Jealousy is something we all have felt in our relationships.

We get so caught up in wanting to be something else/someone else!

In this episode we talk through why this is, how it impacts our relationships, and how we can ditch jealousy and embrace who God made us to be.

As people of faith, we know and believe the Word of God and the promises of God. We may be able to quote scripture forwards and backwards, but we often set aside our faith completely when it comes to our relationships.

Today I discuss how to apply your faith to your relationships and walk you through 1 Corinthians 13.

Today we are going to be talking about something that I have personally struggled with, something that I have had to change my mindset about so many times and something that I’ve seen that steals from others.

I’m always out to stop the strategies of the enemy, because we have the Wisdom of God and the Holy Spirit, we can outsmart him. So I always like to stay one step ahead or many steps ahead, of course.

I’m talking about comparison. Something that I have seen effect so many- regardless of race, gender, socioeconomic status…regardless..comparison is something that has probably plagued all of us at one time or another. As much as we try to run from insecurity and believe that we are confident, it is so natural to compare ourselves to each other.

As a believer, as a person of faith- we aim to please the Lord. All we desire is to be found accepted, approved, affirmed in this pursuit.

The problem with this, is that it becomes too much about ourselves and what WE can do for God, that we take on the pressure of it all.

I’m so excited to talk to you today about something so close to my heart.

I typically am more of a private person, but really felt the leading of the Lord to share this piece of my life with you as I believe that it can help some of you if you’re on a similar journey, if you have children, if you desire to have children, or if you just love hearing about the miracles God can make possible.

I talk through how Joel's challenges affected my marriage and my relationship with God. I pray this blesses you!
