MarketingCrazy presents, Sellers Gone Wild … the Podcast, with Evan Margolin of MarketingCrazy. The podcast will be sharing business insights and strategies for online selling, in many of its forms, starting with Private Labelling and FBA (with Amazon) and eventually covering all ecommerce categories and sales channels. The podcast covers online business strategies, tips, interviews and workshops, and while initially focussing on private label and FBA with Amazon. In later episodes, the podcast will cover online and web stores, online sales, website sales, conversion strategies, advertising, promotion and marketing tips.
The show will not only cover general marketing principles, such as email list building, SEO, and PPC (both Amazon, Google, and other major players), but also covers the basics of online selling starting with finding and sourcing great products, and every point in between your product creation and the buyer’s hands (and we don’t stop there).
All the strategies, tips, tricks and general education for what’s working now, in our private label, Amazon FBA, and online ecommerce businesses.
Today we’re talking tools and tackling the number one question I get asked - what does this business really cost. Before we start, I wanted to share a tip that helps me accomplish as much as I can each day to move my business forward. Before I go to sleep I make a list of three things I will accomplish the next day and I attempt to get through all three. I suggest you do the same and let me know how well it works for you.
I’ve been using Feedback Genius for some time as it works to automate seller feedback, and handle product reviews for my Amazon business. I believe anybody who uses a tool like this will do better in their business. I’m going to explore a new tool, Salesbacker which does the same types of things, but also provides stats on how well your emails are performing over time. I’ll be checking it out and may switch if it performs well. The next tool I discuss is actually many tools in one. Amazoworks, only has a few tools ready now, but additional ones are coming and will do everything from automating tweets to getting reviews. The third tool tip of the day is Snagshout, a pay per coupon code redemption that I have found is resulting in getting back a higher level of reviews.
Running an Amazon FBA is really one of the most cost-effective businesses I’ve ever seen. I often get asked just how much does it really cost. It certainly has less overhead than what's associated with a brick and mortar business. It is inexpensive to get started. I’ll fill you in on cost amounts associated with these main areas:
Education Inventory Marketing Promotion Overhead Costs
People have a fear that this is going to cost a lot of money. Investments, like inventory, are the things that are going to immediately make you money.

Today’s podcast comes to you from Las Vegas. I’m at an Amazon Conference along with about 800 other people. Today I’ll take a look at a few things all the sellers are buzzing about here. There is another conference in early August that I’ll be here for. It’s a sourcing show and a good place to get ideas for merchandise, to meet people and do some wholesale sourcing. You can find out more about it at asdonline.com (http://www.asdonline.com/)
One topic of discussion here is cash flow. The cash flow problems associated with growing quickly can be crushing. It’s sometimes hard to be able to reorder product as you wait for the money on your sales to come in. Banks don’t generally lend large sums of money to at home businesses and credit cards can pose some difficulties. I solved this problem by using Kabbage (https://www.kabbage.com/). They are able to analyze your bank transactions and business accounts very quickly and pre-approve you on the spot. They will then debit your account monthly with a small and reasonable fee. It’s a very fast process.
The sellers here are also talking about the abundance of tools. I feel that if a tool impinges on your cash flow, don’t buy it. Get educated and get your product going and then take a look at tools you think you need for your business. Don’t get overwhelmed by all the tools that are out there.
Lots of talk here too about the use of Youtube and Facebook video ads. Those ads lead to rankings on Amazon. The great part about them is the re-targeting ads which tell somebody, especially on Facebook, that we saw you didn’t buy the product and here’s a discount if you buy now. These types of ads are really taking off.
The last thing I talk about is Amazon Prime Day. The media may have downplayed the success of it, but a whole lot of people saw a big increase in sales during the one day event. Amazon says it was a bigger sales day for them than Black Friday.
Please check out my upcoming free online bootcamp (http://www.fbacrazy.com/). My private label FBA bootcamp will give you the help you need to get started, step-by-step. If you’re already a seller, we’ll have some tips to propel you further. Sign up today!

On today’s episode of Sellers Gone Wild I’m going to talk about the hurdles that keep people from getting started selling their first product on Amazon. I always planned to be the CEO of a company. I was very driven in law school. I then went into a video game startup because it was one of my passions and it worked out quite nicely. Dancing is another passion of mine and I built a brand around products relating to that. Now I am hooked on selling on Amazon and it has worked out so very well. Where you find the intersection between passion and products that make sense to create because they are in demand, you will find success on Amazon.
If you find you’re stuck in getting that first product on Amazon, here are some tips that I explain:

Today has been a crazy business day. I have a list of things that I’ve accomplished just today in launching a new product. I want to take you along on my trip down the rabbit hole and give you some key points about what I’ve done today.
First, an important reminder that my free online sellers bootcamp is coming up on July 22. It’s time to sign up for the bootcamp which will give you an overview of what it takes to become an FBA Amazon private label seller.
I am putting out new products on a steady basis and here’s a quick summary of what I accomplished just today:
The product is already selling and there are still a few more things for me to do today!
What have you done today? Let me know at marketingcrazy.com/crazy (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy). Please check out my podcasts at marketingcrazy.com/podcast (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/podcast).
The topic today is all about product reviews. Customers that leave feedback impact the buying decision of other potential customers and that’s a big part of the reason product reviews are so very important.
For reviews, my first step is to reach out to family and friends. I will record a quick video that has them go through the process of searching for my product on Amazon and purchasing it. This usually involves 100 people for me. I then continue to email them to see if they followed through. I usually get a 50% response rate and end up with 20 to 30 product reviews. As I explain, this is an involved process which requires me to be tenacious.
My next step is using Tomoson (https://www.tomoson.com/) which allows you to give away products to bloggers and target groups who then create word of mouth buzz about the product.
Then I follow that with a Facebook funnel review group. I add AMZ Tracker (https://www.amztracker.com/) and private Facebook review groups.
A very important step is an automated sequence of emails, where the buyer is told their order has been received, then the product has shipped, asking if they received it and asking if they could leave a review. There are tools that automate the process and I recommend Feedback Genius (http://www.feedbackgenius.com/). Another automation tool is Feedback Five (http://www.feedbackfive.com/). Tools like these keep sales and reviews going over time.
Please understand that the review process takes time, but the reviews will be worth the time it takes.
I will be offering a one and one half hour Boot Camp that will tell you what the first stages are in starting an Amazon business. Head over to Online Sellers Gone Wild (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/) to learn more about it.
What have you done that’s crazy that has propelled your business this week? Let me know at marketingcrazy.com/crazy (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy). Please check out my podcasts at marketingcrazy.com/podcast (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/podcast/podcasts/).
I’m on the road again! Today’s episode is all about how to move along the process of sourcing your product and how not to get hung up on forks in the road. Once you’ve done all the research and have a product you believe people will want, now it’s time to get it! Woo Hoo!!
On today’s episode of the Online Sellers Gone Wild podcast, I’ll go through the steps of sourcing and the things that need to be done while you are engaged in the act of sourcing.
First stop is Alibaba (http://www.alibaba.com/). Search your product out there and then contact 5 vendors that catch your eye as far as matching your request and your pricing. This will be your starting point for negotiations. And you’ll have to do a lot of negotiating. Ultimately, you’ll want to work with 3 to 5 vendors who can produce your product and can continue negotiating. Instead of doing this by email and waiting on responses, consider using Skype to speed up the process. However you negotiate, keep good records of which vendor is sending what to you.
While you are doing that, also check Google for a supplier in the U.S. It can be a good way to save time and shipping costs. If you find a vendor in the U.S. call them and negotiate by phone.
While you are continuing the sourcing process, start to hammer out the details. Here are some things you need to work on while the sourcing is ongoing:
As for the forks in the road, those are the things that sidetrack you from getting your product in a box and listed. Especially if this is your first product, stay away from the distractions. The only exception to that would be any legal matters you need to get straight.
What have you done that’s crazy this week? Let me know at www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy. (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy) If you're enjoying the show please leave us a review in iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/sellers-gone-wild/id1006831831?mt=2).
This time I’m actually driving in my car while podcasting...Woo Hoo. That’s crazy! I’m inspired by John Lee Dumas and his daily podcast Entrepreneur on Fire. He inspires me to do more podcasting which in turn allows me to break down what I’m doing as I discuss it.
On today’s episode of the Online Sellers Gone Wild podcast, I talk about product selection as it applies to Amazon business. When you are choosing a product there are two really important factors to consider:
Choose a product based on your passion. Research it thoroughly to really be sure it’s a product buyers want.
My product selection method has changed dramatically. I now go through a number of very important steps before settling on what I’m going to sell. It’s all about research for me.
Some of the tools I use in research include:
Amazon searches and that includes selling ranks, categories and all similar products. Jungle Scout, an Amazon product research tool. Camel Camel Camel, an Amazon price tracker which I use to see how a product performs over the long term. MerchantWords, a tool to which shows what Amazon users are searching. Amz Shark and Amz Tracker
Knowing the conversion rate of a product is essential and using tools like these will help you determine if your passion is going to translate into a business.
Here is the lineup I have planned for future episodes. Leave a message with your vote for the topic of the upcoming shows. I'll discuss the results of the poll in upcoming shows:

SGW 007: One Day on the Shopify Tour, 3 Mind Numbing Realities and how they relate to our Amazon Business, Private Label and FBA, and our Future
Woohoo, Episode #7! Something crazy every week. Yes, this episode came out of the blue, as many undoubtedly will, as I went to the shopify retail tour, and spent the day among experts, gurus, and aimless wanderers. Lesson learned? Canadians Rock. No really.
I walked away with an even greater appreciation for what we do, and how we are positioned in the online selling space. I know we're here to talk about Amazon (for now), but allow me to digress for one short episode.
This is something that has the potential to propel your business forward.

Speaker 1: Test, test, test, test. All right. It looks like we’re doing good. Hello, everybody. Welcome to Online Sellers Gone Wild, episode number seven of our crazy, crazy podcast. This is an unscheduled episode because something cool happened to me today and I thought I’d share it with the crazy nation. What have you done crazy this week? We’d love to hear what have you done crazy in your business, www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy? Let us know what you’ve done that’s a little bit wild this week. We would love to know. All right, so I'm going to get right to Sellers Gone Wild episode number seven, One day on the Shopify tour. Three mind-numbing realities and how they relate to our Amazon businesses, private label, FBA and eventually, our future.
Heavy stuff, but it’s going to be a very short episode, very, very short indeed. This is just how I spent my day and then few big things kind of came up, then I decided I would share it with all of you. This is episode number seven and we’re talking Shopify. That’s right. We’re not going to talk necessarily directly about Amazon and that’s a little bit off because we just finished our kind of Amazon FBA overview, but today, just in my business, I was working on Ecommerce outside of Amazon on a shopping platform called Shopify. We use many different kind of tools to build our online stores that are off of Amazon and we also build stores in WordPress and things of that nature, but Shopify is actually a kind of online monthly fee where they make building a store extremely easy.
I'm new to Shopify, relatively new. They’ve been around for a few years and I to say that it was the easiest store I’ve ever built in my life. It was literally about an hour that it took me to build that store. I was pretty happy with it. We got our first sale in the store within probably one day of building it. It was a domain name that had already been used, but it was really quick until we got our first sale. I'm not a Shopify fanatic, but let me tell you, I'm on my way because it was really easy. It’s very fun to use and you can add functionality to your store very easily. Shopify is a way to build an online store outside of Amazon. It’s a supplement to your Amazon business.
I still think Amazon is the number one way to get started by far especially in the FBA private label or the private label side of the business. Amazon is so great and I'm going to tell you why in a second, but here is what happened. I got an e-mail that Shopify is coming to my town, San Franciso and I didn’t want to miss it. They’re going to be here all week and they’re going to have all sorts of vendors that are giving speeches and they have all sorts of how to use Shopify. I was excited and I ended up going there this morning and I ended up spending the whole day at what is known as the Shopify tour
Woohoo, Episode #6! Something crazy every week. That's my mantra! Something that has the potential to propel your business forward. In this episode, we finally continue our discussion from Episode 2, continuing to lay out the overall FBA / Private Label business plan, and reviewing our 8 steps (and ending with #9).
The first four steps, we quickly covered in Episode 2 and Episode 5, and now we continue covering with the final steps of the amazon overview. We continue where we left off, right after getting our product on amazon and then getting our initial product reviews, press releases, and videos, and outside traffic. What comes next?

Speaker 1: Hello, everybody and welcome to that crazy online sellers gone wild. Loving it. Thank you so much for tuning in to episode number six of our crazy podcast. We're just getting started. What have you done crazy this week? We'd love to hear: www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy. As I told you, I try everything and I bought pretty much everything there is to buy with regards to this FBA private label thing.
The benefit is, for you, that you get this inside look at these things and what results I'm getting in my business. I am living it day-to-day, this is full-time. This week's episode, we have to finish up our overall private label plans. Over the last few episodes, we've dibbled and dabbled, and we've gotten up to about step six of the overall FBA plan. Now, we're going to finish it all up.
Now, there are actually ten steps but we're going to stop at number nine because the tenth is a little more crazy, so we will get all the way through six, seven, and eight today, that's my hope. Without further ado, I'm watching the clock this time. I'm going to keep it short and to the point.
We left off with our product on Amazon, our initial reviews, and we were starting on promotion, which in this business means coupons, giveaways, trying to get reviews, trying to rank your product via certain keywords that you believe buyers are going to use to buy your products, keywords with merchant intent or buyer intent.
You're doing this via sending traffic, coupon or promotional traffic, through URLs that may have the keywords embedded or you're doing what will eventually be the way that everyone does it, which is telling people to type in a certain word or giving them a step-by-step detailed plan of how they have to find your product on Amazon. What keywords they actually have to type in, and then making them go to Amazon, type in those keywords, find your product, and buy it. Definitely a more nature way than these so-called super URLs. Although these super URLs have been working crazily well for so long. I think the whole's going to go into a panic when they suddenly stop working. Which, in my opinion, they will. So, be prepared for that.
Honestly, this section that we talked about last week and we're kind of finishing up this week -- Part five of the overall plan is endless. It just goes on endlessly. We discussed four ways to do promotion from your Facebook funnel to bloggers to casual review groups to paid professional services that blast out your product. Each individual one of those is easily a podcast in and of itself so the benefit now is to know that they exist and know that those are going to be some of the main ways you attack promotion through the business.
Now that we're starting Part Six, we actually have to start thinking both long and short term. We've already built our base of reviews, we're already getting ranked on what we believe our best keywords are,
Woohoo, Episode #5! Something crazy every week. That's my mantra! Something that has the potential to propel your business forward. In this episode, we finally continue our discussion from Episode 2, continuing to lay out the overall FBA / Private Label business plan, and reviewing our 8 steps.
The first four steps, we quickly covered in Episode 2 (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/podcast/2015/06/15/sgw-002-the-crazy-continues-the-first-few-steps-of-the-private-label-amazon-fba-model/) and now we continue covering Steps 5 and part of 6. We continue where we left off, right after getting our product on amazon and then getting our initial product reviews, and what comes next.
Specifically, we're talking about Amazon Sponsored Ads (PPC), and also the overview of Promotion.

Speaker 1: Hello. Hello everybody, hello everybody. All right, let's get to this. Let's do this. Hello everybody and welcome to the crazy online sellers gone wild. It's an awesome title. We really love it now. Look at this, five episodes in, we love it. Thank you so much for tuning into episode number five of our crazy, crazy podcast. What have you done crazy this week? We'd love to hear, www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy, let us know what you've done crazy in your business, maybe what you've done crazy in life as well.
Also a quick note. In this podcast, especially in the last few episodes, I personally use a lot of tools. As I told you on the very first episode, I basically purchase every course, I buy every tool, I'm in every group, I'm doing pretty much everything one man can possibly do, whether it's the Amazon business, our ecommerce business, Shopify, whatever, I use tools. I love tools. I freaking love anything that makes my business better and my life easier. Seriously that's what it boils down to, probably for you too, and I recommend them all the time and I just want to be upfront and clear. I will never recommend anything that I don't personally use or have tried, only products I really think will make a difference. It's my absolute promise to you. I said that in the first episode and I'm going to re-say it again.
I talk about a lot of tools and I just want everybody to know it's coming from a good place and these are things that I personally use and I pay for every month. There's no special weird anything going on. As I said before though, it is a business so it will … It's not really. This isn't a business but I am a business man, so there will be actual affiliate links sometimes whenever I get around to it really because these affiliate links are more like buying a cup of Starbucks, or in my case Peet's coffee, every once in a while. Not quite a massive money making endeavor.
Regardless, as I told you I try everything, I bought pretty much everything there is to buy, I'm going to continue to do that. Even though last week I put myself on a hiatus and that hiatus lasted actually a couple of weeks, and it's still lasting to this point, meaning I'm not buying and or visiting all these groups very much currently. I'm really trying to focus more on my business. I love to learn,
Woohoo, Episode #4! Something crazy every week. That's my mantra! Something that has the potential to propel your business forward. Here I talk about three of my crazy things ...

Speaker 1: Hello, everybody and welcome back to the Crazy Online Sellers Gone Wild. Now, we're starting to really like the name Online Sellers Gone Wild. Hopefully you do too. Thank you so much for tuning into episode number 4 of our crazy, crazy Podcast. We absolutely love what we're doing, what have you done crazy this week. We would love to hear, www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy, let us know what you're doing that's crazy in your business and we're going to let you today, know what we're doing that's crazy in ours. This week's episode, the 3 epic things I did this week in my business that I consider crazy at least for me. Last week, we touched base on the road blocks and here is a few crazy things that I've done this week to get through my road blocks because guess what, we all have them. I have them, probably more than most.
I am easily distracted and I definitely had to get through several road blocks in my business which I did and I'm going to tell you how I did that in a second. We're going to have no hold barred discussion. You'll be hearing it direct from someone so deep in the trenches, is this really the only time I come out to record this Podcast. Let's get right to it. The top 3 things I did to kind of change my work week around. The first thing I did, I turned off the noise and there is so much noise. Well, I've only been an Amazon FBA for fairly short period doing the way we do it now. I've been a part timer shall I say, for quite some time and I can tell you, this phase has gone insane.
The FBA private label space. You have to turn it off and I mean, completely turn it off, disengage, get away from it all and focus on what execution. You have to focus on executing in your business. Execute, execute, execute. There is always more to learn, there is always another course. There is always another launch, there is always a new software product. There is always a new technique, tactic, traffic source. There is always something else that you can do and let me tell you, before you source their product, gotten it online and are launching it, none of it matters. You better find those products and do things in a certain order so you can actually have money coming in.
At the end of the day, we do need these business to be profitable as well as absurdly fun which it really is. Let me tell you a little bit about what I did. As I told you, I buy everything. I mean, I literally buy every course, I get every tool, I'm really ... I'm really crazy when it comes that way and this week, I turned it off. I turned off everything. For me, that meant, not in order of importance. I stopped surfing the internet aimlessly. I stopped channel surfing endlessly. I stopped watching Netflix while I work. That was a big one. I stopped watching Netflix while I was working. I stopped making myself my endless paleo meals, some more on that later but I stopped cooking basically and kind of got food delivered for a little while.
I stopped checking Facebook groups,
This week I wanted to discuss a few of the things that we've run into as roadblocks, and a few ideas of how we overcame them. It's not exhaustive, but it's a start, and the hope is you see yourself somewhere in here, and the ideas we come up with help you get past these barriers.

Speaker 1: Okay. Not started yet. Not started yet. Not started yet. Starting. Starting. Starting. Starting. Starting, now. Hello everybody and welcome to the crazy, online sellers gone wild. Yes, we are even still sticking with the wild for now. Thank you so much for tuning in episode number three of our processes of being born podcast. What have you done crazy this week? We'd love to hear; www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy. Let us know. We cannot wait to hear what things you've accomplished.
This week's episode: the seven deadly roadblocks to this awesome private label FBA business, where are we getting stuck? Last week we discussed the first four steps in our private label FBA business. Stopping after quickly getting the item listed on amazon.com. This week we talk about roadblocks in those steps and quick ways to preserver and overcome, but before we do that let's review the four steps we talked about, and I promise to be a whole lot faster and a lot more concise.
We're going to find a product and create a product that is selling well in, ideally, a niche that isn't too overcrowded. We're going to be using Amazon to really drive our sales; therefore we're going to be look for products that are already selling on Amazon. We are going to make them better. We're going to find out what is possibly not perfect with those products and we're going to do a better job creating those products and we're going to do a better job sourcing those products for cheaper, and we certainly are going to do a better job at marketing those products, which is what is coming up in later episodes.
We're going to ensure that we can make enough profit, a minimum of five, but ideally ten or fifteen dollars per product that we sell. We're going to evaluate the price that people are selling at and make sure we're selling a product that fits within a certain price range. We definitely want to make sure our product is within a good range so we can make enough profit per item that we sell, so we're not only going after the things that we're super passionate about. Hopefully we have something that we do enjoy though, and that's going to play a part in what we're going to talk about in today's episode.
Also don't forget there's an item called the Amazon FBA Revenue Calculator, it's basically the way you can see how much cost on top of the item costs Amazon is going to take out of your profits, so you want to make sure you look about three things when we talk about profit. You want to make sure you have the item cost, with the shipping, so you want to make sure item cost, shipping. Then you got to look at what kind of chunk Amazon is going to take out of the product, that's number two. What they're going to cost to ship it, how much they're going to cost to kind of get the item out there to your customers.
Then number three, the cost to promote it. You got to cook in all this cost and after all that you got to be making minimum of five dollars, but really, ideally, ten or fifteen. We've got a product,
The Crazy continues as we discuss the first few steps of the private label and FBA business model (and lifestyle). This is a long one, but sets a good foundation for what's to come. Reminder - I talk fast, and yes, you may want to take notes as we go.
Alert - you have to scroll to the BOTTOM of the post to play the recording! Sorry about that, I'm sure we'll figure it out shortly.
Did you miss Episode #1 (http://www.marketingcrazy.com/podcast/wp-admin/post.php?post=6&action=edit)? You might want to listen to that first.
I had so much fun recording this thing. Seriously! What an eye opener it is to teach something as a way to learn. I really narrowed down to what's important, and while I only made it through a few of the steps I had outlined, I'm pretty happy with the result!

Evan Margolin: Hello everybody and welcome to The Crazy Online Sellers Gone Wild. Yes, we're sticking with the wild for now. Thank you so much for tuning in to episode #2 of our fledgling podcast. Whoohoo. We are ready to roll.
This is Evan Margolin and what have you done crazy this week? We would love to hear, what have you done crazy this week in your business, go ahead, drop us a line www.marketingcrazy.com/crazy. Let us know.
This week's episode, we're going to cover the eight steps of Amazon, FDA and private labeling - what you need to know. Really those five core steps, I don't know how far we're going to get but we're really going to get down to the meat of what you need to know, what you don't and why you'll never stop learning these steps. They're endless. There's an endless amount of depth but the steps themselves are very clear and concise.
Other business models exist, especially for Amazon and online selling but we're not going to look at those right now. We're not going to look at arbitrage or wholesaling, even those some people do okay with those, we want to create something. I've been looking so forward to this episode. Honestly, ever since I recorded episode #1, I can barely think or talk about anything else. Can't contain my excitement. It's been really fun preparing this and laying it out and it's been a great learning process for me. I hope it's going to be great for you as well.
I want to explain what happened to me when my life was heading in a totally different direction, heading to a totally different space, how I personally found this business model and it really resonated with me and I'm going to lay out the whole thing for you end to end, general overview of private label FDA as it relates to Amazon as I see it. This is all personal opinions from here on out. There's a lot of ways to come at this but I think you're going to like this one.
This is going to be a fairly long episode, I'm afraid so I hope you've got a little time.

Presenter: Direct from the Internet Marketing X-Files, Marketing Crazy brings you “Online Sellers Gone Wild”, a straightforward look at online business, private labeling, FBA, and online selling at a crazy, crazy level.
Evan: Hello, everybody, and welcome to the crazy. What have you done crazy today? That’s a question I’m probably going to be asking for a good long time. My name is Evan Margolin. This is the very first episode of Marketing Crazy: Sellers Gone Wild Podcast. We may actually change that to “Sellers Gone Crazy” at some point, but it’s about all things related to the business of online selling starting with FBA, private labeling, all the way to talking about online stories and direct-response marketing.
This show is designed to help you kill it out there. We are here to actually make everyone, including ourselves, do a whole lot better in the business of online selling. This show is for internet marketers. It’s for amazing/Amazon sellers, FBA, private label warriors. Not just those importing from around the world, and yes, in China, of course, but it’s also about what you can do right here if you live in the USA, and of course, just the randomly lost entrepreneur. We definitely want to appeal to the random lost entrepreneur who is searching for the meaning of life, got tired of packing and preparing to go to Burning Man next year, and decided he’d listen to a few podcasts or she would listen to a few podcasts, and tuned in to us. Boy, is that longwinded?
Yes. We know there are a ton of other shows out there that cover the very same topics, and we actually love some of them. We love some of them a lot. In fact, that’s the reason we’re here, and we’ll even talk about a lot of those shows. Perhaps, even interview some of them, but we felt that we can really bring something unique to the realm of podcasting and specifically, this online selling space. If we didn’t really believe we could do things different and be a unique and powerful voice, we probably wouldn’t be here and neither would you.
Give us a chance. I think you will find yourself pleasantly surprised. You’re going to love this podcast. I’m fairly sure of it. If I may be so bold, this being the very first episode, this is going to be by far the most boring episode we ever have. How is that for a selling point? Unfortunately, in this episode, I’m going to have to tell you a little bit about who I am, why I’m doing this, and what you stand to gain by keeping this podcast on red alert for new episodes.
But first, I feel that it’s obligatory to tell you a small disclaimer. We have nothing to sell. We are not selling anything. We’re not selling anything to you. We’re actually going to be learning with you, and I mean it. We don’t have a product in sight, so I just wanted to put that right out there in the very front. There is not a product in sight. We’re not selling you anything.
Let’s talk about who are. Who’s the “we”? I assure
