The big epic fantasy stories, from Middle Earth to Dune to Pandora, have a lot of prophecies involved in the storytelling, and Nick is kind of over it. Is it because he's not part of anyone's prophecy? Probably.
Oh, and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is discussed. We think it was lacking in a prophecy, but don't quote us on that.

It happens all the time. You have an idea, a flash of brilliance, but no chance to write it down or otherwise capture it. Later, once it's forgotten, you think, "That was the best thing I'll ever come up with, and now it's gone."
