Daniel records the final night of the Babylonian Empire, as the king holds a party that is nothing but a drunken orgy. When the king decides to use the cups from the temple in Jerusalem, a hand writes on the wall, but no one can seem to understand the meaning of the words.

Finishing the fourth chapter of Daniel, we see that the warning issued to King Nebuchadnezzar comes to fulfillment a year later, with the known world's ruler reduced to little more than a beast. It is not until Nebuchadnezzar accepts God as his Lord that he is restored to his dominion.

Several centuries after the exile, a caravan of wise men soujourned to Israel to find the Promised One.
