Jonathan Majors was on top of the world—until he wasn’t.
Earlier this year, the actor had two back-to-back movies reach No. 1 at the box office with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Creed III, in which he played compelling villains while garnering the adoration of millions of fans through his performances and his personality during interviews.
All of that came crashing down in late March when it was reported that Majors had been arrested for physically attacking a woman in a domestic dispute. The authorities took Majors into custody while the woman who called them was brought to the hospital to be treated for visible injuries. The internet was set ablaze when the news broke, but his lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, said there was evidence on her client’s side. “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent,” the criminal defense lawyer stated.
In text messages, Majors’s team released to TMZ, the woman, who she was reportedly dating at the time, told him she was “at fault” because she had reached for his phone and asked the authorities not to press charges against him.
While some people expressed concern about the woman’s safety and well-being, others wondered what this meant for the rising star’s career. While that is the least concerning aspect of the ordeal, Marvel’s future hinges on the Majors’ role as Kang the Conqueror. With his involvement up in the air and complete silence from Disney and Marvel, there is no telling what will happen next. His film Magazine Dreams is also slated for a December release.

After an angry neighbor confronted the players with a samurai sword, a Monopoly match in Belgium turned into a bloodbath — and not in the figurative board game sense.
The altercation occurred around 5 a.m. On April 2, four gamers were playing the classic strategy game outside on the sidewalk in Forest, Brussels, per local outlet La Libre.
The noise reportedly awoke the neighbors, who came outside brandishing a stick at the rowdy players, who may have been homeless, according to France’s Midi Libre.
This resulted in a heated altercation after the neighbor’s son emerged from the residence with a katana, a curved sword traditionally used by the samurai in feudal Japan.

A Tennessee police officer fired over her sex sprees with a slew of fellow cops says she felt “terrorized,” calling out her bosses for the binge.
Speaking publicly for the first time, Maegan Hall, 26, told WTVF she repeatedly tried to douse the sexual advances of her sergeant at the La Vergne Police Department — but “he wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
The on-the-job affair with Sgt. Lewis Powell led to sexual encounters with five other cops.
“I know what most people are saying,” Hall told the outlet. “You know, ‘You could’ve said no.’ I get it. But my response to them is, ‘I did say no, and he wouldn’t take it for an answer.’

A woman went viral on TikTok after she shared that her father took his own life because she married a black man.
In the TikTok video that's since been removed, Megan McElrath shared that her father deleted himself four days after she married her black husband and that half of her family no longer talks to her because they blame her.
The video had reached over one million views before TikTok removed it. Apparently, TikTok frowns upon users sharing videos about self-deletion. However, many TikTokers have since reposted the video.

A small Tennessee police station has been rocked by allegations of wild sexual misconduct, after a married female officer allegedly had steamy romps with six male officers, including illicit on-duty liaisons, according to reports.
Officer Maegan Hall and her fellow law officers allegedly engaged in wild sexcapades that included sending dirty pictures, taking her top off at a “Girls Gone Wild” hot tub party, and even having oral sex with two officers at the La Vergne, Tenn., police station, WTVF TV reported.
The steamy shenanigans — in which Hall allegedly bragged about the size of one partner’s genitals and claimed to be in an “open marriage” — not only led Hall to be canned, but led to the firings of Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sgt. Ty McGowan and Detective Seneca Shields, according to a December internal investigation.
Two other officers who allegedly had romps with Hall — Patrick Magliocco and Larry Holladay — kept their jobs but wound up suspended, according to the reports.

Authorities say about 60 containers of bull sperm were stolen from a farm in the town of Olfen, 90 kilometers (56 miles) northeast of Cologne, late Monday or early Tuesday.
Police said in a statement Wednesday that while it’s unclear how the rustle happened, the precious cargo needs to be supercooled with liquid nitrogen at –196 Celsius degrees (–320 Fahrenheit) so it isn’t spoiled.
They are seeking tips from the public that might lead to the recovery of the sperm, which was intended for artificial insemination.

The Hampden County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release that its deputies were at the scene of an ongoing eviction on Oct. 12 when Rorie Susan Woods pulled up to the scenehe stopped when the bees began circling the area. Deputies said Woods was towing manufactured beehives behind her SUV, and she immediately got out of the car and began opening the lids of the hives to let the bees out.
A deputy at the scene tried to stop her, but when the bees began circling the area, he stopped. At that point, deputies said Woods smashed the lid to a hive and flipped a hive off of the flatbed, prompting the angry bees to sting several officers and innocent bystanders, deputies said in the news release.
Deputies said Woods then put on a beekeeper suit and carried a “tower of bees” to the home's front door, in what investigators said was an attempt to stop the eviction.

A man armed with a handgun shot and killed six people and injured several others in a mass shooting at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, on Tuesday night, according to police.
