On this Episode of the Lindsay Gowan Show, I get to chat with Amy Leong, a fellow female Real Estate agent & Investor! I literally got chills on this one when Amy was talking about the financial futures she is changing through real estate - as this is what lights me up as well. Amy talks about buying her first property and the market dropping right after but how she still owns this one & the leverage it has given her to buy more real estate. She talks about how her & her business partner, Ally, are killing it in real estate and their aim is own more properties than hand bags! Listen to how Amy has been able to scale her portfolio with time & pre sale properties!

Problem: Many people are stuck in the 9-5 mindset & aren’t investing their money.

Do you find yourself setting goals and then consistently not being able to achieve them? On this episode I sit down with Storm Fletcher and she dives right into goals, dreams, getting uncomfortable, the illusion of control & living a beautiful life.

Storm talks about why goals need to be clearly defined so you can be held accountable. Making our goals vague because we don’t want to fail gives us an exit door to our goals when things get tough and even though we may not use the door consciously it’s there.

She breaks down sustainable vs attainable goals and digs into growth and the importance of staying uncomfortable. Get Confident, Not Comfortable. If you’re ready to get serious about your goals and really take the small steps to get there this is the episode for you!

It will leave you inspired and confident that the life of your dreams is within reach & give you the actionable steps to get there!

One of my favourite things about these podcasts is the conversations I get to have with my friends, family & people I am getting to know. This episode was with my friend Paula who I actually first met on Instagram even though we live in the same city. We finally met in person at a real estate networking event and have become fast friends. We dive into Paula’s ideas on designs, the projects she is working on and all that she and her husband, Jake, have been able to accomplish in 2 short years. They set big goals and even if they come up short they are still doing incredible things! With both Paula & I being investors and real estate agents in London Ontario we could view each other as competition but we have been able to be so much more successful with Collaboration. Paula definitely has an abundance mindset & there is more than enough business to go around. Working together & helping each other is where the growth lies- you are not going to want to miss this one as it will fire you up to take ACTION in your life!

Building a business (having an exit strategy) Episode 2: Katie Kay

In this episode, I sit down with serial entrepreneur, Katie Kay, who stresses the importance of an exit strategy before you are starting your business. She says everything is “sellable” and how thinking of this strategically before starting is crucial.

Getting started in business as a young entrepreneur at the age of 19, Katie has learned a lot about business early. Hiring a coach is another part of business Katie is passionate about & making sure your coach has a coach.

Without a coach, you are basically taking a road trip without a map... it's going to be a long journey where you are constantly having to stop & ask for directions whereas hiring a coach is like taking the road trip with GPS.
