A short video of one part of Ramayana dance from Bali - Thida Devi captured by the Orgre (Ravana of Lanka) met the Hanuman Monkey and gave him her hair pin so as to inform her husband Rama that she was alive.
It was a beautiful performance dance from near Uluwatu temple, Bali, Indonesia. And I was able to capture some. The dance is know as Kecak Uluwatu Dance. And I found that they used no musical instrument but the cha cha cha sound shouted by the men.
The veiw of the sea from the Uluwatu temple view point is also beautiful. It is one of the recommended tourist place.
Below are some of the photos of the dance taken by me.

Dear friends,

This year, our Shan New Year Celebration was held at Loi Lon (Pyin Nyar Bawdi) Social Welfare Center near my town, Taunggyi, Myanmar. At the center, there are about five hundred students, who came from towns and villages all over Shan State to stay and study there at the center. The number could increase due to the current clashes between the military and the Northern alliances in Northern Shan state.

Shan New Year is one of the most important festivals for the Shan people, who are the dominant ethnic group in eastern Myanmar. Normally, Shan New Year Celebration is full of fun and entertainment and normally held as a festival at Shan Literature and Culture Association's compound. However, there have been tragic incidents caused by the wars in Northern Shan state and so this year, we don't celebrate like before. As part of the ceremony, they offered lunch to the Buddhist monks then there was a reward-giving ceremony for those who had just passed matriculation this year. Then, the visitors were treated with lunch and there were Kinnara and Kinnari and Toenayar dances for the completion of the ceremony. Kinnara and Kinnari and Toenayar are mythical creatures and both dances are regarded to bring auspiciousness to all. Below are some of the photos taken there. Thank you.

(Above photos) The ceremony was held in the main hall.

Dear friends,

Haipa waterfall is located at about 15 miles from Mong Hsu, Shan State, Myanmar. It is composed of levels of waterfalls and is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Myanmar. It is on the Pang River and there are many other waterfalls beside the big one. The water was a little muddy because I visited there last month during the raining season. It is more beautiful in winter and summer time.

Dear Friends,
The ruby mine was located in Shan State Myanmar. It was on the mountain near Mong Hsu - it is about 15 km from Mong Hsu. The Ruby mine is 700 ft from the ground and had to enter with the elevator. Once we landed underneath, I had to walk a little to get to the work place where rubies were being searched. There were tunnels underneath; some were huge. The video was recorded by me Thank you.

Dear friends,

The day before yesterday, our group went to a village which was about 6.5 miles distance from Kunhing. We went there for practical work for the need assessment of the village.

First, we went to the monastery in the village. I found villagers were gathering for community work - there was some knowledge sharing session and I realized that the monastery was like a community centre for the villagers. We separated our group into smaller teams of three people and went to the village households for collecting data.
We found that the village has about ninety households and their livings depends on growing paddy and crops - mostly maze and raising pigs, chicken, cows and buffalos.
For electricity, the village is still off-grid but many households have electric turbines installed at the stream flowing near the village. When the water flow is not good enough in summer time to produce electricity, they use solar power instead.
There are beautiful paddy and corn fields around the village and below are some of the photos taken while we were visiting the village. We found that most of the houses in village were built with bricks and some are beautifully painted. And I inserted a video clip of a beautiful green paddy field near the village at the end. It was a fun and rewarding trip for me because I have not visited a Shan village in this region before.

Dear Feathered Friends Lovers,

There is one cherry tree in front of my house and I noticed in this morning that one Red-whiskered Bulbul came to eat the leaves of the tree. First, I thought it came to eat the fruits but in the video, I saw it was eating the leaves.I was able to video-record it and take a few shots. Red-whiskered Bulbuls sing sweet song but in the video I was not able to record its sound because it was eating :). You will hear the sound of other birds and a street peddler in the video. And you can notice some small fruits on the tree I think; those fruits are the indication that cherry trees are going to give beautiful full blossom very soon.

Thank you for viewing.

Dear feathered-friends lovers,

This morning I found a bird perching on a tree in front of my house and I was able to take a short video and a few photos before it flew away. When I searched for the bird in the Google Len, it gave a match to Oriental magpie-robin. And the following are the photos that I took.

And below is the link to its wikipedia page.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oriental_magpie-robin

In wikipedia, it is saidOriental magpie-robins are particularly well known for their songs and were once popular as cagebirds.

Here, although many birds visited my home compound every morning, I can get a closer look at them only in photographs. Thank you for viewing.

Shwe Myintzu Pagoda, located on a small island about 1,500 feet away from the west bank of Indawgyi natural lake, was constructed in 1869 to enshrine Buddha relics transported from Yangon. Shwe Myintzu Pagoda is the largest tourist site in that Indawgyi area. Indawgyi lake is the largest natural lake in Myanmar. Below are some of the photos I took when I visited the pagoda in 2019.

This photo was taken from the west bank of Indawgyi lake

There were many seagulls there. You can see them in the video also.
