The migrated podcast is a conversation-style interview series, tracing the life stories of first-generation movers, shakers, and settlers. Each guest on the podcast has taken charge of their destiny and made waves in their respective areas of work while continuing to deal with changing visa situations and family
The guest for this episode, Kirpan Dhillon is based out of Canada. Kirpan is widely known across social media, for calling out migrant employers on providing bad working conditions and the ill-treatment of newly migrated employees.
She has taken the lead in raising awareness about migrant rights and fair practices. Her fight though is not against a government agency but with the migrant community around her. We go over her efforts and motivation behind creating content, what she hopes to achieve through her work, challenges with adversaries, finding work midst the hate, and being an opinionated girl in an evolving but unappreciative community.
In this episode, we talk to Diletta Legowo who is an amazing artist, creative producer, and marketing expert. Additionally, she is also a certified yoga teacher and someone I believe is well in touch with herself as she is with the world.
This episode is unlike most others, after touching upon Delitta’s moves across the world as an Indonesian Diplomat’s daughter, we took an inroad to our deeper selves and did some exploring. The conversation with Diletta took a deep spiritual turn as we tried to answer questions like the notion of home, how experiences change our stories and our place in the world.
