Since September's officially Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, I felt it was appropriate to get this out now rather than later. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and overcame it in December 2014. It's left physical and emotional scars on my body, and the memories from that stage in my life continue to affect me on a daily basis. If you know me personally, perhaps this'll offer some explanation as to why I'm the person I am :)
