A very Short video on our walk down to the Rideau River this morning. For some reason Lola wanted to play on the gravel trail.
Lots of canoes and kayaks out on the water so I’ll had back this afternoon for a little paddle.

I have an idea for a 3Speak Shorts Viral Video Contest.
Last summer I was making some movies from the kayak with my iPhone… I had the idea to add some Jaws theme music and post to YouTube Shorts. I added a few seconds of B-roll Shark footage for fun.
This little one minute video has over 233,000 Views on YouTube.
The idea for a Summer 3Speak Shorts Contest is to create a 1 Minute movie on the water, Add some suspenseful music from YouTube Shorts Copyright Free Music Library, take a screenshot of the movie and upload to 3 Speak.

I couldn’t get my iPhone out quick enough to film this plane landing and we were also paddling to get out of the way.
I have no idea how these planes can land in this little channel in Killarney Ontario when the water is jam packed with kayaks, canoes, Vintage Chris Craft motor boats, Jet skies and people swimming.
There is no warning other than the sound of the plane over the Island. Then it’s like everyone paddle and swim like crazy to get out of the way …
I am told that these are mostly American Charter flights of movie stars and CEOs coming up to rough it in the Canadian Wilderness. It’s about $100 for fries and a beer at the Lodge these days … so we stop at the Fish and Chip wagon down the street for Fresh White Fish, Fries and a pop for $6 …

This is a very short little video from our trip down to Ithica New York.
We hiked around many of the beautiful Gorges and trails in around Ithica and Cornell University. I had no idea how beautiful this place was... I'm thinkng I should have gone to school at Cornell.
The entire area around the Finger Lakes in Upstate New York is very beautiful. Many Wineries and stunning landscapes.
Would love to live here one day. Some day.
