Great news, Brazos Valley! We are excited to share that the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum will be reopening Thursday, July 1. Learn more in this interview with our Executive Director, Sheree Boegner, and Director of the George H. W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, Warren Finch. Timed tickets can be purchased online at bush41.org. Occupancy is limited, so be sure to get your tickets early to see two new exhibits, "Oceans of Plastic" and "Texas Sea Grant: 50 Years of Science and Stewardship". Museum Hours: Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00am - 3:00pm

In this class students will get to design their own covers then learn two basic bookbinding techniques - Japanese Stab binding and Coptic binding. The class will be Saturday, August 7th, 2021, from 1 - 4pm.

Natural science illustration combines the beauty of nature with the precision of scientific observation. Working in a traditional format, the class will create a poster from their study of unique natural objects through observation. This class will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 1:30pm-3:30pm.
Check out this interview with ACBV Director Sheree Boegner and Jami Bevans as Jami discusses her Saturday Adult Art Class: Color Me a Rainbow. Jami Bevans will show you how to use all the colors in the rainbow as an underpainting of pastels to create more realistic skin tones. Practice first on gray bogus paper to get the idea, then transfer knowledge to creating your own portrait. You are encouraged to bring a printed photo of yourself, friend or family member. This class will be Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 1:00pm-4:00pm
