scar trees that were once carved out to make coolomons, shields and canoes.

The Grey Box Forest is 288 hectares and is the largest remaining forests of it's kind south of the Great Dividing Range. So if you want to see what Victoria looked like prior to English settlement this is one of the only places left that you can still experience the real Australian bush.

Just to clarify as there are many parts of Australia that still have large vegitation but Victoria has quite a number of different climates and environments with Victoria being highly populated much of its flat planes were clear of all the trees to make way for agriculture. As a result much of Victoria is now bare, this is kind of Victoria's actual Ferntree Gully, the last rainforest kind of story.

As we walk through some tracks you will notice that the grases are native (although there are weeds) but if you take special notice to the ground you will notice how clear it is. That is because for thousands of years much of this land was controlled by fire and archiological and environmental investigation has been able to map out where fire was used and how.

As we get to the peak of our walk we reach the Eynesbury waterfall, although I didn't get a good angle on it as it started to rain and I didn't want to slip in the area uphere is cleared and maintained. Fire was used to ensure the clearing remained and Aboriginal huts with stone base remnents still remain today.

As the linked article above further describes there are over 133 native birds that come here to breed and some are on the endangered species list which require protection. As such the area does not allow residents who reside close by to own a cat due to their destructive nature of the native wild life.

Koala's, Kangaroos, reptiles and a broad range of native Australian animals can be found in the Grey Box Forrest for many this is the last stint at life as Australia's urban sprawl continues to push outwards into former farm land and areas such as this one.

It is a stark reminder that we need to remember to protect the land around us as it isn't promised forever.

Good day everyone I hope you're all safe and well!

It is winter here in Australia and although it isn't as cold as other parts of the world it is still quite chilly out. One thing we don't have in Australia in an accessible location is snow and ice.

At times and certain places we may get a little bit of snow or the waterways frost over but ice skating is not somthing we get to do.

But this weekend my family and I headed to the Eynesbury Winter Festival where they have implemented a man made ice rink along with some really fun activities for the whole family.

So we were able to sit back, roast some marshmellows and have ourselves a wonderful time.

So please, join us on our journey and let me know what you think!

Hive Changing Peoples Lives

Good morning Lions I trust you are safe and well I'm not sure about the roaring into action as yet because the markets are down and Bitcoin is trading in the red which, as we know is bringing everything down with it.

But without focusing on the negatives I wanted to focus on Hive itself today. Created as a stand alone blockchain focusing on social media Hive continues to grow with a broad range of developments occuring from Decentralised Finance (De-Fi) to online gaming.

That isn't all it is doing in the broader picture of Web3. Hive is actually changing lives.

If you have followed me for sometime you may have seen a previous video I produced around how people in Venezuela were earning Hive through blogging to purchase food and other things like paying accomodation costs and even purchasing cars.

Another focused on how communities in South East Asia were using Hive income to build roads, this is pretty impressive stuff.

However, today we can top that with the Hive Empowers Communities Project which has supported a community in Ghana, West Africa build a borehole and provide clean drinking water to their community.

Now this wasn't just a small project this was something that has become quite large with community leaders attending the official launch which can be read on the follow up article by the group Agona-Bedomase Hive Water Project was Finally Opened for Community Consumption Today which also brought out the local pastor for the community and a prayer was held for the community event.

Clean water had been a challenge in the area according to the community leader who has been advocating for support fomr the Direct Assembly. When they community learned it was made possible not by the Direct Assembly but Hive blockchain they thanked the broader Hive community for their efforts.

A large cohort of the community attended the official opening which is life changing stuff. As a westerner we have the luxuary to have clean drinking water in each home just by turning on a tap. For many around the globe that is a luxuary.

The market might be down today and you maybe hurting over lost funds, but in a small regional community in Ghana, West Africa an entire community has access to clean drinking water because of web3.

Amazing.

Atom Cosmos: Cross-Chain DEX Rise

Good morning Lions I trust you are safe and well riding out the current market down turn which hasn't been to bad overall and slight market gains.

3Speak Stats were out a few days ago and I ranked top 5 content creators and my Tik Tok is also starting to pick up which is a great thing for Hive Blockchain with more viewers seeing the brand.

I've popped together a quick Vlog in regards to Atom and it's Cosmos eco system and IBC protocol.

But building on more questions from yesterays Blog How Big is the Cosmos we had some questions about what is unique about Inter-Blockchain Connection.

In short it takes things to a whole new level never before seen, as we covered in the previous blogs any chain is able to participate in cross chain through installing the IBC protocol. There are some discussions around double spends which Atom has developed Hubs so every transaction needs to go through a hub prior to going to the new Network to ensure double spending of tokens doesn't occur.

But beyond just swapping tokens from one chain to the next there is a real benefit of cross chain Decentralised Exchanges (DEX) which are set to make a lot more money than previous protocols.

Osmosis still remains one of my top cross chain DEX but now we are starting to see more come online with the clone of Pancake Swap launching called Burger Swap. Although I am not too sure how well it will go into the future but it should still gain some traction being built on Binance Smart Chain which has a significant amount of clients utilising the chain on a daily basis.

I'm excited to see what else comes to fruitition with cross chain development. What are some of your use cases you think it solves?

Investors beware, Luna continues to fail in governance

When a project fails and the team announces plans for recovery we hold onto hope that things will return and we have faith for those in lead. However, as each day goes by, more red flags continue to appear.

A recent announcement was to Fork the network however, TerraForm Labs voted their own proposal to not fork but create an entirely new blockchain and will be hosting a genisis launch.

But things get worse with more red flags that are of significant concern watch for more information.

Will Luna rise again, we explore some interesting developments

Good morning Lions I trust you are safe and well and roaring into action.

Another day and it is looking like TerraForm Labs finally has some sound direction but will it be enough or is the community still hurt?

In yesterday's article Authorities Move in on TerraForm Labs as Do Kwon sets out the future we announced how Do Kwon will be forking the network and broke down the upcoming airdrop to the Terra 2.0 network.

Don't get too excited, these tokens will be vested for 2 to 4 years.

The question that has the entire sector asking is Will Terra Rise Again?

This is a good question but we are going to side with Terra and say yes, why? Well a lot of VC's invested heavilty in the project andthey lost a lot of money in the collapse. UST was also in the process of going mainstream so it's collapse came at a good time (if there ever is one).

Imagine had UST been accepted by murchants as mainstream payments and the collapse occurred, this would have left a lot more people out in the cold with businesses collapsing. We have to remember that UST was still being widely used in East Asia with many people undertaking regular purchases through payment systems.

Luna isn't the first blockchain to experience significant set backs with many blockchains coming under attack and hacks and reemerging and regaining trust. Thor Chain is one such network and they have recently thrown their support behind Terra and decided that they will continue to validate the old network also.

Someone else also thinks that the former chain which will be known as Luna Classic is also going to do something as they have picked up 1.8 Billion Luna tokens as well as a large quantity of UST and Anchor tokens. That is a significant risk to take in a failing project, unless you knew something?

Crypto Fall Out Across the Cosmos

No blockchain has been hit harder than the Cosmos with the fall out of UST as many of its trading pairs we Luna and UST. As Luna began to fall in price and UST depeg it sent the Cosmos into what some are now calling a Cryptocession. It appears that the Cosmos have entered a recession which may take some time to climb out of.

A recent proposal on Atom has successfully passed at 99% drawing out an overwhelming majority of voters (the best I have seen to date) to remove Luna and UST pairs. The strong turn out indicates that a lot of people dislike Luna.

Will it rise?

No one can answer that question but given the heavy institutional losses and recent activity I think the new fork will regin market confidence and with the large amount of VC they will be back again.

What are your thoughts, will Terra 2.0 rise from the Ashes? if it does it will be one of cryptos greatest sucess stories.

Still no certainty for Luna

Luna investors are no closer to centainty on their investment as yet as many still await a verdict of whats to happen with the remainder of the Luna Foundation Guard holding.

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance recently getting involved on the action as the community has called him to account. Changpeng has stated smaller retail investors should be compensated which is a smart move given this event has the capacity to ensure no new investors join Cryptocurrency. reimbursing the smallest wallets first ensure confidence to the users and maintains some form of trust.

Changpend has also come out stating that he is willing to put his own investment worth $1.6 Billion last or out of the equation but it might be easier for him to have this position given Binance is the largest crypto exchange and continues to gain funds through swap fees. Also his initial investment of $US3,000,000 is most likely a small write off the company is willing to take a move many investors can not afford.

Previous data taken before the cash further showcased that 96% of Luna wallets held less than 100 Luna. This indicates the project was still in its infancey and the majority of investors being retail investors.

Do Kwon, Founder of TerraForm Labs recently put out a call to action on Twitter requesting Terra developers support a bid to fork the network and commit to building on the new network.

Much of the community is in uproar at this decision and even Changpeng has spoken against it stating it would be better to buy back and burn Luna.

Chances are that Do Kwon WILL fork the network and recommence and in an earlly Twitter post the founder spoke of not having an algorithmic stable coin but a collatoralised one. So it looks as if the initial investors may well be getting left behind and will need to drum up new cash to invest in the new Luna.

There are talks of airdrops but to who and when is uncertain but chances are a large quantity of airdrop recepients will be selling.

What are your thoughts on the recent development in the Terra Luna Network. Will it rise again or do you believe it will simply just fade away in the sunset?

Bitcoin Enters Dangerous Territory

Good morning Lions I trust you have been safe and well and roaring into action.

The market is in a bit of a flurry as Bitcoin enters dangerous territory trading on it's seventh consecutive day in the red which hasn't been seen since 2014. However, Bitcoin was only trading at around $US560 a coin not the tens of thousands it is today.

2020 brought on the largest crash at the emergence of the COVID19 pandemic as people thought the world was ending but it didn't and shortly after Bitcoin reached new all time highs as mainstream media began reporting on Bitcoin millionaires.

The market turmoil doesn't solely surround Bitcoin as the Dow Jones is also suffering heavy losses and as we know the Crypto currency market is heavily tied to the mainstream markets.

However, the Crypto market cap has dropped from $US1.7 Trillion to $US1.2 Trillion suffering a $US500 Billion dollar loss within a week which now makes it's previous highs in the middle of the pandamic of $US2.8 Trillion seem unreachable.

No doubt the market is reacting to recent announcement that nations move to tackle inflation by increasing interest rates. During the pandemic many nations across the globe provided economic stimulus packages to keep their economies from collapsing. This has led to record level inflation rates with many governments now trying to raise interest rates to combat inflation. A move many are calling dangerous as it will risk the global economy especially with the war between Ukraine and Russia causing significant financial impacts across all nations and economies.

This is also playing out in Elon Musk's deal to purchase Twitter for $US44 Billion now on hold with many people asking why. Elon Musk is not an uneducated man and is financially smart.

Seeing the current economic downturn which is impacting techcompanies the greatest his $US44 Billion dollar offer is yesterdays price on todays losses. We can expect to see the Tesla CEO renegotiate his offer for a much lower offer.

Why are Tech Companies suffering the greatest loses?

Simply put, the pandemic is coming to an end. Tech companies soared during the pandemic has billions of people remained home they relied on technology to remain connected to each other and pass the time. Now that the pandemic is coming to an end people are opting for real world connections over online ones. If you were ever hoping the Metaverse would be a successful venture then you need to research peoples behaviours. Quite clearly tech gets pushed to the back once people can go outdoors again.

Will technology companies be able to pivot or will they now subside is yet to be seen we have advanced quite significantly as a society due to the technology developed and it would be a shame to see it wasted.

Do you think the market will recover or is it too returning to prepandemic levels?

Let me know in the comments section below.

How the Luna Crash Unfolded

Good morning Lions I trust you have all been safe and well. So it's been almost a week since the Luna - UST peg broke and we've done some digging to get to the bottom of what happened. To be honest it wasn't all that hard all we had to do is follow Do Kwon's twitter profile and hindsight is a wonderful thing and in Luna's incident the writing was on Do Kwons Twitter account.

On the 6th of May Do Kwon purchased $US1.5 Billion in Bitcoinand he didn't do this on the market he purchased the Bitcoin of a private firm. For obvious reasons such a large purchase order would have greatly impacted the market and sent the price of Bitcoin soaring. Which in hindsigh would have been a better outcome.

The money being used to purchase the Bitcoin wasn't from capital raised it was gifted to Luna Foundation Guard straight from the liquidity pool.

This explains the all time highs and then lows right after it I guess.

Now that the firm has $US1.5 Billion worth of UST they begin searching for the many liquidity pools Do Kwon has established in an attempt to expand Luna. They begin dumping UST and buying back the Bitcoin for less than what they sold it to Kwon.

The selling of hundreds of Millions worth of UST causes a depeg which commences panic on the network. Then stupidly LFG deploys $US1.5 Billion worth of Bitcoin and commenced buying back UST. This brings down the price of Bitcoin and raises UST.

Seeing the network breaking the private firm begins to panic and as Do Kwon is refilling the liquidity pools and bringing back the peg the private firm empties their UST reserves.

Now that Do Kwon has lowered the price of Bitcoin the firm now rebuys bitcoin for a heavily reduced price.

Doesn't matter what anyone did as what ever steps the network took to correct the dip the firm had the same amount to keep dumping and draining the pools. LFG should have probably deployed the whole Bitcoin reserve and increased UST's value.

Instead the network massively depegged, the firm pocketed the Bitcoin with massive profits and the network collapsed.

What's the future plan?

Do Kwon has finally gone public with his "thoughts" on what should happen next at current Do Kwon is proposing:

The Terra community must reconstitute the chain to preserve the community and the developer ecosystem.

Validators should reset the network ownership to 1B tokens, distributed among:

  • 400M (40%) to Luna holders before the depegging event (last $1 tick before the depeg on Binance should be reasonable), bLuna, LunaX and Luna held in contracts should also be recipients, minus the Terraform Labs account at terra1dp0taj85ruc299rkdvzp4z5pfg6z6swaed74e6. The new chain should be community owned. Preserving decent ownership of the network in its strongest believers and builders is important.
  • 400M (40%) to UST holders pro-rata at the time of the new network upgrade. UST holders need to be made whole as much as possible
  • 100M (10%) to Luna holders at the final moment of the chain halt – last minute marginal luna buyers should be compensated for their role in attempting to provide stability for the network
  • 100M (10%) to the Community Pool to fund future development.
  • All Luna besides the third tranche should be staked at the network genesis state.
  • The network should incentivize its security with a reasonable inflation rate, say 7%, as fees will no longer be enough to pay for security without the swap fees.

Late entries cry sour

The proposal is still underway and we will need to wait some time for an outcome but it has caught many off guard and angry as there were a large portion of investors who jumped into Luna's fire expecting it to return to the beg. In all things being crypto they were probably fueling the fire and adding more liquidity to be drained.

Now they want to be reimbursed also which is an odd stance given they were taking a risk when they saw it breaking and got wiped. This is akin to walking into a burning building than complaining when you get burned.

Luna foundation guard is currently assessing what happenend and I look forward to their verdict.

I have further noticed that exchanges have turned on trading for Luna once again and investors should note that Luna proposal is to fork the network so chances are you are buying one of the most expensive meme coins currently on the market.

It is an unfair move by exchanges that are profiting off trading fees for a token that in all likelyhood will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

What's next for TerraForm Labs and Luna?

Good morning Lions I trust you are safe and well and enjoyed my new introduction sound, thought it added to the overall experience.

It has been an interesting week with the broader crypto market showing signs of recovery once again leaving disenfranchised people off side. Many expected Crypto to end but as we have come to learn there is more institutional investers than we would like currently playing in the Decentralised Finance world, but more on that soon.

There are currently discussions on forking the network and taking a snapshot of people prior to the May 6th attack and despite sounding like the Wolf of Wall Street "I will not leave" Do Kwon has conceded that future UST will be collateralised. This will no doubt also see UST growing a lot slower or atleast appearing in liquidity pools alot slower.

Kwon has to do something

The issue Do Kwon faces is that TerraForm Labs is a registered company in South Korea and more recently in Singapore which have some of the strictest punishments for financial crimes. If Do Kwon doesn't rebuild and make good on his investors than chances are he is going to need to leave the country real quick or face some heavy penalities.

The question on everyones mind is, who will get what?

Institutional investors Beyond Luna

The events that unfolded are not illegal (yet) because crypto is unregulated but if mainstream firms pulled that on a exchange they'd need to be on the next flight to Panama or risk heavy penalites or jail.

The question needs to be asked, should the sector be regulated against such behaviour as the Billion or so dumped caused hundreds of thousands to lose money and a company to collapse. Noting that the full responsibility lays with Do Kwon as it is his company and he should have had fail safes in place to freeze the network or prevent such attacks.

Do Kwon's Safety at risk

Reports are circulating that Do Kwon's personal safety has been put at risk with someone breaking into his home which is a frighening debacle to be in. Understandably alot of people have lost alot of money but these are the risks when we play in this market. Not to sound dismissive as I also lost alot of money which was going towards my own project, furniture for the home I am building and a short holiday.

But my thoughts are with not only the investors but the developers on Luna as over the past six to twelve months I have personally met and shared articles about the teams behind the scenes developing and pouring their hear and soul into what they see is the future.

You can not help but feel for them as they have seen their projects and their jobs destroyed and reports are going around that people are self harming. Please, I would urge anyone in this situation to reach out and speak with someone. If you need to please feel free to DM on Twitter or Discord I would be more than happy to talk with you through this rough period of time.

The dangers of Crypto

Furthermore, Luna's collapse is one for the history books and the first big enough collapse the be felt right across the broader crypto markets. Even if Do Kwon can rebuild Terra (Luna) Network it is going to be some time before people retrust the protocol but this being Crypto we have seen others return from collapse so anything is possible.

What are your thoughts? do you think Luna will make a comeback or is it dead in the water?

Luna's collapse has brought down the entire decentralised economy

Good morning Lions oh wow! what a day we have on our hands so many questions and not many answers as Do Kwon parachutes himself to public enemy number one.

This is quite the market collapse will we see Luna recover? maybe, maybe not but I want to look a little deeper than that to see the broader economic damage Luna has caused beyond it's own network.

I think a core issue that has led us here today is the Luna Foundation Guards decision to back UST with Bitcoin which I recently wrote about as being a bad idea. Backing one volitile asset with another was never going to end well and LFG should have backed Luna not UST with real world assets like precious metals or fiat.

Most depegs and crashes occur during a market crash so Luna selling Bitcoin to stabalise UST is bringing the market further down far beyond just the Luna ecosystem. As UST was growing in popularity and many tokens were paired with it it further brought many of the other tokens down with it.

Sadly this event is no where near over and can rapidly get worse due to UST's rapid growth, widespread adoption and it's Bitcoin reserves dumping.

Even once UST repegs another catalystic event could potentially occur once all those buying UST unpegged sell to make a profit as it repegs sending the entire blockchain ecosystem on another death spiral.

It's going to take a lot to get us out of this one.

Heavy Heart for the Luna Projects

We can't talk about the crash without extending our thoughts to those who have spent months building and developing projects on Luna only to awake to their projects rapidly declining and turning to dust. As someone who has slowly been working on my own project I know the hours of operation and own money spent and like many, much of my project has turned to dust. Ontop of my own investments in Luna....

This is a monumental crash, one that won't be easily forgetten and despite Do Kwon's reassurance that he will rebuild there is another aspect that requires careful consideration. Customers, will he have the investors to support his endevours?

Only time will tell.

Don't forget to like, share and subscribe for more awesome content!

Knives are out as Luna dives and UST briefly breaks its peg

Well, well, well what a scene that is occuring over at Terra (Luna) Network with some significant FUD brought on by a single wallet dump.

It was only a few days ago where Do Kwon paired 1 Billion UST and provided liquidity over at Curve Finance one of the leading stable coin Decentralised Exchanges (DEXs) on the Ethereum Network.

It only took someone a matter of seconds to cause Terra (Luna) Network to spiral into mass losses with a single wallet selling $US300 Million worth of UST on Curve Finance and Binance exchange 1source.

The sale accounted for 62% of total trades and it was a large enough sell off to cause others to start dumping UST in fear and it has spread its wings to Luna as UST is being dumped it is being burned into Luna causing everyone else left holding the bag and wearing the losses.

Luna suffered a 15% dive in value the largest decline to date in this Crypto crash but it is showing signs of recovery or atleast consolidating around the $US61 mark per Luna token.

It is yet to be seen if the Luna Foundation Guard Bitcoin reserves have kicked in and with Do Kwon investing $US1.5 Billion in Bitcoin right before the market crash we are yet to see if it has been switched on.

However, Luna continues to progress with a new listing on Thailands largest crypto exchange Bitkub which is also majority owned by a mainstream bank Siam Commercial Bank so we can expect to see Luna grow in South Asian markets.

Despite all this UST continues to stay relatively pegged at .99c US providing some arbitrage opportunities for investors.

So what are your thoughts, will Luna bounce back?

Luna purchases $US1.5 Billion in Bitcoin and the interest rate hikes that don't add up

Gooooood morning or not so good as we enter this market dip kicked off by a US Federal Reserve comment about raising interest rates, but we'll get to that soon. First I want to talk about Luna Foundation Guard.

The Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) has just added $US1.5 Billion in Bitcoin to their reserves to help maintain their stable coin, the UST's peg.

As we can see from the current market action their reserves are coming in quite well, although I don't know how much of it has actually been the reserve as UST and Luna seem to be doing really well even despite taking a hit it briefly over took Solana for 7th position. Exciting times to see if Luna will maintain or continue on it's trajectory.

Do Kwon is also on track to meeting his ambitious goal of $US10 Billion in Bitcoin as a reserve for UST which will put LFG in one of the top 10 Bitcoin holders.

But lets talk about this interest rate hike that makes no sense and is completely uncalled for which first lets cover why it makes no sense.

Traditionally interest rate hikes are utilised to curb spending and tackle inflation in summary, what that means is that we're all too rich and have too much money so instead of taxing us they hike interest rates to stop people spending money.

The announcement from the US Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell to increase interest rates by half a percentage cause a shock move from some tech company who decided it was best to dump their Bitcoin and pay down debt which set the Crypto sector into frenzie.

The problem with this approach is that wages are stagnant and at an all time low with people unable to make ends meet. So the issue doesn't sit well with the commoners (us) because we were told to spend now we get punished.

Also with stagnant wages there has been huge corporate profits so the issue isn't so much that WE have too much money but rather that the Bankers and the elite have too much money and obviously they aren't going to tax themselved but rather come after us.

UST Achieves mainstreamisation now you can book flights and holidays on Travala!

It's quite the exciting time to be involved in the decentralised world with many new advancements taking the sector by storm each and everyday. But today, today is a new day one where mainstreamisation and adoption wins.

Bitcoin's main allure has been people waiting for it to be accepted as legal tender and, some of that has been achieved in smaller nations like El Salvador. Where the announcements are exciting for crypto enthusiasts they fall short from achieving real change.

If you're planning on a holiday and involved in Bitcoin it might seem like the great offer but it isn't why people invest in cryptocurrency. A holiday is probably on everyone's to do list not their today list. Their today list comprises of lifting their quality of life where they are.

For Bitcoin to be able to do that, it needs to become accepted and a lot of work must go into the old giant with much of the network clunky and out of date for current new world purposes.

Terra (Luna) Network's UST has just achieved mass adoption in the real world with it now being able to be used to purchase holidays all inclusive of flights, accommodation travel with the platform also providing cash back offers after your stay.

Alice has launched it's crypto debit card built on he Terra (Luna) Network which is downloadable from Google and Apple stores. You can now pay for just about anything with their debit card with the app

taking care of fiat transfers and conversions so you don't have to worry! Bidali has also just launched with the ability to purchase anything from Amazon to Playstation store.

The wait is finally over and UST has beat everyone to the finish line.

Stay tuned as over the next few months I will be buying UST and saving up for a Holiday and provide a walkthrough on Travala on how I did it and my experiences

In breaking news the worlds largest sporting body partners with Algorand to develop it's digital asset strategy and explore the most cutting edge technology that will help increase FIFA's revenue stream.

At 46,000 Transactions Per Second (TPS) Algorand is no slow network and we can look forward to seeing official FIFA NFT's, memorabillia and payments systems deploying on the Algorand Blockchain.

Algorand is a Pure-Proof-of-Stake network which means participants don't need to delegate their tokens in order to validate their network they simply stake their tokens and the system randomises who it chooses to approve transactions.

This in turn creates a more secure and safer network while also enabling a lot more people to participate in validating the networks transactions and approving transactions.

What are your thoughts, Did FIFA select the right blockchain as a partner or should they have chosen another network? let me know in the comments section below.

When Do Kwon established TerraForm Labs he revolutionised Decentralised Finance better known as De-Fi. He didn't want to change the financial system he wanted to beat it in a decentralised way.

Anchor Protocol which has been the flag ship protocol on Terra (Luna) Network continues to grow by enabling people to collateralise other network tokens and borrow against them.

With Ethereum, Atom and AVAX now available to be provided to borrow against, Solana is the next token to be brought across to Anchor which will see two competeing blockchains further battle it out.

getting a flat tyre is never a fun experience and chances are it's either happened as you're about to leave home to somewhere important or on the way to somewhere important. for me, it occurred while heading out to take little miss for coffee and as we've just ended daylight savings not too long ago, it means it's already dark!

I thought I'd turn a bad event into a tutorial because I know still till this day there are a lot of people that still don't know how to change a tyre. so bear with me while I try to record and walk you through the steps of changing a tyre.

first step should be to loosen the wheel nuts as doing this while the wheel is elevated will be alot harder. you dont want to completely undo them, just loosen them.

next step is to locate the little cut in your car for your jack that's located in your boot fits into. all modern cars now come with a little noticeable gap that makes it easier for people to change their tyres. its reinforced and the easiest spot to jack up your car thay wont cause any issues.

jack up your car high enough so that you'll be able to remove the tyre and be able to slide in your spare which is located in the boot which is also where all your cars wheel change tools can be found that come stock standard with your car.

once it is elevated you can now easily remove the nuts once they're off and you bring your spare tyre in you will need to align your wheels holes with the bolt and with one big lift slot them in.

As you begin to replace the nuts it is best to start from the bottom making sure your tyre is pushed all the way back.

just like taking the nuts off dont do them too tight as it will be easier once the car is lowered.

retract the jack and now that your car is back on the ground tighten the nuts again starting from the bottom.

replace the tools and the flat tyre in the allocated boot position. check that all the nuts are tight and the wherl is in place and you're good to go!

chateaubriand steak

Good day Foodies I trust you have been great! So I got really lucky the other week and didn't realise my butcher had a point system that for every x amount of $ spent you received points which could be redeemed for cash. Turns out after 3 years I had 156 points and with every 1 point = $1 I had $156!

So I decided to splurge and picked myself up a Rib Eye tenderloin this bad boy was almost 2kgs and I decided to cook a few meals over a series of nights with it.

For my first meal I went for the wonderful chateaubriand steak, now this isn't too fancy and it doesn't really mean anything other than the way it is cooked. It was developed in France and I have to admit once you have eaten a steak cooked this way you will never eat steak anyother way!

For the ingredients I use:

500g beef tenderloin (rib eye fillet)

60g butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium shallot, finely chopped

300ml cream

1 cups beef stock

200gm brown mushrooms

Salt and Pepper

To Cook

preheat oven to 190°C, while oven is heating coat steak in salt and pepper to taste.

Heat a fry pan on medium high heat and melt butter and olive oil then add the meat. Cook each side of the meat for 3 minutes. (Do not discard juices this will make the sauce).

Transfer to a roasting pan and roast in oven for:

Medium Rare – 15 minutes

Medium – 20 minutes

Medium well – 23 minutes

Well done – 26 minutes (Don’t choose this one, please)

Once cooked to desired liking remove from oven and cover with aluminum foil and let rest for 15 minutes.

To make sauce reheat fry pan to medium heat, add shallot. Once translucent add mushrooms until the brown than add garlic and mix until fragrant than add beef stock and bring to the boil and reduce to half the amount.

Add cream and simmer until sauce begins to thicken.

Slice meat and serve with sauce and your choice of sides.

I decided to splurge a bit and made potato bake which is a lovely dish I don't cook all that often but everyone enjoys quite a lot.

Stay tuned for my next segment where I make a Asian inspired Beef Stir Fry and then follow it up with a home made slow cooked Beef Pie!

The Apprentice Becomes the Master

If you're just tuning in for the first time then allow me to introduce you to little miss and little bloke my two litte ones. If you have missed our kitchen adventures cooking is something little miss and I have done since the day she was born (me a little longer but it doesn't really count). Little Miss helps me with all the cooking and she has even started helping with the cleaning up which is fantastic and lets face it, not the job anyone really likes so if we can get help it is much welcomed.

Cooking has been my go to thing with little miss as it includes a large number of other life skills that are vital. To cook you need to be able to understand measurements which includes maths, read what ingredients are, weigh things. It's a form of chemestry so you learn what proteins bond together well and what ones dont, builds hand eye coordination (probably not a good place to have poor coordination especially with a sharp knife!). most importantly you need to be able to follow instructions until you remember something well enough to do it on your own.

For little Miss French toast is that recipe she now knows off by heart and it is one of her favourite morning breakfasts and quite often her go to every Sunday morning. Although we are now approaching holiday period so we have some time off work and we get to spend a little more time together doing what we love, cooking.

However, we have had someone new join us in the kitchen recently, Little bloke! he has become a lot more active and aware of his surroundings and is now as each day passes becoming more engaging and more independent. It is such a magical and special thing to see happen. It is one thing COVID has provided me with, more time with my family and I see it as a gift. One that with all the challenges and barriers that came with it was worth it as it provided me an insight into what was and is important.

My life previously was getting up at 6am and not getting back home until late at night often missing out on seeing Little Miss in the first two years, I was just someone who was there on the weekends. I can't explain it but it has completely changed the family dinamics at home where I have been taking more of the primary carer role as my wife embarks on her journey in her career (hurry up and make a few million so I can retire early and stay home full time lol).

I've been making a few movies for @Foodiesbeehive and little miss asked to have her own made but I thought it was a lot more fitting in @homeedders to showcase her skills and development. Little Miss at 5 years old making French toast with her brother closely by her side waiting eagerly to do the same. I once taught her how to cook and now she teaches her brother, it is an odd feeling being on this side of the bench.

Good day peeps!

It has been some time since I have posted in the group and I have missed you all but due to a busy schedule and life I haven't had anything of value to contribute to the group. I have been following the OCD curation account so I hope my votes have still been delivered to the many wonderful posts and contributions this group provides Hive.

I wanted to share with you a project that was recently launched in the City of Melton that had the aim of bringing people back together after lockdown and revitalising our community called Illuminate Melton.

Since the pandemic and work from home orders local communities have seen an increase in economic activity and people have been reluctent to return to office work. This has seen an increase in employment opportunities locally and increases in local trades.

It has also provided the opportunity for local governments that traditionally wouldn't have spent as much money on their local community in entertainment and art to rethink the way their cities are currently operating. Many people still wish to participate and enjoy the beauty of life but they don't want to be crammed on trains or stuck in traffic to do so.

As many of you may recall from my early posts my wife is the local councillor elected to the City of Melton and has been a firm advocate for investment in outer municipalities which lead to a better quality of life as families get to spend more time with eachother, are more able to share the home life workload and the environmental benefits of not having millions of cars travelling on freeways each days are significant as public transport is one of the largest pollutants on the planet.

The City of Melton recently kicked off the revitalisation of Melton by bringing in renowened Australian visual artist Carla O'Brien whom worked tirelessly over a number of nights to set up many neon lights in stunning displays for all to enjoy.

You might be wondering why I am sharing this here, that is because this design concept is actually called Glowwave and surrounds things that glow either on their own or with the assitence of UV lights.

The design style is more readily associated with the popular rave scene it dates back to quite some time ago and has its roots in the hippie culture surrounding free love and first appeared in the 1960s and 1970s.

Although early forms were at times quite toxic as the chemicals used back then to make things glow were also known to cause radiation poisoning. So not the best of early starts but the technology has now advanced to be more safer.

Glowwave also makes an appearence in fashion although not often and as previously stated is more aligned to rave parties in todays culture and the construction industry due to its high visibility on dangerous worksites.

The event in iteself was a magical experience and one everyones family enjoyed with silent films and lots of local traders and entertainment!

I magaed to dub the live band over the top of the clip I put together of the event, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Gooooood day Foodies we're back again with some awesome home recipes and tonights show we are cooking crispy chicken burgers. Tonight's recipe also has something in it for everyone as my kids love to eat chicken nuggets so I will often take a handfull of the recipe base and create some home made chicken nuggets that they enjoy.

When it comes to burgers I think chicken is something you can't go past especially when it is crumbed in panko bread crumbs for that additional crunch!

This recipe consists of half a kilo of Chicken breast mince, Salt, Pepper, Garlic and Parsley. Now there are a few ways to make chicken burgers and there is no right or wrong way to do it so I would like to hear about your recipes and what you include in your chicken mince.

For toppings I used mozzeralla cheese, avocado, mayonase and lettuce but you can get creative.

That crispiness and juicy chicken patty is what a chicken burger is all about!

OK ok Listen up Home Edders I have some exciting news! That is that Little miss can now read! Oh I literally started crying today just a few hours ago. Literallt picked up a book, opened it and she went My Cat.. and I sheepishly interrupted to call mumma bear over to hear.

Then in all 5 year old fashion she pretended she couldn't read and started adding words that weren't there like "My Stinky Dad" and a few other naughty things.

But we were back on track and back to reading almost properly but as all parents know once you rip out the camera to document such things kids play up a fair bit lol.

I have to admit I had been wondering how long and when she would be able to start reading words, we have picked up the reading a lot more at home and although Dad is a little cheeky at times by reading work documents which aren't as fun as kids books (Killing two birds one stone) We do pick up a few of her favourite books most nights.

How old were your kids when they started to recognise words and read them? It has been a challenge as the English language and the alphabet aren't all that compatible and I still remember when little miss started talking and the use of words was a challenge to get through as sometimes words can have similar meanings or mean different things for the same word.

Also English doesn't have male and female pronouns there is just about a word for everything which again makes things harder and when you compound the fact that sometimes letters are pronounced differently depending on the word oh my, no wonder why it is so hard to teach someone to read.

Eitherway, I was beyond joyous today when I herd my little girl read all by herself that I wanted to share it all with you also.

I guess there are some bad things though like not being able to spell words to my partner when talking about my little one or when we are planning to go somewhere. Also no more leaving cheeky notes around for my wife because little miss may pick them up!

I think that cooking a pork roast comes with a few musts and one of those musts is the fact that you MUST have crackling! I remember as a young lad starting out in the kitchen this was something I always failed at.

I could get the internal temp perfect and the meat nice and tender but on the outside, the crackle was non existent more of a flab.

At times I would crank up the heat and then just end up burning the thing and having a really dry cardboard like meat.

That was until I learned the perfect technique that can turn any amatuer into a chef.

All you need to do is take the pork out let it come to room temp, pat dry all the blood and liquid than boil the kettle. Pour the boiling hot water over the skin slowly around 2 liters and you will see the skin start to shrival up.

Pat dry again and coat with lots of salt as the salt will draw out all that moisture. Line with paper towels and let rest either overnight in the fridge or if its cold enough (not summer) on your bench for 3 to 4 hours.

Add oil I use olive oil add more salt, flip add oil and salt and pepper.

I now use an air fryer and crank it up to 200 Degrees Celsius for 45 minutes than reduce heat to 180 Degrees Celsius for 30 mins per kilo of meat.

You'll never go back once you have tried this method!

The burgers are better at home!

Times are getting harder with inflation starting to skyrocket and now there are talks of interest rate hikes over the next few months but where it is hurting the most is the cost of food. I can't beleive the rapid increases in staples it feels like the world was static for many many years where prices didn't change all that much and now boom all of a sudden price surges.

For me personally, I am pretty resourceful in the kitchen and it has probably been over the past few years where my food intake involved single cuts per person such as steak, lamb or chops. I grew up with my Italian grandparents and they were farmers prior to coming to Australia and that ment our backyard was a vegetable mecca and it wasn't uncommon to come home from school with a pet pig, lamb and even a cow once only for a few weeks later it went missing.

Well let's face it, it didn't go missing it ended up in my salami, on my plate and in many other dishes. Although I have carried on many of those cooking traditions there are some things I do not eat. My grandfather would eat the whole animal and nothing was ever wasted. I do think the luxary of our current lives has created a world of waste as we all have designer meals these days. Something that past generations would have only ever dreamed of, imagine that being able to eat a rib eye fillet every night for dinner. But then a Rib eye would not have been popular because it isn't much meat and it's not great value for cost.

A sinlgle Rib Eye fillet cost can feed an entire family and have enough food left over for the next days lunches, which is what I have whipped up for tonights meals. Some great beef patties better than you will ever get at any shop.

The ingredients are pretty simple, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic, wisticher sauce and oregano. Don't be shy when adding them into the meat as the more the marrier! crack your egg in too and mix until everything is well mixed through the meat. Add your bread crumbs and then mix again until all the bread crumbs have dried up all the dampness. How big or thick to make your beef patties?

That's totally upto you and I have my technique in the video. You want to flatten them into thin patties as when they cook they will shrivel up and return to being thick again.

As your cooking flatten them down so they cook evenly and once you flip them place a piece of cheese ontop and cover with the pans lid. This will ensure the cheese melts evenly onto the meat.

I've added bacon and eggs onto my burder but you can add what ever you like no fuss!

I also have an air fryer that I heated up the buns in I think 5 mins was a little too much and maybe 2 - 3 minutes would have been more than enough.

Hope you enjoyed tonights meal and I will see you all again next week!

SKIPPY PLAY2EARN RACING

Good day everyone I trust you are having a wonderful day we're moving a long nicely with the game development and coming up with NFT concept art whilest producing our first trailer.

Keeping in mind that the game will operate using Terrand which is the most advanced random number generator on the market. It was developed by LoTerra and is widely used across the Terra (Luna) Network by a growing number of decentralised apps (dApps).

To make the race more theatrical we will be creating videos to showcase each race with plans to advance into PvP space where you can race against each other for pink slips or tokens increasing the stakes of the game! Players will also be able to upgrade their performance cars by purchasing car parts and boots.

I have also recently reached out to (Astroport)[https://astroport.fi/] to launch Skippy fully and am currently speaking with (Curio)[https://www.curio.art/] for NFT launch as it can be established that upon purchase people receive a random car rather than a selected one adding to the thrill of the game.

We're really excited about this next iteration of Skippy and can't wait!

Those who hold over 1000 Skippy will be airdropped an NFT race car to start entering into the races.

NFT Mainstream Vendor Site

Work is still underway to develop an NFT Multivendor site for mainstream artists and we are working on procuring a number of artists to commence listing their art.

The Skippy legal plan is due for completion this month and once we get that we can start investigating the next iteration.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far!

Skippy is

See you at the finish line!

Simple Pork Fillet Recipe

Good day Foodies I trust you are having a wonderful time and I am back again this week with another favourite dish of mine, Pork Fillets!

These cheap cuts of meat may look like they won't feed many people but they are actually quite the meal makers. For this recipe we go back to our trusty ingredients Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and cumin.

You want to sprinkle the ingredients over the meat and rub it in make sure you're generous and get the whole pork fillet coated.

Fire up a large skillet and once hot enough add around 30g of butter to melt and then add your fillets. You're not looking to cook them hear just brown them all over. While your cooking make sure to turn your ovan on to 200 degree celsius.

Once you have browned the Pork Fillets add some garlic and place the skillet in the ovan, reduce heat to 180 degrees celsius and cook for another 10 minuts be sure not to over cook them.

Unfortunatly I left these ones in for a little too long which wasn't bad for the meat but it burned my garlic so I created some garlic butter sauce to drizzle over. Nothing special just a few grams of butter 2 garlic cloves and stir until the garlic turns golden.

Serve with your favourite sides I just made mash, corn and a garden salad.

Hope you enjoyed tonights meal let me know your thoughts in the comment section below.

Pork Belly Stir Fry

Good day foodies! I hope you're having a wonderful time cooking up a treat we're back again this week with a new recipe. But before I dive into the cooking in this video I want to explain a bit about what I am trying to acheive with these new videos.

If you use Tik Tok, Instagram or even Facebook now you will see these short videos of people cooking meals. It seems to be the new trend on social media these days. They don't include much text and don't go for very long.

So I thought I would tap into this new found viral craze and bring it to 3speak and into Hive Blockchain. Hopefully we can pick up views and encourage more people to join, I mean there is no real point to uploading these to FB or Insta unless you have a business and trying to get people to view your profile and buy from you.

Now onto the nitty gritty!

Have you ever seen those thin pork belly strips and wondered what you could cook with them? we'll you're in for a treat because tonight I will show you the perfect recipe for them! They're pretty good so you will need to fight off sticky fingers in between otherwise you won't have enough to plate up!

Start off by making the sauce and combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, two table spoons soy sauce, to tea spoons fish sauce, two teaspoons oyster sauce, salt, pepper, 2 cloves of garlic and a table spoon of water and mix well.

Now head over to the stove and start frying your pork belly slices and it is important to add them to a cold frypan no oil and let them cook as the pan heats up which will enable a crispy fry. The reason why we use no oil is to maintain full flavour and putting the meat into a cold pan will see the fat start to melt and the meat will cook in it's own fat providing a fuller flavour.

While you're cooking the meat make your favourite kind of rice, I tend to use jasmine rice for this dish as it provides additional flavour.

Once all the meat is finished cooking (you'll) need to do it in batches. drain the fat out if you like you can keep a few table spoons pour in the prepare suace than add the meat back into the pan and simmer on low for 5 minutes stirying enabling the flavour to soak into the meat and thicken.

If you like you can add some spring onions at the end once the dish is cooked and sprinkle with dried shallots (I didn't have any left). If you're also keen you can add fried egg and some vegitables but that is totally upto you and your preference but the dish is quite lovely as a standalone dish.

And enjoy!

A very simple recipe that is full of flavour and the whole family will enjoy.

I hope you liked this weeks recipe and I will see you all again next week!

Chicken Cotolleta

Gooooooooood day Foodies I hope you're having a wonderful week chowing down on some of the most beautfiful recipes I've noticed a few good ones that I have been writing down and want to make at home so keep them coming!

Tonight, we make a family favourite of ours and a meal I loved every time my Nonna made it, her famous Chicken Cotoletta. Now you might be thinking what's the difference between Chicken Cotoletta and a chicken snitzel? We'll there is quite the big difference with Chicken Cotoletta the thinner the better and you mix parsley into the crumbs. I have seen people also add parmesan cheese but that is something I don't do.

For enough to make for 2 adults and 2 kids you want to get yourself two large chicken breasts, these ones were a little smaller than I would have liked but we went with them anyway.

As previously said, the thinner the better slice the chickn from the top of the breast working your way down until you have a heap of thin flat pieces. If there are any holes don't stress too much the egg wash and crumbs will conceal them.

Lightly dust in flour to dry the breast then dip into the egg and then coat in crumbs. Repeat the process until all the chicken is coated. For the crumb mix it is just a basic parsley, salt and pepper mix through until it is all spread evenly around.

For frying I tend to use canola oil because olive oil smokes at a lower temperature and can burn the bread crumbs. Canola oil on the other hand can withstand higher temperatures and not burn the breadcrumbs enabling the chicken to cook inside and the crumbs to become a lovely golden brown colour.

How long to cook each side for? I don't really have a set time but as soon as the crumbs turn golden brown the chicken is usually cooked on the inside.

What to eat them with? well you can make your favourite sides but I often serve them with potatoes that I boil and coat in lemon or slight dash of vinigar and sprinkled with oregano and a garden salad.

I even make sandwhiches or burders from them but a lot of the time the kids will just pick them off the plate while I am cooking them and by the time it is dinner time they're full :( Ah well at least they are eating!

I hope you enjoyed todays recipe and I can't wait to share next weeks recipe with you all.

Have a wonderful day and keep on cooking!

The Heart of The Home is in the Kitchen

As we get older sometimes we forget the little things that made our childhoods so magical and great like coming home from school and smelling the evenings meal being prepared. As we walked down the drive way or if you were in my household where I grew up with my Nonni which is Italian for grandparents you knew what was cooking for dinner two blocks away because you could smell it cooking and serenading the streets and such a magical aroma.

It wasn't overpowering or strong but it was a subtle hint of herbs floating along with the breeze but as soon as you smelt it it would lift your spirits. Kind of like walking past a bakery in the early morning and having the smell of fresh bread hit you in the face and transporting you to another world.

When I was young my friends would tease me about it but I know deep down they wished it was them and I know, because as we grew older they would never miss an invite over for dinner and would constantly ask. Many of my childhood friends that I am still close with will till this day come over for dinner and make special requests as I was fortunate enough to learn how to cook from my nonna. I pride myself on my cooking although it can be a bit of a curse at times because sometimes I can't be bothered cooking.

But now, fastforward to my adult life and my neighbours are the ones that often say "geee, that smells lovely, whats for dinner tonight?" Few of my neighbours can guess what I am cooking purely by the smell oh and you know my BBQs I often share. Well they tend to get a few noses up and people wanting to come past for a beer or two. There is one other family close by who also cooks lovely BBQ's. They're middle eastern and cook a lovely rotisserie with a few different marinated meats. If you're wondering, yes I have popped passed a few times and grabbed a snack.

This all came to mind today, the memories of growing up and the walk home from school and the aroma as I came close because little miss said something to me tonight that made me smile and remind me of the past. I know that her favourtie meal is my special herb and crummbed chicken wings which I make from scratch. Sometimes when she is feeling down I like to suprise her with them and it's one of the only meals I can get her to gobble up and not have to fight her to eat.

She was at her Nan's house today and as she entered the home I heard her saying at the front door "quick nan! quick!" She came running down the hall way straight into the kitched and exclaimed "I Knew It!". I turned and smiled at her and asked "You knew what?" Little miss just smiled at me.

Throughout my whole life I think the kitchen has made some of my best memories as it is what brings us all together as a family at the end of each day. The time we talk, share stories of the day and laugh about all the silly things and hear all the latest gossip.

The kitchen is the heart of the house.

Goooooood day Foodies! I hope you're having a wonderful week and cooking up a treat! Today in Dad's kitchen we're cooking up the perfect roast chicken infused with Garlic, butter and Lemon!

There are a lot of ways to roast a chicken and I think nothing really beats a rotisserie because it gives you a lovely even cook. You can get one of those chicken stands which also works really well. But I have recently purchased myself an Air fryer!

I bought myself a Kogan 8.2L Air Fryer

Now I am not to sure why they call it an Air Fryer because it is pretty much a mini electric oven that works a treat! But I guess Air Fryer was easier to take to market. Where I don't think it cooks chips and all your fried foods all that good (still better deep fried) It does however, cook some of the best roasts I have ever had!.

I have done a bit more of a tutorial video with this one because I felt it was a lot larger and needed more to it to ensure you got it right and could follow along at home. I'd also like to note you probably dont need to put butter in the thighs as that may have been a little overkill but it is still nice for flavour.

So first of all you want to get yourself a lemon and two garlic cloves and slice the lemon into pieces and the garlic up into halves. The place it all inside the chook with a small amount of butter.

Make small cuts into the chicken skin so you can get between the skin and the tissue. Slide the butter in this will ensure you have a lovely full flavoured and juicy chicken breast.

Cook facedown for 60 minutes at 180 degrees celsius then flip the chicken over and cook for another 20 minutes for 180 degrees celsius. Due to all the fat dripping to the bottom of the container this gives off a lovely crispy skinned rotisserie style chicken. I also added salt, pepper and olive oil all around the chicken and rubbed it in.

For sides I made some roast potatoes and pumpkin with a fresh garden salad.

This is one of my new favourite ways to cook roast chicken ever since getting the Air Fryer and it is great for a quick and easy way to cook. A wonderful investment and makes cleaning up a dream with no hard oven to scrub!

Let me know what you think in the comments section below.

All righty ladies and gents strap yourselves in because it's BBQ weather and tonight we're going to run down how to make the BEST BBQ Pork Ribs Ever!

For this I ducked down to my local butcher and grabbed two racks of pork ribs I think they are around $15 each now. I remember not too long ago these bad boys were only $2.5 I lived off pork ribs for a while as they are great in pasta sauce and a whole range of different recipes.

For the recipe you're going to need salt, pepper, olive oil, paprika, garlic poweder, onion powder, ground cummin seeds and ground coriander seeds. Sprinkle the pork ribs in the ingredients be generous than coat in olive oil and mix to coat. Flip the ribs and do it all again on the otherside, cover with a tea towel and place in the fridge overnight.

The next day remove them from the fridge about 30 to 45 minutes before cooking this enables the meat to come to room temperature and allows an even cooking throughout. Fire up your coals and if you're like me should only take a moment! :)

Now I know some people clean their BBQs and I can not expresssss Don't! never clean always disinfect with a lemon or vinigar scrape away any bits but this bad boy is hitting 400 degrees celcius nothing is surving! plus soap sticks to the grills and can come across into your meat and give an additional soapy taste :(

Only put your coals to one side you can put a few on the other side if like me you're cooking high away from the coals and not too close. You want to sear your meat for a minute each side over direct heat (once the grills have heated up). Than remove from the direct heat and place over non direct heat.

While you're waiting why not throw some potatoes on some alfoil close the lid and let the meat cook. You will need to open it from time to time to flip your potatoes and put new ones on. No one wants to burn their potatoes. Or you could just wrap spuds in foil and put them in the coals. Why not also include some beef and pork sausages as well and once the potatoes are finished cooking you can even cook some onions.

The ribs should be done in about 35 - 45 minutes make sure not to over cook as they will go dry.

Enjoy!

Gooooooood day Foodies I hope you have been safe and well and cooking up a storm in the kitchen for me it is summer so it is all about light meals and fast because who wants to waste time cooking in hot weather when you can be outdoors?

Something I am quite often asked about in my personal life is what is the key to a successful long term relationship and I have to admit I have no idea. However, I do know that cooking for the wife is one of the ways we can impress and as we all know the kitchen is the heart of a home which means that's where love is made!

So today I am sharing with you a wonderful recipe for a family favourite in summer which is also quick, easy and healthy! who doesn't like a quicky?

I am also trying a new method of sharing my recipe by creating a video it is my first attempt and I wanted to see how it went before purchasing proper equipment to film. Let me know your thoughts on it but lets walk through the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • Baby Corn
  • 1 Red Capsicum
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Brown Onion
  • a small bunch of spring onions
  • Salt, Pepper, Olive Oil and Table spoon of Flour
  • Seasame Seeds

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Honey
  • 2 Table spoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Table Spoon Oyster Sauce or Hosin Sauce
  • 2 Gloves Garlic Crushed

Method

Slice Chicken into small cubes place into a silver bowl add salt, pepper and 1 table spoon flour and mix to coat. The flour will soak up the liquid that comes off the chicken and prevent it from stewing.

While the Chicken is cooking combine sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix together

Once Chicken is browned remove from fry pan and add onions. Once Onions become transulcent add the rest of the vegetables excpe the green onion and stir through until softened.

While the veggies are cooking use your preferred noodles and follow packet instructions to cook.

Once the veggies are ready reduce heat and add the chicken back into the pan and mix through. Pour in your sauce and mix to combine allowing to simmer for a bit so the sauce reduces.

Then add your noodles and mix everything through I find that a folding motion works well to coat all the ingredients and to mix the noodles through the chicken and the veggies.

Once the sauce has thickened up and you have coated everything sprinkle your spring onions over the top and give them a quick mix through being sure not to provide too much heat to them or they will welt and you want them slightly heated through.

Serve up on a plate, sprinkly a few sesame seeds over the top and boom! you're ready for a quick and easy dinner that is healthy and smart!

Let me know what you think about the recipe and the short video I have made if you like it I will make a few more.

Tutorial on How to Change a Holden VE Wagon indicator and rear break light

I nearly had my car written off today as I was turning right on 3 occasions until I realised that my indicator signals weren't working. As I inspected my vehicle I also found out that my rear left break light wasn't working either.

both these issues require urgent repair as can lead to a significant accident if other drivers don't realise I'm breaking or turning.

I called up a few mechanics and received a number of quotes ranging from $450 to $600 dollars for a repair or replacement part. There was also going to be a few days delay which I couldn't wait for as I tend to be on the road with my beast with my kids so it was time to fix it myself and for a whole lot cheaper.

instead of costing me $450 - $600 I was able to do the whole job in under 10 minutes for around $17 and with one hand as seen in the video.

A key point when changing the rear break light be cautious of the battery as you don't want to come into contact with it or your tools as it may spark and short circuit your car.

I hope you enjoy this tutorial and if you could please help me maximise my @3speak upvotes by watching the 3 min video and leaving a comment.

if you want to know why I'll pop together a Leo Finance post on how to maximise your 3speak upvote rewards in a few days time.

fanstastic work everyone we've now got the actual meme Skippy live and operational which is a wonderful moment.

as a project manager there is no greater feeling then when you manage to move an idea from concept to functionality and meet the milestones set out.

we've still got a lot of work to do to market the token and lift sales so we can move onto the next part of the project but given that we've been successful in each stage I think we're going to be ok.

here's to the next new exciting meme token to grace the block chain.

hop on board because we're bouncing all over the world!

I'm today's episode we talk about the importance of online safety and the various ways that scammers pray on unsuspecting people. Many of which are new to the sector and wanting to do well are roped into "Crypto Classes" that offer 100% success rates on the "Next" Coin or what is referred to as Pump Signals.

these so called "Educators" spend months grooming new users building up a following and a new group of people to scam. while they're giving you "Free" classes they're buttering you up to rob the group. for months they've been purchasing a low cap token and then once they have enough people they release the details and tell everyone to buy it as it's going to Pump.

As you're buying in, they're selling and taking your money setting of a snow ball effect on the market.

The other scams are people churning out new tokens based on recent mainstream media news such as Facebooks name change Meta.

they work in syndicates or have multiple accounts to give the impression that their operation is legitimate when it's sole focus is grooming you and taking your money.

what started off as a bit of fun has turned into the possibility to do more and develop a social movement that benefits everyone and gives back.

The video is a brief overview as I don't want to give too much away at this stage as I don't want a competitor taking our idea. However, I think I can come up with a model that will establish a world first.

Coinspot recently announced that they have reached two million unique accounts on their platform and with a number of Australian exchanges operating the number of Australians now investing in Cryptocurrency and digital assets is climbing.

this also poses significant risk as a number of new users won't be aware of the kinds of scams that are out there. in this episode I run through three of the main scams that catch people unaware: Pump and Dumps, Honey Pot Scams and Exit/Rugpulls.

stay tuned as we follow up in future episodes on other hype focused and targeted scams.

Access to play equipment is vital to children's development and supports muscle development, cognitive function and a range of other benefits including social and emotional wellbeing and not to mention a parents own mental health. Throughout this lockdown I have been extremely fearful that my children were missing out on vital developmental milestones, for little miss we used soccer as a means to engage and build social skills. But it wasn't too long after starting that community sports were shut down due to the outbreak.

Then as things got really challenging for a few months we were not allowed outside for more than an hour or for four main reasons which included seeking help, getting medical attention, authorised work and getting supplies. Playgrounds were shut and things went south real fast for the kids.

Eventually play equipment reopened and we were only allowed to travel within a 5km bubble which didn't leave much room to go anywhere but we tried. Once things opened a bit more and we were allowed to travel 10kms we were able to visit a national park which was in reach and go exploring which little miss really enjoyed.

After that outing little bloke has become alot more active and has started standing, although he is still bum shuffling but he is alot more excited and keen on exploring the world around him.

Now things are open to a 15km bubble and we're able to expand our journies alot more like visiting newer, more modern play grounds and there are alot more people out and about so little miss is able to reengage and develop her social skills more. As for little bloke he is coming out of his shell and had an absolute ball of a time at the local park on the weekend.

So sit back and enjoy this mash up of lil miss, lil bloke and mumma as we run around the park having fun! finally!

we've almost been in lockdown for two years in Melbourne don't get me wrong there has been opens and shuts but through the most part gyms have been closed so it's been hard to keep those extra kilos off and remain motivated.

we're only allowed out for two hours hours day to undertake physical exercise which during the week I don't really get any time to leave the house, but come the weekend it's time to head out and lose some weight!

I do have a home gym set up and have been training but sometimes it's great to visit a part for some body weight resistance training. even if you lift alot using gravity and your own body will result in some soreness the next day. it's also good to mix up workouts from time time to make it less of a routine and more of a fun thing to do.

in this video I run through a few different types of exercises that cover most body groups from chest to legs. you might be thinking but what about biceps? they get a good workout through all the exercises and legs might appear challenging to do but if you watch to the end you'll see little miss has a laugh while she helps me with some resistance lunges.

why not put a few friends together and give it a try, you'll have a lot of fun doing so!

happy viewing.

A wonderfully historic moment was made right now as Jeff Bezos made his first space flight on the Blue Origin. Coming in at second place to Sir Richard Branson, from Virgin Galactic the billionaire space race took a whole new look on aviation.

Much like the former United States and Soviet space race which saw Soviet cosmonaut Yuri A orbit the Earth on 12 April 1961 followed by the United States Alan Shepard who piloted the Mercury Freedom 7 spacecraft on 5 May 1961.

Today's space race is a little different as the Billionaires race to create a commercial business taking every day people to the edges of the planet and experiencing space for themselves. It is amazing how fast humans can reach the perimetter of our planet but at the speeds these rockets are racing it would make the world fastest fighter jet look sheepish.

Commercial airliners are currently undergoing significant change to become electric and where the thought could be placed on becoming carbon neutral commercial aeroplanes have some serious competition on the horizon. The fastest way to get from one side of the planet to the other is up. Soon, no longer will humans have to endure long hual flights we will use rockets to be in places in a matter of mintues.

As aeroplanes were to steam boats so too are space craft to aeroplanes.

I'm excited!

Planning and Development were significantly impacted by the pandemic which put the mahority of projects and community planning behind schedule with some projects collapsing.

A year on and the construction boom has started to mitigate COVID19 and operate at a reduced capacity, fortunately we know now that COVID19 does not spread as easily out doors or in summer periods which has provided the construction industry the much needed boost to get projects moving.

Prior to the pandemic this growth corridor which is infill land between Melbourne's Western Suburbs and Melton which was once a shire but changes expanded Melbourne's boundaries to include Melton, was to see 1 million plus people move into it by 2030. Extensive town planning and investment backed by both Private and Government sectors set away to build 20 minute communities.

The 20 minute community is a plan set out by the State Government of Victoria that will enable people to have access to everything they need within 20 minutes of their home. Barriers still exist in regards to employment hubs as the brunt of high wage roles still remain in the Melbourne CBD area. COVID may have altered ways that work maybe in the future but at current employment opportunities in these areas remain within Construction, Trades and Services, retail and health care.

This pocket is still a low socio-economic area with houshold incomes below $1000 per month but with the construction boom and housing developments the demographics will be changing dramatically. Land in this pocket is not cheap commencing at $350 - $450k for 400+ square meters it is a tale of the ever growing costs of housing within Australia.

However, where land costs may seem expensive the finance does not simply go to government or private investors as town planning is done differently compared to previous generations where they would just build a road and release a number of blocks and away people went. Today a number of requirements are included in new age developments which bridge technology, nature, infrastructure, education, leisure and a primary focus of enjoyment.

Paths, wetlands, activity centres, education and health precincts are also planned into developments. residents who move to these new developments should, in theory be able to be within walking distence of schools, shops, health services and leisure activities. Public transport hubs also within walking distance enable residents ease of access to trains that will get you into the city within 35 - 45minutes. Express services are planned for operation in years to come including an outter ring road to enable vehicle access and avoid congestion, though due to low population the outter ring road isn't planned to commence for another decade.

The area also is strategically positioned to be a great launch pad to outter regional areas and within driving distance are the old gold mining towns of Ballarat and Bendigo to the North West and coast country town Geelong in the South West. Having quick access to these ares also increases employment opportunities without focusing on the CBD

The Wet Lands and lake featured in the area is more than just a water feature it is environmentally designed to capture water run off and through natural processes collect and clean the water prior to it being released into the water streams ensuring clean, safe water for the native plants and animals. A series of deep pools collect finer fragments and in time will be dredged and as the water moves from each pond to the next more of the dust particles are captured. Fish will also be stocked to enable recreational fishing and I am hearing Red Fin and Rainbow Trout will be the preferred fish for this pond. I am not sure how safe they will be to eat but it will be fun heading out with the kids to try our hand at game fishing.

Each house in the area also is required to meet 6 star energy and efficency standards which include solar power, water collection and energy saving measures such as double glazed and increase insulation to ensure heat and cooling doesn't escape the home requiring the use of less coal powered electricity. All houses now built in Melbourne pretty much come stock standard with solar hot water systems with a gas or electricity back up.

I'll continue to map the growth of this area and as more suburbs prop up I will head across and film their developments.

What are your thoughts of this new style of development and community designs? What would you do differently and what do you think works well? .

Good day @threespeak I hope you're all having a wonderful day/night where ever you are. I am really enjoying the development and super excited about the fact Hive has it's own media outlet. I have even been planning on creating another account for political videos and advocacy that I do/did. I've put it on that back foot for the mean time but I was getting good local views online.

However, for this week I am back to provide more drone footage and I'll be heading out to do a few more local areas, I was also thinking about filming the growth corridor of the west as I took some footage a few years back and have been meaning to track its growth as more and more houses are added to the area. I was creating a visual aerial diary of population growth. Not much happens in a year but there is some great movement happening now.

But for tonights video we revisit the beautiful Altona beach in Melbourne's West, as a country gert by sea pretty much every city has an ocean view and you're always within driving distance of a beach. Except if you live in a regional town then it is a river. Not many places in Australia are remote and without water.

I've slowed the speed of the camera in the last slide so you can get a nice 360 degree view and a nice view of Melbourne in the back ground. Please go easy on me as this day was quite windy and it was blowing the drone all over the place. I've given it a quick edit and I hope it is sufficient.

Hope you enjoy this weeks video and I will see you all next week!

Good morning America and western side of the globe peeps I hope you're all having a wonderful day. As I head off to bed I have popped together another weekly highlight reel of one of my favorite places to visit and now with restrictions lifted I will be heading of again soon.

located in the New South Wales Just over the Victorian boarder is a lovely Lake that when full covers 750 hectares of land and with no water outlet the lake only drains through evaporation. The tiny towns of Euston and Robinvale are located close by about 13 kms distance. The lake is a popular fishing and camping location amongst locals and tourists alike.

Lake Benanee itself is over 40,000 years old with significant Aboriginal history and heritage. The area is home to a burial site so campers must be careful when camping not to exhume bodies as the burials are not that far below the earths surface.

Furthermore, the site is enriched with Aboriginal artifacts, camping grounds former huts and stone rings. Trees have boundary markings and root cuttings can be seen which indicates the carving of boomerangs. Being the only large body of water for miles this would have been a fantastic location to hunt animals and set up a life.

A naturally occurring phenomenon with Eucalyptus trees can be seen on site with with many having a strong flourishing core but dead limbs so one must be careful not to have a large branch fall on you as it is dangerous. The trees do this in times of drought to ensure they have enough water to survive they will stop sap flowing to other areas of their mass and keep their centre alive.

Absolutely amazing!

Well I wont bore you too much more with my story, sit back and enjoy the aerial visual flight around Lake Benanee

Bucking the trend in @threespeak uploads focusing on cryptocurrancy I wanted to bring you along on one of my magical journeys across the west. I have created a brand new edit with music and special effects.

Australia has had a large cultural influence from China since the gold rush era, many remained in Australia to raise families and in search of a better life. Along the banks of the Maribyrnong River is the Heavenly Queen temple which is home to a 50 foot statue of the Chinese goddess of the sea Mazu.

The Heavenly Queen temple is the largest Taoist temple in Australia.

We explore further down the bank of the Maribyrnong River where we get a wonderful panoramic view of the actual city shooting across the docks.

I hope you enjoyed my new edited video along with some snazzy music FYI Cannon in D was created long before copyright existed in the current form and this song is in the public domain since the 1700s. Also this is a brand new edit.
