The pair discuss how the ultimate solution to these problems is not simply the defeat of Hamas but of creating a world that follows the Ten Commandments.
Ultimately the Israel-Palestine question comes down to who has the right to the land. The Jewish people have given many compelling answers, but it seems that many in the world aren't interested. Perhaps a new approach is necessary - which also happens to be the most ancient approach. Join us for a new series on J-TV called "Torah Morality for the World"!
The Jewish people are the world's moral educators, and the world is in a lot of trouble, not us. We grieve but we hold our heads high, it is the world that should feel ashamed. A message to the Jewish people and the world from Ollie.

Ollie and Sam discuss the idea of whether the current exploitation of nostalgia in the world of entertainment (eg. yet another Star Wars/Spider-Man/Matrix/Harry Potter movie etc) actually is rooted in a deeper human desire to revisit old, cheerful memories of youth and wonder, to escape the harsher reality of one's current challenges.
Do we allow reminiscing about the past to stop us living in the moment and seeing our struggles as necessary opportunities for growth? How does that affect our Jewish practice and faith? Are we a religion who seeks out reliving our "golden years" or do we truly understand our best years are ahead of us?

Ollie has a follow up chat with Rabbi Manis Friedman about his ground breaking interview with him a few weeks prior - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQlfH43G1mg
Rabbi Manis Friedman is a world-renowned author, counselor, lecturer and philosopher who uses ancient wisdom and modern wit to captivate audiences around the world.
In this interview with Ollie, Rabbi Friedman discusses how we can make sense of the story of Noah's flood and the sin of the spies, as well as speaking about whether we can really say God "needs" us, or are all descriptions of God just inaccurate.

Hello, and welcome back to J-TV Podcasts!
My name is Sam Kaufman, again joining Ollie Anisfeld to discuss whether Judaism and general Jewish observance in 2021 is too hard to keep - and why that is.
Weâre going to speak about the role of emphasis in Jewish thought â how different sects with Judaism will agree upon the fundamentals 100%, but itâs the way they prioritise the different aspects â thatâs what distinguishes them from one another.
Ollie speaks about âPachadâ = fear, and how he believes it is the source for unhealthy stringencies that lack deeper meaning and can potentially cause misery
The alternative, however, is to build up oneâs relationship Judaism, and their Jewish observance, with genuine, meaningful actions that only serve to strengthen our relationship with our creator.

Hello, and welcome to J-TV Podcasts!
My name is Sam Kaufman, and in todayâs inaugural episode, J-TV Founder Ollie Anisfeld and myself discuss the challenges of Jewish Education in the Age of Diminishing Attention Spans
We speak about the long-term effects of this surface-level education, the rising impact of a culture based around the consumption of content, and the potential harms this could all lead to.
I ask Ollie on how this all affects the creation of J-TV videos, whilst he challenges me of the very notion that that people really have such short attention spans to begin with. The necessity of why God has created such a egotistical, needy generation like todays, and in the process he shatters my world view about Spider-Man

A remarkable, paradigm-shifting interview, with Rabbi Manis Friedman. A comment from Ollie: "There have only been one or two moments in my life where I have discovered some information or an idea that is so groundbreaking to me that it has changed my entire understanding of reality, and with it my life. The last time that happened I was 17 years old. But it happened again earlier this week when I interviewed Rabbi Manis Friedman. This discussion has led to a major, life-altering paradigm shift for me. I am still processing what he said. Iâve been thinking a lot about it, questioning it, challenging it - with my Rabbis, friends and family. The content is totally transformative. It has torn down a lot of notions I had about God, reward and punishment, heaven and mitzvot. A part of me continues to challenge what he said, but a deeper part of me recognises that his words are completely intuitive. But Iâm still processing it all. J-TV interviews are always a pleasure but rarely have they brought me to tears. This one did. I encourage you to take the time to watch it. Itâs not short, but I think youâll find it easy to keep watching from beginning to end. I think you will find it shocking (in a good way) and life changing if you take his words seriously."
