Body image has been a topic that Haley & Bailey have been talking a lot about recently and they wanted to sit down and really dive into this topic with you. They discuss how friends, family, and societal influences can shape our body image, both positively and negatively. It’s important to choose friends who uplift and support us. So many people become so focused on the weight on the scale and watching what they eat but the hosts discuss how they found a healthy balance in life and to not let body image stop them from living their life.
Taking the time to get to know yourself is so important. Haley and Bailey discuss the importance of figuring out who you are. During this podcast they ask each other questions to get to know themselves more. It’s easy to get caught up in what other people want for you but if you never take the time to get to know yourself you may find yourself living for other people vs yourself. A lot of people want you to live a “normal” life but who is determining what “normal” is. Take the time to see what you really love in life and who you really are.

Take the time this summer to slow down and do the hobbies you love. If it’s reading a book, decorating your house, tanning, journaling etc. take time for yourself. Our phones are such a default that a lot of us find ourselves filling our free time aimlessly scrolling, texting, or doing something on our phones challenge yourself this summer to find a new hobby and be more intentional with your time!
