Having spent my entire teen years in care, and having over 20 foster children, 4 adoptions, including 2 with special needs, I understand "the system" just a bit more than most. Allison Ezelle of Dwell Sleep Pediatrics is a certified sleep specialist. She is a biological, foster and adoptive mother who humbly admits that the reason that she started this journey was because she recognized an issue with her child's sleep and couldn't find the answers within her medical community. She was first introduced to foster care as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) and family nurse practitioner before becoming a foster parent with her husband, Brooks. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Tara has many years of experience working with mothers and collaborating
with community partners to improve neonatal outcomes and provide better support for mothers in recovery
from opioid use disorders. As a nurse of over 27 years, she has cared for many babies with Neonatal
Abstinence Syndrome and has become an expert in treating them and their families. She has also been able
to be a preceptor to staff and students over the years and has been a source of education for many
individuals in communities.

Jessi graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Child Development & Pre-Health with Minors in Psychology and Religious Studies. Jessi has formerly worked for Ventura County CFS and for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Jessi was also the first Resident Director, or host parent, in the James Storehouse Transitional Home to four teen girls aging out of foster care (ages 18-22), mentoring and assisting them as they transition into independent adulthood.
As Associate Director, Jessi provides foresight and leadership for the organization's continued growth to best meet the growing needs in serving the community in new, creative ways. Jessi’s work includes planning and executing large events, public speaking, communication with donors and volunteers, website and social media management, integration of a trauma-informed approach, and daily interface with clients.
Jessi’s life passion is for foster care, specifically with advocacy at the policy level to help end the multi-generational cycle of foster care.

Adoption, foster care, and advocacy were not part of Jami's dreams for her life, but God changed her heart when He made her aware and she is passionate about helping others become aware too! She, and her husband Clint, are parents to their seven children (five through adoption).
