Many of your City of Yuma Wellness Ambassadors along with Crane Cares Wellness, Arizona Western College Wellness@Work Committee, and Yuma County Employees focused a portion of their Tuesday to help create and guide a better onsite wellness program through the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program 101 Training provided by Trainer Dianna Scaccia.

Afterwards we took the time to review some Program Best Practices as well as what we are looking forward to implementing in the upcoming year in a round table discussion to support YOU!

The Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) is a statewide public  health initiative developed through a partnership between the Arizona  Department of Health Services and the Maricopa County Department of  Public Health.

Today the teams that fall under the umbrella of the Yuma Area Benefits Consortium met for their 1st Annual Wellness Retreat to build upon how to provide the best possible product to employees located at the City of Yuma, Crane School District, and Arizona Western College.
