Welcome to Page After Page. I read books I loved as a child and hope you’ll enjoy them with me now. This podcast began during the pandemic as a way to read books to my granddaughter even though we were separated by an entire continent. Then it turned out I still enjoyed reading books that I had liked reading as a child. I hope you enjoy hearing them as much as I enjoyed reading them.

When you sit down to [read] it, don't be so ridiculous as to suppose you are sitting in judgment on my taste, or on the art of Kenneth Grahame. You are merely sitting in judgment on yourself. You may be worthy; I don't know. But it is you who are on trial."
