Please Join Nate and Pastor Matt as we look further into Luke 16: 19-31. The Parable of the Lazarus and the Rich Man.
In this episode Nathan and I will discuss the sins of King Saul and King David. We will explore why King Saul's sin against God caused him to lose his Kingdom, while King David's sin (which included murder, adultery, and theft) did not cause him to lose his Kingdom. Further more, not only did King Saul lose his Kingdom, but he also lost his place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Today we discuss the Resurrection of Christ with special guests Brittany (my daughter) and Nate (my brother).
We will delve a book called Resurrection of the Devine, Compelling Evidence for the Risen Christ by Brad Cummings. We will look at the compelling evidence that Brad gives to refute the many theories that try to disprove the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I refer to this episode as Part 2, but there was an issue with the part 1 and we weren't able to play it. However, we tried to summarize some the discussion we had in this episode.

Tonight we discuss the importance of the two thieves that were crucified on each side of Jesus. We also discuss the lies that the Gospel accounts of these two men contradict themselves.
We take a look at Psalm 91 and how that pertains to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and most importantly, to US.
Christ came the first time to save us, but He will come back to judge us. “The Lord will judge His own people. It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God”. Hebrews 10: 30-31

Man had invented so many different gods it’s hard to tell which one is real. Today we look at these gods and lean who the true one and only God is. The Father of Love
Today we talk about being skeptical. We see that you can be skeptical and still have faith. And for those who keep the faith God makes some darn good promises. He keeps His covenants with us from generation to generation for those who are faithful.
Today we look at people in the Bible who suffered but trusted in God and were given the strength to rise above it. We will also look at some Bible verses for encouragement.
What does it mean when you have a Job Moment? Listen and find out. Read Job chapter 1, chapter 2, and chapter 42.
We have the tendency of splitting God and Jesus. One terrible and mea, and the other kind and loving. But that’s not right. God is love and Jesus’ time on earth showed us this.
Jesus said He is the light of the world. And those who believe in Him will also share in that light. John 8:12.
We seem to downplay the role that Joseph had in the upbringing of Jesus. God was Jesus’ Father, but God felt that it was important that Jesus have a father figure here on earth. I think that says a lot about the importance of being a good father. It’s not something we should take lightly.

Today we look in the Old Testament to find Types of Christ. Also read Isaiah chapter 53.
Today we will talk about another key promise from the Bible. Bible verses are. John 3:16, John 6:40, John 10:26-30, 1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, Luke 16:19-31, Revelation 20:11-15, and Revelation 21:1-8.
We are starting a new series called “Key Bible Promises”. Each week I will pick a promise from the Bible and discuss it. Today’s Bible Versus: Joshua 1:5, Psalm 46:1, 7, Matthew 18:20, Matthew 28:20, John 6:37, and Romans 8:38-39
Today we close the series "Why I Believe the Bible is Real"
We will take a look at the 12 Disciples and why Jesus used these ordinary men and not other, more influential, men.
We will also look at The Lord Jesus Himself and what the Jewish People expected of Him and why did didn't meet those exceptions.
Both examples will further help me prove why I believe the Bible is real.

Can anything separate us from the Love of God? If bad things happen does this mean that God no longer loves us? Is this proof that God does not exist? Not according to St. Paul. Please join us as we take a deep dive into the Love of God through Christ Jesus.

There is more we need to do for our salvation. Today we talk about Jesus Christ finishing His mission. To add more to the Gospel is to bring a curse upon yourself. When you try to keep the law to make yourself right with God, you cut yourself off from Christ! You fall away (lose) God’s Grace. Reading references. Galatians 5:1-6.
Today we will discuss Sin. Please join us as we ask the question, Does God really love the sinner, but hates the sin?

Today's lesson we take a deep dive and ask, how can I have the mindset of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? Can I really be like Him? Do I need to be like Him?

Was marriage instituted by God? If so, then what does He say marriage should be? As followers of Christ we are to submit to each other in reverence to Christ. Our marriage should be an example of Christ and His church. What is the husband's role in the marriage? How are we to love our wives? Does submitting mean we bow down and just roll over and say OK? Christ submitted Himself to death so His Church could live. Shouldn't we do the same?
Today's sermon is not for the faint at heart, as we take a deep dive into what it means to submit, respect, and love our spouse.

First and foremost let's thank God for all the mothers out there. Happy Mother's Day!
Today we will continue our discussion on Prayer. We will learn about George Muller. He started 5 orphanages in the 1800s that would house thousands of children. He claims that constant prayer paid the bills and kept the children fed.
We will also breakdown the Lord's Prayer. Did the Lord Jesus intend us to use this prayer as a prayer, or as an example of how to we should pray?
I also discuss my feelings on Christianity not being a Religion.

Today we discuss “The Power of Prayer”. Read Genesis 18: 20-33, Exodus 32: 7-14, and 1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18.
Once again I try to explain why I believe the Bible is real. I will use examples from the Bible to show that there are certain things you just don't write about if you want to sell a best seller. But the Bible does this, showing it's total unbiased nature towards the good and the bad we all do.
Two such men of the Bible King Saul and King David both started off good but didn't stay that way for long.

And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

Today we will dive deep into Romans 7:14-25 to 8:1-4. The Apostle Paul bears his heart and teaches us that we are no longer bound to the law and free of sin and death through Christ Jesus. Won't you join us!
Romans 10: 9-10. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
