There's no guest today. No teaching, really. Just questions, the kind that don't want a quick answer, they want you to sit with them. I read Stephen Cope's book, The Great Work of Your Life, on a recent road trip, and it cracked something open in me.
So, I built this episode as a guided reflection, walking through that same territory using the six BRIDGEs pillars I use in my own work, because our purpose doesn't show up in the abstract.

Frank was born and raised on the border of Paraguay and Brazil, grew up volunteering in his family’s environmental NGO. This early experience fostered a deep connection with the Pai Tavytera community, where he was initiated through the Kunumi Pepy ceremony and is now officially enrolled in the Panambi’y tribe.
For more than 15 years in Central Florida, Frank has built youth-led environmental programs that earned a National Geographic Planet Inspired award and helped influence local policy. During his time at Apple, he launched volunteer efforts and served as the lead guide for the state of Florida. Frank also founded Indigenous Earth, a cultural preservation initiative that connects teens with traditional ecological knowledge through hands-on workshops and a globally reaching podcast.
Through his work with local nonprofits, Frank has secured grants for environmental programs that support Hispanic communities, including the bilingual Wetlands Ambassador Program, recognized by Orange County Public Schools as a Partner of the Year initiative. He is proud to be able to mentors United Tribal Youth’s Earth Ambassadors to better become community leaders.
Frank now looks forward to deepening his servant leadership by supporting youth clubs across Latin America—helping them cultivate purpose, amplify their impact, and grow into powerful agents of change for their communities.

Empowerment Is An INSIDE Job.
Someone may offer you an empowering solution.
But if you don't take it- you won't feel empowered.
We should feel good about the way that we live our lives and about who we are.
No one benefits from you being a martyr (including your children).
Not that it’s always easy. There are definitely hard times in parenting. But overall, you should not parent in a way that feels like constant suffering & misery.
Design a life that you love.
You could go through your entire life…many people have and are currently doing so…not enjoying life.
Keep your cup full and spill out onto others.
What would make parenting fun for you? Minimize/reduce/outsource as many of the negative things as possible.
You are not the roles you play!
When you’re truly motivated from a place of love & care, you’ll find the right words & actions (vs. operating out of fear or anger).
Holding your goodness to light. Self-compassion. Do things that are kind. Trust your intuition. Break down old paradigms.
Keep it flexible enough and use as a clear guideline. It liberates you from attachment parenting or from mainstream parenting. PERMISSION to be uniquly you, permission to LOVE who you are.

Most women create their identities around who they love. So, claiming the role of “ME!” means that you love your SELF.
And I cannot imagine a more empowering mindset than self love.

Hi I’m Isabelle and I’m an overcomplicator. Are you an overcomplicator, too? Welcome to the club!
What are some of the ways we overcomplicate?
This was me! Seriously, as a young mom, I so often felt unsure of myself, like I didn’t really know what I was doing and why didn’t anyone tell me it would be this hard, or confusing, or painful???
But here’s the biggest lesson I learned both in parenting and humaning…
Clarity comes from taking action. Say that again!
Take Action
So, wherever you are on your journey, whatever is on the horizon for you, the ideas here can help you move forward with more confidence and ease. With 3 tips for how to be more decisive and 5 simple steps for how to take decisive action.
We can’t think our way through challenges. Or out of our problems. We can’t think our way to perfection. Or even into things working out how we want!
At some point, we have to roll up our sleeves and just do it. Try that lesson. Be willing for it to flop. Because when things don’t go well, or don’t go as planned…that’s just as much of a learning experience as when everything goes swimmingly well.
And guess what? You’re also modeling for your kids that it’s ok to try things without knowing how it will turn out. That we learn from just seeing what happens. From observing the outcome and making adjustments from there.
Remember to celebrate your successes as well as your efforts! Celebrate your willingness to try!
Some things will work well for a while and then fall away. And that’s ok too. That’s just how it is. But in order to keep that forward momentum going, we need to stop overcomplicating and choose the next step.
Here are three tips for how to be more decisive…
3 Tips for How to Be More Decisive
That’s how you gradually but incrementally improve. And gain that forward momentum that we all need in order to feel inspired to continue.
This is in part a personality thing, of course. Some of us feel a sense of heaviness about decision-making…like we don’t know enough or it feels like too big of a responsibility. Others of us want to continually change our minds, thinking there must be something better we just don’t know about yet. Some of us just decide and then regret our choice, thus going back to making a new decision. And others of us just drag our feet and keep saying “I don’t know what to do next.” OR “I don’t know how.”
My own personal experience early on…I kept constantly changing my mind. Every time there was a challenge or even push back from my kids, I’d start questioning my decisions. I’d think I was doing this mom thing wrong. So I’d do more research, ask another friend how she was handling nap time, stall, even do nothing some days because I didn’t know what to do.
There are hundreds of ways to raise a child…all these options are great… Until they get in your way of moving forward. I just want you to remember that you can and will find your OWN way.
Here’s what that looks like…
We want to commit, implement, observe, tweak, and move forward.
5 Action Steps to be More Decisive
And that very first step, to commit, requires us to make a decision. To make a choice.
My suggestion is you find someone further down the path than you are, find out why and how they did things, get in touch with your intuition about your child, situation, family…and then simply decide.
It’s ok to rely on people you see as “experts” – it’s ok to learn more. But don’t let that slow you down. Give yourself a time frame. And then simply go all in.
I want to let you know first of all, you are not alone. And secondly, you can get past this. By gaining confidence in yourself. By recognizing this tendency and stepping out of that pattern. So you don’t stay spinning in that place of considering all the options all the time. Sometimes we just have to choose.
Wherever you are on this journey or whichever type of decision maker you are, you can practice making decisions with more confidence and ease.
Speed, commitment, and forward momentum will get you to your goals so much faster. Will help you accomplish more. AND gain that confidence we all crave so much.
Just decide. Remember, you can always change your decision! But beware that you don’t do this too often. Because then you dilute the impact of your decision.
Indecision can keep you stuck. This can negatively impact your homeschool in big ways. And truly overcomplicate things.
As a reminder, here are the 5 steps to being more decisive:
commit, implement, observe, tweak, and move forward
Embracing & Living Out Our EMPOWERED Choices
So today, I invite you to practice being more decisive! This can make a huge impact on your life…making it more fun, more interesting, and yes, more successful.
Here are some simple truths to remember:
And, if we want the disempowering inner chatter to stop, we need to be bold and decisive and commit to the choices we have made. We need to choose again.
And then we need to just get on with it!
I’ll leave you with this wonderful quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe…
“Whatever you can do or dream, you can begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now!”

The Three Levels of Wisdom: a concept of how we learn and integrate knowledge and wisdom. I use this concept with everything I do from setting goals, creating to-do lists, coaching to clients, create content, write books, etc.
It rests on the concept that there are three levels of wisdom and consciousness. We all use all three, but sometimes we are leaning into one or two more than the others and that can sometimes make us feel stuck and out of balance. We also typically have a favorite way of learning information and retain knowledge. Knowing your style will support you in school, in business, and making decisions for instance. Tapping into all THREE wisdoms levels can support you to live more authentically and in balance with your natural way of being/learning.
The idea is to be connected to your heart, mind, and body to feel most empowered and accomplished and be in balance and harmony 😉 in your life.
Level 1: Mind. Receiving information on a mind level. This is the level many "thinkers" and philosophers are at. Many entrepreneurs love this level as it allows them to learn and retain information, but it's also very safe as you don't need to apply so much of yourself to actually DO anything. Much of the education system rest on this level and love to teach from the mind, vs knowledge and how to think for yourself. (One of the biggest reasons I decided to start an online school.)
Level 2: Turning information into knowledge by applying/practicing/and doing something with the information. Some programs and education work from this level with applied knowledge, but many don't. So people who learn by practicing and doing, love to be at this level. However, it's also the level where are limitations are self doubt. It's easy to feel self conscious and go up to the first level because we think we need to learn something different if we "fail." Maybe we need a new strategy, but often times it could be that we just need to do stick with it more times and learn something more about what we are already doing right. Dropping down to our wisdom level can support us to know and affirm what we already know to be true.
Level 3: Wisdom. Once we have practiced our knowledge, learned from it, and applied it, it will eventually become wisdom. This wisdom serves as our guide in life and supports us to live more authentically and in tuned with our values and ways of being. This is the level when we usually feel very grounded, self assured, empowered and in flow.
We go through all of these levels continuously as a part of learning. Knowing which level you operate out of at any moment can be very beneficial in seeing your blind spots and what needs to shift.
