Aimee Lloyd is no stranger to trials. A 25 year survivor of epilepsy, Aimee was told that her chances to be a mother were quite slim. Yet, she gave birth to a daughter. Aimee also survived a serious car accident and a divorce. It was just before the lockdown that Aimee launched her marketing and branding company, not realizing the full scope that the pandemic would bring. Now, Aimee is remarried and a mother of three, and serves actively in the Christian Chamber.
Jason Cline is one that likes to keep things simple and easy to understand. In fact, that principle guided him in the writing of his book, "Financial 180." He wanted to write a book that people would read and understand, and that is just what he did. On today's "Shepherd at Work," Mark Goldstein interviews his friend on some of the important financial lessons that Jason not only learned, but that he teaches through speaking engagements and in written articles.
Dawn Sipley has a deep heritage for broadcasters. Her grandfather was Al Chubb, who founded WAJL Radio in Orlando. "We Acclaim Jesus Lord" was this station's motto, and the meaning for its call letters. Dawn had no idea that during a missionary trip to Honduras, she would be faced with a need that is tied to her broadcasting roots, and a compelling challenge from the Lord that has impacted her life. Missionary trips are well known for changing those going...and Dawn is no exception.
Andy Searles is exemplary in his involvement with both his congregation at "Church Together" in Casselberry, but in the community at large as well. Andy serves as a chaplain for the Casselberry Police Department, and also with the Orlando City soccer club, the professional soccer team in City Beautiful. He believes that the greatest thing that we all can do is to reflect the love of Christ, both in our personal lives and through our businesses.
Briana Burdette has a joyful countenance, and for good reason - she loves what she does. She is the lead senior living advisor at Allegro, a community in Winter Park that offers inspired senior living. This establishment is a true resort for senior living, offering three tiers of service. Whether it is independent living, or assisted care that is desired, they are equipped and ready. They also have a third service - for memory care patients. Briana happily shares on all this facility has to offer.
Though he was raised in a Jewish family, it was a spontaneous meeting in a church auditorium where he had gone to spend some moments in silence that changed Jack Alan Levine's life forever. His life was wrecked in addictions, but God has brought him through to wholeness and joy. Jack is a prolific author, and offers his works to Mark's listeners at no cost as digital downloads. Chris Marsden doesn't even see himself as an evangelist...but the truth is, he is doing that work-and then some. She sees her deliverance as a life-transforming miracle, having now been sober for several years.
