In this ninth session, we introduce a new series and build on a slightly different conversation than what has been spoken about in this podcast. In this new series, "What It's Like," we sit down and come together to find out how individual life experiences differ and how they share similarities. We dismantle what society has warped society to now think and what standards have been put in place that are counter-productive.In this first part, we tackle what it's really like to be a man today. We look at it from a general societal standpoint and then we tie it into what it's like to be a man in the eyes of God. We tackle a list we found on Google that states the best characteristics that a man should have. We notice that this list seems to have things that are self-seeking for the individual who made the list, and it is not what is supposed to be prescribed to others. There is a difference between prescription and description.

In this eighth session, we introduce a new topic and build on a slightly different conversation than what has been spoken about in this podcast. In this new series, "Traditions" we sit down and point out the different routines and habits that have been passed down through generations. We realize that just because something is a "tradition" doesn't mean it should still be done or held onto. Traditions can act like generational curses and can hold anyone back from breaking free from chains and accepting the truth that will set them free, and set them free indeed.
In this first part, we tackle traditions that are mainly found and practiced in the culture. The culture mostly touched on is Dominican culture straight from the island but also mixed with Dominican culture that has been slightly changed by living in the United States. Buying your own cleaning products when arriving at a vacation house to clean the house yourself because you don't trust the cleaning service that is professionally hired to clean the house in the first place. Vicks Vaporub, longaniza, pica pollo, natural herbal home remedies and more.
It is so interesting to see how certain traditions are carried on and how certain traditions are left behind and forgotten. There are many that keep you firm in what you believe in and make you stay true to your roots, but there are many that can keep you from progressing forward.

In continuation of our seventh session, we sit down and continue the topic of Love. We continue building off the previous conversation on how Love can be expressed in paternal and friendship relationships. Many people in this world and society hold themselves back from expressing or admitting their love for the people around them because they are too prideful and afraid to be vulnerable. Love shines its brightest where it is truly revealed, and that is only found in vulnerability,
In this fourth part, we address the Love that church pastors and leaders must-have for the members of the church. How does it feel to hug a vampire? He who is forgiven little forgives a little, and he who is loved little loves a little. Society encourages 'matching energy' but is that really what we are called to do? We revisit the events that occurred in the Garden and analyze what caused man's fall and how sin entered the world.

In this seventh session, we sit down and continue the topic of Love. We turn our attention from discussing love in a romantic stance to now a more paternal and friendship stance. Love is not just something that you experience in a romantic relationship with a partner but it is something you choose to do. Love is a choice and love is also an action. Loving others is what we were called to do and it is important to discuss the correct ways to love.
In this third part, we continue to crack down on relationship dynamics and how men and women both have innate natural roles they are inclined to fulfill in order to feel whole in a relationship. You get more with honey than you do with vinegar. We also touch on friends or people who seem to always take from you but never give back. Vampires are real? I'm tired of giving the same advice to the same person that doesn't seem to listen, do i stop doing so? Do you want me to just hear you out or do you want my advice? A big part of society encourages love but at most times the mainstream media pushes a distorted version of love that is considered transactional most times. There is no promotion of unconditional love and we come together to spread what true love is according to Jesus.

In this fifth session, we sit down and continue our essential conversation in discussing the proof of an intelligent designer (now understanding that there is one) but now with a bit of a twist. Halloween is coming up and coming up fast, but not many people know the real origins of the dark holiday.
In this third part, we observe how many people in this day and age struggle with identity and spirituality. More and more of the population is now transitioning from identifying themselves with a specific religion or belief to identifying as just "spiritual." But what are they being spiritual with? Or who are they being spiritual with?

In this conversation, we discuss the true dark and Celtic roots of Halloween and how the holiday has been significantly romanticized as the years have passed. We also tackle exciting topics such as New Age ideology, Astrology, and even the increasing belief in the supernatural in the United States.

In this fourth session, we sit down and continue our very important conversation in discussing the proof of an intelligent designer (now understanding that there is). Not only do we discuss proof of a creator but we discuss evidence that may very well point to the God of the Bible as being this Creator.
In this second part, we point out the innate nature that is found in humankind to always look up to a higher power whether that be a role model, government structures, or even medics and doctors as their saviors in moments where they think they need them most. We also break down how the mainstream society wants no parts of a God or higher power, but are willing to replace Him with little gods like actors and celebrities that they look up to and worship as a substitute.
In this conversation, we bring up real-time events like Kendrick Lamar wearing a diamond crown of thorns and the young people of this generation being caught up in social media and being confused about everything they know and everything that they were taught. Lawrence Krauss's definition of nothing and Stephen Colbert's rebuttals are also addressed in this episode along with many different observations of today's culture and what they are replacing the One True God with.

In this third session, we sit down and start a different but very important conversation discussing the proof of an intelligent designer (if any). Not only do we discuss proof of a creator, but we discuss evidence that may very well point to the God of the Bible as being this Creator.
We bring up real scientific and statistical anomalies that are frequently looked over by scientists who support theories like Macroevolution and those who believe in the Big Bang theory. All evidence points to a Big Bang, but do we know who "banged it"?
In this conversation, we bring up topics like the Goldilocks Zone and the mathematical and scientific impossibilities of the universe creating itself. We also discuss the properties that our Creator must have for Him to be able to create everything you see around today. In the beginning, did 'nothing' really create everything? Is science really against what the Bible teaches? Or can we come together and look deeper into the science and the Bible and realize that science may not disprove the Bible but support it?

We bring up the real purpose for "Entertainment" and the real reason why it is so crucial in this society that we live in. We dissect how certain childhood films were deliberately created to target the subconscious of children's minds to ultimately desensitize them to very real concepts like black magic so such practices can be associated with "fairytale".
This time bringing specific examples from newer movies like Doctor Strange Multiverse of Madness and TV Series like Stranger Things and Moon Knight. The many contradictions, inconsistencies, and symbolism of Hollywood are brought out to light which then leads to us presenting questions to the listener.
