A Little Perspective: Recent Episodes

Will Sigmon

Hello and welcome to A Little Perspective, hosted by me, Will Sigmon, and my good buddy Braham Shank!

At just 4 feet tall, I’ve always had a little bit of a different perspective of the world than the average person.

You see, I am what is commonly referred to as a dwarf, or little person. Specifically, my form of dwarfism is called Kniest Dysplasia, which actually only affects 1 in a million people worldwide!

Given my short stature, as well as a few other diagnosed conditions, I frequently find the need to adapt to situations in order to maintain my independence.

I might do this with physical objects, tools, or by way of technology.

Sometimes, though, I do need help (I mean, everyone does, right?). I gave up my pride a long time ago when it comes to asking for it.

Despite sometimes-challenging moments, I have always believed in the good in people, and choose to see the world by assuming peoples’ best intent, rather than their worst.

It is with this perspective that I find myself at this point in my life with so many fascinating and interesting people drawn to me, and me to them.

I know that these people all have their own stories, opinions, challenges, and triumphs.

So, I decided to create this show as a platform to share these inspirational relationships. Each episode, I will be joined by friends, family, colleagues, and beyond, chosen to discuss a topic of their interest and experience with me. Hopefully, someone out there will be able to relate to each conversation had and walk away with… a little more perspective than you had before.
