Communication is always the number one prescribed topic when it comes to relationships. If you are fighting, communicate. If you are resentful, communicate. If you want or need something... communicate.
WE all know how how it is to actually begin this practice, mainly because we are worried what our partner or others will think of us when/if we answer honestly.
In this episode join us as we ask each other questions from our new conversation cards! We give real and raw answers and we hope that every couple out there can begin to have open and honest conversation in their relationship.
The conversation cards include 100 questions through 4 topics: Mental and Spiritual, Sex and Intimacy, Past & Future, Kids & Family. You will never get bored again on date night and will never have the mundane conversations you used to!

Trigger Warning: This Episode mentions Sexual Abuse.
To put it simply, start normalizing the conversation around sex.
Our goal and passion is to open the conversation around this topic so all of the sexualization of women, abuse and misinformation stops.
As we start talking to our spouses, kids and friends about sex in a wholesome manner, things change. There is so much shame, judgement and perceived wrong doing that comes with sexuality. WE have found that as your are able to accept your own sexuality and the power within yourself you no longer subscbribe to societies views. Sexuality then turns into your own super power that you would not give to someone else. We both have come a long way to realize this.
Lets break the stigma that sex is taboo, that it is shameful and that it should be hidden. Lets rather embrace its natural state and start teaching the wholesome truths behind it.
We have created products behind this message that we are so passionate about. We truly want spouse to be able to have open conversation around sex and be able to own their individual power. If that sounds appealing to you please follow the link to our site.

If you have ever been in an argument you know that when tempers get high things just get worse. There are people that are amazing at handling tense situations and conversations and then there are people like us that have absolutely hated it and not known what to say in the moment.
In our coaching we base EVERYTHING on emotion, and in this episode we talk about these specific emotions:
Shame, Guilt, Apathy, Grief, Fear, Desire, Anger and Pride.
We teach how, that in every conversation that you have, if you communicate based on emotion you will "win". Getting out of your head or ego is a practice that takes time, however it allows you to speak emotionally. NO ONE can compete with emotion when it is expressed in the right manner.

We have had so many questions about how to navigate relationships with In-laws. This Episode we go over just that!
You marry the person you love, and the family comes with it! For good or for bad and whether we like it or not, those relationships will more than likely always be in our lives! There are people that get "cut off" by their parents and in-laws, other others that absolutely love that relationship and some that just tolerate each other. Which are you? Are you happy?
How do you stop caring what they think? How do you set realistic expectations or "boundaries" (like a lot of people like to say)? How do you start living for yourself and the family that you have created?

In this episode we give ideas on date nights, and touch on how to have good conversation that couples need to be having!

In this week's episode, we sat down to dive into our mindset for the new year, and more specifically how we're setting goals. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas yesterday! If you're like us, goal setting is the next thing on your mind. Let's dive into how we set goals personally and as a couple.
If you joined us for our discussion on expectations last week, then you can't miss this episode.
Just when we thought we'd mastered this... life happened. Needless to say, we had some relationship problems come up this week and so we snuck down into our basement, turned on our camera, and started talking through it. Come listen to us have that conversation in real-time.
The relationship truth we're tackling this week is: expectations will always equal resentment. How many expectations do you put on your spouse? How many do you put on yourself? We've recently discovered the magic of taking all of those expectations off of our relationship and watching resentments melt away.
In this episode, we're telling you guys the story of how we got there.
We want to talk about the ups and downs of trying to have a baby. We have 3 kids and are trying to have our 4th and we are not having much luck! Even though we have 3 beautiful kids, this has been a hard time for us to navigate through. We feel for those that have been in this same situation or in situations that are even harder. In this episode we touch on what is was like when we had our first all the way til now!
Think about how open and honest you are with your best friends. You'll tell them everything, shoot the shit with them and piss them off, but at the end of the day you'll still be best friends with them. Why can't a marriage and a relationship be just like that. We know it can. SHOP CHRISTMAS COUPLES CONNECTION BOX: https://grindtogetherpodcast.com/
Thanksgiving, Chistmas and New Years are the times during the year where we as a couple would always experience the most tension in our relationship. We could never agree on what we wanted to do, or where we wanted to go, or who we wanted to spend time with. The thing about it was, we were never doing things for ourselves and we were always focusing on other people. This Episode goes over how to quit doing that, and how to shift your mindset and the way you communicate this holiday season!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Ya'll spoke and we are sharing! Sadly a lot of people out there had some scary misconceptions about sex and stories that we couldn't stop laughing about. Intimacy is a very serious topic that we don't take lightly, and we share these thing in effort to help others not come across the same misshapes.
Look out for our subscription course next Monday!! We can't wait to share it with you guys!
What if there was a different way of dealing with the stresses of everyday life than we are used to?! Would you try something new?? We incorporate meditation, breathing, yoga, and energy work in our daily lives to help us better connect to ourselves and to everything around us. It is when you try to find yourself, try to find your inner peace and connect with yourself when you truly can start to change for the better!
In this episode we will even teach you our favorite form of quick breath work to try right now!
LETS DO THIS.
Do you realize how often we talk ourselves out of doing something, or going somewhere, or living how we want?! At any given moment we can feel so deeply about the change we want to implement in our lives but then immediately our head starts saying that we aren't good enough, or that it's a bad idea. In this episode we want you to question the hell out of that voice that is telling you all of those things.....then again, Is that really even you? Let's find out.
** MATT says this is by far his favorite episode we've recorded. :)
Quit people pleasing, quit doing things YOU don't want to do, quit draining your tank just to fill up someone else's. BE SELFISH in every decision, show up for yourself, chose you, and support yourself 100% of the time. We far too often look for others for validation or try and compromise when that is just betraying ourselves. Every-time we aren't selfish in our relationship it causes frustration and resentment. What if we came together and did not have to compromise on what we truly wanted in a relationship, how would that look, what would that even feel like?! Chose selfishly to be the best possible version of yourself and meet your spouse in that same situation.
Listen to hear a different perspective on how to resolve issues, preform in the bedroom, and even parent!
If you want a fair fight, don't fight me. Right?! We all have been there, when we disagree with our spouse and we end up fighting. What type of fighter are you? Do you lay it all out on the table and try and settle things quickly, or do you walk out and let time do the "healing". Every fight or hard conversation in any relationship is different but it all comes down to respect and communication. Lauren and Matt talk about how they fight, different types of fights they go through and list some of the ways they have learned to resolve issues and move forward.
Do you remember the feeling you had at the beginning of your relationship when you first held hands, or the first time you kissed?? You had sweaty palms, got butterflies in your stomach and went home all giddy! Let's bring that back in our relationships, let's find a way to fall in love with our spouses EVERY SINGLE DAY. In this episode we go over things that have worked in our relationship to be continually dating each other. Every marriage has its ups and downs, but the one thing that we can control is how we pursue our significant other. As we take time out of our day and make one another a priority being happy and loving each other just comes easy. DATE YOUR SPOUSE, we promise you wont regret it :)
https://5lovelanguages.com/quizzes/love-language Go to this link to take the Love Languages quiz to find out what your love language is! We talk about what has helped us connect, communicate and give and receive love better in our relationship. We did this by recognizing what each others love languages are. Everyone out there gives love the way they want to receive it, but its time to understand how your significant other wants and needs to be loved. The 5 love languages will help you better understand yourself and your partner, they will take you out of your comfort zone and identify key factors of relationships that need to be worked on, or that are thriving! Listen in to hear what Lauren and Matts love languages are, and good luck finding your own!!
Ever had a sex story that you may not share openly, but is too funny not share?! On This episode we share some of the best stories that were sent into us by YOU. Don't worry..... we keep names out of it! We have such a fun time going through the multiple messages that have been sent into us and we also share some of OUR most embarrassing stories! Listen in and have a laugh with us as we help couples and spouses come closer together by being open with one another!
In this episode we talk about sex and some of the things that have helped us become closer as a couple. We go over how to have better confidence in yourself, how to have open conversations about things that turn you on and the needs that you need met. At whatever point you are in your relationship there is always room for growth and improvement and we hope to help all those out there to come closer to their partner in this weeks episode!!

IT IS LAURENS 30TH BIRTHDAY!!! In this episode we go over things that have helped us learn from the past and look toward the future. Lauren talks about some key topics thats she has realized have helped her become who she is today. A lot of times we continue to do things/please people because we feel we need to, even when those situations may not be serving us how we need them to. Its time to focus on what YOU as an individual needs in order for you to feel at peace and to grow in the future! Here is a list of a few topics Lauren touches on for her personal growth:
The older I get the less I care if people like me The older I get the less I want my peace disrupted The older I get the more I’ve realized to value those who show up The older I get the more I’ve learned to ask myself questions and listen…
There are many more on her 30 things she wrote down for her 30th birthday but we can't wait to share these with you!
