There are many ways people try to describe church. As we look to scripture, we discover the Bible gives us several metaphors that answer that question, as well. We’ll take a look at 1 Peter 2 and discover what the church should be, and how we, as a local church, can strive to reflect Christ in the community in which God has placed us. Ultimately, the church is God’s “Plan A” for discipleship - made up of a group of people who know they are loved by Jesus, and who have begun to love one another in that same way.
